ABSOLUTELY THE WORST service center i have ever been to. Their so called mechanics if thats what you want to call them but I prefer a joke and now refer to them as emich NO KNOWLEDGE kia. They will take parts off your car and put them on other people's cats then tell you that a rock must've knocked the part off. They will lie about your car being fixed, then of course deny any wrong doing when your car is in worse condition after being serviced there. They then removed all the freon from my car anf said my a/c was fixed and when I confronted them and told them I was tired of the lies, they said they were offended (apparently cause the truth HURTS!) and they then told me I could take my car elsewhere to get what they messed up fixed. They tried to lie about it and let me tell you its coming to an end. I will not lay back and not do anything! Im going to be their worst nightmare or one of many. How do you like me now you dumb ignorant, incompetent of a joke who sells cars that they are clueless about and cant even fix there brand of cars!! You guys are a disgrace and a joke!! Starting on May 30, we purchased a used 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe from Emich Kia. My family and I have purchased around 20 vehicles over the past 25 years, and I would place this experience toward the bottom when ranking that warm & fuzzy feeling you get when purchasing a vehicle. Communication was poor - there have been surprises every step of the way, starting with after we put down the $2,500 deposit when we learned that there was only 1 key fob. I responded with "really?" and I expected them to replace the key fob at their cost. Instead, I get a tersely worded SMS from Ryan the general manager saying "It's a used car and the price is the price we agreed to with the equipment that it has. [Sales rep] never told you that it has 2 keys." I said fair enough and thanked them for being up front about the missing key fob. So then a couple of days later, they FedEx the paperwork with some sort of weekday-only shipping where the packages only move during weekdays. It was nice that they pre-paid for the return FedExing with the same M-F service. So I fill out the paperwork, get some page notarized and mail 2 checks for the remaining balance after the $2,500 deposit. It took about 3 or 4 days after the checks cleared our banks for their finance department to release the vehicle. We were out of town while this happened. I called for the 3rd or so time to check to see when the vehicle would be shipped to us, and I learned a few things, like: 1) the car was shipped earlier that day 2) there's a crack in the front windshield (which Emich Kia said they would pay to replace) and 3) they forgot to put the vehicle charging cable in the car before they hastily shipped it and that they would M-F FedEx it to us. Well then on June 17, we received the car and learned that they did not charge the battery. re-wash the car or fill the gas tank before they shipped it. These are not must-dos, and as the GM would say the price did not include washing, charging or filling the gas tank. Nor does the price we paid cover the missing wheel key. They did do some things right. For example, they originally quoted the cost for shipping from Denver to Houston at $750, but apparently Tom the sales manager got a lower rate of $650, which was the only pleasant surprise. I will say that Duston the sales rep and Tom his sales manager were pleasant to work with despite their lack of attention to detail. The dealership also provided an extensive Carfax report and good details of some pre-sale inspections & repairs they did. So all in all, it feels like the used car team at Emich Kia are disorganized and don't really value the customer experience nearly as much as the 15 or so other dealerships we've purchased vehicles from over the past 3 decades. But it sounds like it's not Tom or Duston's fault that their customers don't get that great feeling when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from Emich Kia. Rather, it's their management's desire to squeeze every dollar out of every deal is the reason is why customer satisfaction takes a back seat to their bottom line. So again, not a great experience and not as bad as it could have been. That said, I'll make sure to post updates if we find anything else that doesn't meet our expectations, including if they make some attempt to do anything extra not included in the price paid for the vehicle. *these concerns have already been bought to the attention of the dealership, so while the dealership might be "disappointed to hear that my experience was not a positive one," I don't need to reach out and give the dealership another "opportunity to address [my] concerns." I don't need to "reach out to us directly at (303) 757-7751 when [I] have a chance" because I've already done so. read more

No guarantee that they fix vehicles well but I guarantee that they'll plant a seed of fear in you to force you to come back thinking you need to. Then I come to find out weeks after my purchase that my credit was run. On top of that the sales people know nothing about Tesla's yet they try to promote that they are the best place to buy used Tesla's from in Colorado. I was told there were multiple features on my car that weren't there. I was told that full sell drive was illegal and you couldn't use it which is 100% not true. I also paid $65,000 for a used Tesla which is the same as a brand new one with FSD which this one did NOT have. This company will 100% rip you off. DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY HERE. So I bought a 2014 Nissan 370Z from this dealership around Oct 20th. They sold me a vehicle that they were unaware of what was even done to it and claimed it passed all of there inspections. The vehicle apparently had a tune done it and failed to pass emissions due to it. I was working with the dealership to get this resolved, I spent around $1500 out of my pocket to get a new ecu, put a new tune on it I was promised it'd make it pass and it drilled failed emissions. On top of that, 2 months after getting the car I had to replace the battery and was having issues with the clutch so I had to bleed all the air out of it a few times. A month after that the car stopped starting due to a failed ac compressor and driver side tensioner belt. I spoke to the owner about selling the car back and he advised since it has more miles than when they sold me the car they would buy it back for a little less than what they offered. I have been calling daily trying to get ahold of the manager Jermery, no response and it's been a little over a week. I can't even get in contact with the owner Colt. I went in for an appraisal anyway and the guy offered me 15,500 and claimed that it failing emissions was on me, which immediately upset me. Since they don't even know what they are selling to their customers. I still owe $26k on a vehicle that can't even pass emissions now, due to company that doesn't care about the customers and does not do their due diligence to make sure their vehicles are in a good running state. Also when they had my vehicle to "fix it" they dropped it off at a Nissan dealership, declined the quote that Nissan offered them, and they could have picked up the vehicle when I was advised the exact opposite by them. They also had me reach out to the tuning shop, me drive an hour to the dealership to pick up my ecu, mail it out to them, and than had me to take it back to them, for it to still fail emissions. I could go on for hours and go into much more details about the games and BS I have been through with this company it's unreal... I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. First time experience buying a vehicle at a dealership and it was ruined by them. read more

They sold him an extended warranty saying it covered everything and every-time he has to use it they try to act like whatever the problem is isn't covered. Tried to contact their head quarters and as far as they know my father doesn't have an extended warranty. (Yes he has it in physical form) So I guess these guys just pocketed the money? He thoroughly explained the process and I had their shop mechanic technician did a fine job. I have had the pleasure of working with the Emich family on multiple occasions for both sales and service. Recently I had an issue with the injectors on my Duramax. The vehicle was out of warranty but the VSC I purchased from them covered everything that needed to be fixed. The injectors were fixed and the emissions system was reworked in a timely manner and the VSC essentially paid for itself. I was even provided with a loaner while it was in the shop. I came in near closing time to test drive a particular vehicle, and that was my first mistake. I felt a lot of pressure to buy right then, rather than bringing my husband in the following morning to drive it as well, offer his input, and co-sign on the loan. The test drive was quite short, because I thought surely they'd be able to hold it for me to view in the morning, but that wasn't possible. I wasn't told until the deal was complete that the car had only one key, the reason being that the inspection report (and any additional keys) were located at their other branch. I was trepidatious not receiving the inspection report until two days following the sale. Clarissa the Finance Manager was direct and swift and didn't try to "sell" me more products, was just straight up and really the easiest person I have ever dealt with at a dealership. i will never recommend buying a vehicle from emich automotive. i bought an infiniti from them. the wiring was tampered with before i bought it. a remote start was added which ended up burning up my wiring harness. this is a 10k repair. when i purchased the vehicle i was given a signed inspection report that showed that all systems were in good shape. this was all a lie. once the vehicle broke on me the local infiniti dealership sent me pictures which showed splicing and electrical tape that shows that this vehicle should have never passed inspection....the pictures clearly show tampering but the signed off that everything was fine. i trusted them and their inspection because i bought the vehicle from louisiana and totally relied on their honesty and thoroughness in inspecting vehicles that they sell. after making a claim that the warranty company denied.....the owner said that he would help me....once i got prices for him he would no longer take my calls. buyer beware! read more

I was approved for a car at Emich. I was happy I was finally getting a car. Only issue was that the car hasn't been inspected and they told me it would take a week. Plus when I test drive the car it smelled like cigarettes and it was really dirty. Anyways that didn't stop me from liking the car. I gave it a day and called them and told them I am really Interested but I would really like the car to be cleaned and inspected before I move forward. They said okay. A couple days later they called and said there's something wrong with the radiator and needs to be fixed and it would be 2gs to Fix it and would take a week. Then the guy requested for me to put 1.5k to hold the car. I told them no because they car hasn't been fix yet and idk if it has been cleaned. Plus it'll be more reasonable to put the money down after the car is good to go. He said okay that's fine we'll give u a call. They never called me. I kept calling after 3 days for updates. Next thing you know they sold the car. I feel like that was really messed up. I feel like they got upset because I wasn't willing to pay to hold the car when it wasn't even fix yet. Unless they were planning to use that money to fix the car. Anyways I was able To buy a car from carmax a 2019 car. Thank for everything Emich. We had the worst experience you could have trying to buy a car. All parties that we were involved with, from salesmen/saleswomen to a finance manager were dishonest and manipulative. One salesman was just downright rude and we refused to deal with him. The sales manager, a woman, hid information from us in order to get an application and a credit report on my daughter. The finance manager told so many lies I couldn't keep count. We told them UPFRONT that we could put money down on a car that was NO MORE than $10,000 and that we wanted a monthly payment in the $200 range. And we told them that we didn't want to run a credit report or fill out an application if the car(s) that we looked at were more than that amount because my daughter could not afford a more expensive car. They let us believe that the car we were looking at would fit our parameters, but after filling out the application and letting them run a credit report they put a quote in front of us for a payment of $660 a month for 48 months!!! We were incredulous! Of course we said that my daughter could not afford that payment, which they knew. The lying finance manager spun all manner of tall tails and kept dropping the monthly payment until he got all the way down to $399 a month, which my daughter still could not afford. We then tried to talk about another car that she could have bought outright but they refused to even talk about that car. So we left. Then, the finance manager started texting my daughter the next day about the lower priced car, bypassing me altogether. My daughter has never bought a car before and he knew that so he tried to take advantage of her. He actually got her to the point of signing an econtract but she was smart enough to call me and have me talk to him. Turns out he was trying to sell her an extended warranty that he admitted didn't cover much, but he would not tell me how much he was charging her for the warranty. He also would not say how much the final cost of the car was, how much she would get for her trade in, what was the interest rate, or how many months she would pay. When I asked for a copy of the contract he was evasive. When I told him that I would just come down to the dealership he literally told me that he didn't want me to negotiate for my daughter and then he spun a lot of legal B.S. about liability if it were not her decision to buy the car. Basically, I just called him out his lying and evasion he just started talking so fast that I could not get a word in. I told him, "Hey, could you stop talking for a minute?" He just said, "No, no, no! This is not working for me." I hung up on him and called my daughter back and told her to walk out. He STILL pursued her with more texts and calls and ultimately sent her a contract. She sent the contract to me. I noticed that the PDF that contained the contract was titled "sample." I read over the contract and the numbers did not even add up correctly. This is what the "contract" said: The total cost of the financed payments would be $3,529.80. But then I looked and noticed that there were 57 payments at $196.10, which multiplied would total $11, 177.70!!! I told my daughter that the people that we dealt with at Emich were dishonest, having outright lied many times, and manipulative and that she should NOT ever deal with them again. I am writing this to warn others of their dishonesty and to tell everyone that if anyone tries to sell you something with a contract that they won't allow you to share with an advisor don't do business with them!!! Everything should be transparent!! If the seller is not transparent and upfront with ALL information don't buy from them!!!! If they try to manipulate or bully you, don't buy from them!!! If they hide anything from you or someone you trust to negotiate for you, don't buy from them!!! Emich Automotive did all of the above! I advise you NOT to buy from them!!! read more

The dealership is kept in top shape and the entire transaction was completely transparent. No sales tactics or strong-arming from what I saw, just a real professionally run business. Transparent on pricing, transparent on deal terms, and literally no surprises. Everything was clearly stated up front, the vehicle was exactly as advertised, I wouldn't honestly change a thing if I could about the entire transaction. The price we agreed on was the price I walked out of the door paying. Rob was / is a great communicator, he gets the information you need quickly to make an informed decision and close the deal. Liar, Bait and Switch! Stereotypical Used Car Dealer! They have no problem wasting your time!! If I could rate them negative stars, I would! I found Emich Automotive on www.cargurus.com. To avoid wasting time, I was totally upfront about my credit from the beginning. My last 2 visits, when I arrived, the staff sitting right at the entrance completely ignored me and I had to walk around to find someone to help me -- Totally Rude!! After the Finance Manager personally told me he got an approval (2nd visit), I picked out a Lexus with hail damage from their list of "approved" cars. After confirming I was coming and the payee for the cashier's check, I went back yesterday with my down payment check in hand to do the deal. Finance Manager told me 3 different stories about why my salesman (Todd) was not there (1. moved to NC without giving notice, 2. he had to let him go, 3. mutual agreement to leave).The most annoying lie -- Finance Manager said that they never came up with a list of "approved" cars before and he tried to start the process over again, of course blaming the absent Todd! Told him I wasn't interested in looking at other cars and came specifically for the hail damaged Lexus. He said the Lexus was not on the list and they need $5-8K down instead of the $1,500 they asked for last time!!! Seriously?? As I was walking out, the Finance Manager followed me, still blaming Todd and then on me and my credit situation. As I was closing my door, I heard him say under his breath, "I don't like wasting my time either." Really? That part is all on you!! Lesson Learned: If a dealer feels shady -- at any point in the deal, they're shady!! Don't give Emich Automotive the opportunity to waste your time! read more
