BEWARE: SunStone Pools & Outdoor Living, cancelled an unfinished project via email using a bogus…read moreexcuse while owing us thousands of dollars and leaving us with an unusable backyard full of rocks, sand, holes, rusted metals, and trash. The owner, Brad, is refusing to return the money and give us an itemized breakdown of all cost and labor. He has threaten to countersue me if I take any legal action and has name dropped his Attorney, A. H., to attempt to intimidate me. Below is a summary and I have attached a more detail timeline of events. May 31, 2023. Agreement. Total Cost $62,950. Verbally discussed with Byron (Sales person) that I needed the project completed July 4th. As of July 5th, I have given SunStone Pools $36,950 and they have only completed $20,550 worth of work. On June 20, due to an argument with Brad, owner, over a timeline where he shouted and called my idea to fill the pool back up because it was cracking due to the extreme heat stupid. I received a timeline via email with milestones and an agreed completion date of July 14 from Byron at the direction of Mark (marketing) who had de-escalated the situation the day before. After the owner had asked his workers to leave my house. By July 5, I started receiving text and calls that they were having trouble sourcing the travertine that they knew back on June 19 that they had to pre order 3 weeks in advance. That night I sent an official notification to everyone that I needed that project completed by the agreed date of July 14, 2023 as agreed verbally and in writing. On July 6. Brad sent me an email cancelling the project because according to him, me asking for the project to be completed by the date that was agreed verbally and in writing was "anticipatory breach of contract." SunStone Pools stopped work and abandon the job, so I requested an itemized breakdown of all costs and labor to determine the exact amount owed to us and that any money owed to us be returned by July 10, 2023 end of day. Brad the owner has refused. I filed a claim with the BBB and his only response was that he cancelled the project because I "promised not to pay" which is lie and I submitted the email as proof. This has been a nightmare for me and my family and yet he continues to attempt to re write history with his own narrative to justify what he did to us. I just want the thousands of dollars that was given to him to complete a job to be returned to me so that I can start cleaning up the mess that his company left behind. Please Beware !

So instead of just moving two dressers she waisted time rearranging my bedroom and then had to undo it cause thankfully I had to come home to grab something. I caught her double handing all my pants and asked her why would she do that because if I take one they are both going to fall please don't do that. Come back to find all my short and skirts are double hung. When we had our walk through I had many things in the bathroom already organized and told her don't bother. Apparently she didn't understand don't waist your time organizing something I already did. Along with that I specifically asked for my medicine to stay above my toilet out of the reach of children and I come back to find it all under the sink. Every draw I have is tightly packed with as many "like things" as she could find so much so that if you pull one they all pop out. Underwear separate in three separate drawers per my request based on type except she didn't feel the need to separate by type, types that were very obvious, a thon and briefs are not the same. Two draws of socks I was fine with but not in two separate rooms of the house and with both being half full of single socks I had set aside for laundry. Don't hire these people to organize your house unless you have time to babysit. I was told there was no need to stay and had an extremely busy day and by the time I came back I was so disappointed in this waist of money. I needed this so bad and instead my house is now a mess again because I had to undo 90% of what she did. I had Laura so make sure you have your own action plan to give cause even words aren't clear enough. They will not discuss even a partial refund of my $687 because they have their evidence and can find no fault. The only the solution they will give you is wordy emails and a 30 minute consultation.

She did not judge; instead, she offered helpful tips and ideas for literally every problem we have/had. She worked DILIGENTLY over the course of 2 days to get our space organized. Every solution met our family's needs TO THE T! She did not waste a single second. Christi takes her position seriously and will work tirelessly to complete the job. Jill is just awesome.
