Not a tiny piece - the second provider I went to see later found it on x-ray. 2. I chose full anesthesia but did not recall being told to avoid eating in the morning. I showed up with a full belly and was told there could be a risk of vomiting in the process. The procedure went forward. 3. After the procedure, the bone graft kept falling out. My primary dentist suggested me to see Dr Banda again. He told me the graft failed and recommended redoing the grafting procedure right away. 4. At that point I decided to see another dentist for second opinion, who then found out the fraction left behind. She suggested letting my gum heal before another procedure with a chance to grow back enough bone, which it did and saved me a procedure.

I am so happy I saw case examples and learned of Dr. Bockow's work at two different dentistry continuing education courses. She really is at the top of our field, and airway issues were a major concern for us. Dr. Bockow treats the whole person, whole body health, in addition to straightening the teeth. I realized my son had all the signs and symptoms of an airway issue. He wasn't growing well, snored, mouth breathed, was sick all of the time, had anxiety, night terrors, and also was grinding his teeth. My son just finished upper and lower expansion with Dr. Bockow and all of his symptoms have resolved completely. My son is very articulate for a 7 year old and told me he feels more rested when he wakes up in the morning after finishing treatment. His anxiety is also much better and I know it's related to his improved quality of sleep. In addition to feeling better his face looks healthier. His adult teeth are coming in straight with periodontal support because they have room to erupt where they should. We are so grateful to Dr. Bockow and her team for helping improve our son's overall health and well being. I am starting adult orthodontic treatment with her this summer and feel completely confident in her treatment planning, especially with her background as a dual trained periodontist and orthodontist. Dr. Cassie Truong is amazing and very knowledgeable. I came here for a consultation for my two boys, ages 9 and 11. She explained everything throughly by giving me scenarios, options, and answering my questions. I chose to move forward with expanders and retainers for my kids. The treatments are going great. I see the results. I have the ability to go in office for check ups or do photos. My boys love everyone in the office. They are great with kids. They Treated Me Cruelly! Intense pain! My experience at…read moreDentistry of Bellevue in November 2024 was truly awful. Dr. Khurana acted overconfident and even belittled other dentists, but his actual skill and care told a very different story. During treatment, he severely damaged my tooth (#18), breaking it far below the gum line and making it completely unsalvageable. He did not inform me that an accident had occurred -- instead, he sealed the tooth improperly and simply suggested I see an endodontist. About a week later, I developed intense pain. When I visited another endodontist in January 2025, I was told that the filling had been done poorly, leaving holes that exposed the nerves. Even worse, the tooth was damaged by Dr. Khurana so severely that a root canal was no longer a wise choice. I ultimately had to undergo extraction and bone grafting, and I still haven't received an implant because my insurance was exhausted on examinations, extraction, bone grafting, and follow-up care in earlier 2025. The endodontist confirmed that the tooth had been left incompletely sealed, which led to infection and months of pain. See attached photos. Dr. Khurana's clinic billed over $3,500 for a deep cleaning and two fillings -- one of which directly caused the loss of my tooth. This used up my entire 2024 dental insurance benefit, leaving me unable to receive needed treatment until the following year. I had to rely on painkillers for two months. Although Dr. Khurana promised compensation, he only refunded $230 in May 2025 to my 2024 insurance after repeated requests. The small refund was not only useless (since it applied to the prior year) but frankly insulting. The hygienist, Rosie, was also unprofessional, dismissive, and rude. During a December 2024 follow-up, when I told her that tooth #18 was still in severe pain, she brushed it off as "normal" and showed no concern or patience. I'm sharing this so others can avoid the same distress. I strongly recommend avoiding Dr. Khurana and the hygienist Rosie if you care about your well-being -- let alone value honesty, competence, and compassion in dental care. Eventhough I told the Dr I needed extra novacaine, he didn't listen. He was so rough with the 2nd injection he caused me to scream with pain. I've been to plenty of specialist, so I know how rough he was. I had to argue with person responsible for insurance claim because he insisted insurance wouldn't cover any of procedure. They also wouldn't bill both my insurances. Turns out DeltaDental paid some of it so I had been billed almost $300 more. I had to call & get reimbursed. They only sent me part of amount so I had to call again! Then I had to submit another claim to Humana Dental when I found out they covered the extraction. The check for $436.77 incorrectly sent to Seattle Oral & not Mr since I paid for procedure out of pocket. Seattle Oral cashed check, never notifying me. Now I'm trying to get in touch with whoever handles this, after sending email, voice-mail, speaking with reception. I was told I'd hear back this morning & haven't yet. They've now kept my money 3x! I wonder how much money they've kept from other people​​
