I explained the situation to my Yelp contact, a lady self-identified as "T.S.". She explained to me that if I took the filter out of the canister, my circulation would be back at strength and she was absolutely right when I tried it out. It turns out I just needed a new filter where I was able to pick one up affordably at a local hardware store. This all happened on the beginning of memorial day weekend, so for her to talk me through fixing this problem at a presumably busy time for pool repair technicians, she did me a tremendous favor. Her advice saved me a lot of money. There's no telling what good work this pool service will do if my problem was out of my reach.

I later received a call from Luis. Soon after calling me he put me on hold in order to answer another call, which I found rude. We scheduled an appointment for him to come over and take a look. The time of the appointment passed and Luis didn't come. I called him to check whether he was on his way and he told me that he got stuck at another job and couldn't come. Even though he had no intention of coming that day, he didn't bother to let me know. It appears that this company is related to another pool company called Swim Solutions. I requested a quote through yelp and Beth responded promptly with great information. From there I was able to communicate with her via text to collect more information and set up the service. For me this was a great method to communicate as I spend a lot of my days in meetings/conference calls so a quick text to communicate was great. Since this was for a vacation home, it made things a little bit more complicated, but Beth went above and beyond to explain things to me and try to find a way to get the service done before I arrived for a visit. Even though it likely would have been easier to just arrange for the service when I was there, Beth actually said to me that she'd like to have it ready for my use instead of having to wait a week. I really appreciated that. There also was a some confusion with me receiving the write-up/pictures after the service, but again, a quick text and Beth was super responsive. She explained they had just switched to a new system and were still learning the ropes but went out of her way to make sure I got the information I needed. I also received a follow-up email with further explanation making sure I had the information. Overall, I was really impressed with the level of customer service here. It would have been very easy to just brush me off, but multiple times they went out of their way to help me. I highly recommend them!

We had Doc Dean Pools for years. Issues are never their problem no matter what it is. For weeks we've had a yellowing green pool and was assured that our pool would be looking perfect for our backyard party. This is not safe for anyone to swim in! Again, Not their fault!!! It still was not looking clean at all after two weeks!!! We actually had to move our party to an another venue!!! This was not their problem again, and again. Now 3 weeks with an unsafe green pool Their son said it's not their fault and was rude and condescending. Then It still wasn't their fault! The son James is especially rude and condescending and extremely curt trying hard to argue with me even after I told him 3 times that I do not want to talk to you right now. He actually said to me " NO, This is the perfect time to have this conversation" I said no not right now because I'm upset about how you are talking to me and that my pool is still yellow after 3 weeks. There have been issues over the years where they would never take any responsibility and I just let it go but this time was different because of the way James was in my face. He had his face so close to my sliding doors trying to intimidate me! Snickering at me. I have terminated their service and am writing this review as I've seen now on this review page with YELP that others have had similar issues.
