This business advertises itself as hand car wash but they use high pressure machines to clean the inside. This caused damage to the paint inside my car. When I brought it up they tried to deny it saying that it was preexisting damage but whenever I confronted them saying that it was not, then they backpedaled and told me it was because they used a high pressure air machine to clean but it was missing a nozzle. They tried to get my information saying that the owner will call me but when I asked for the owner number they just gave me their office number. Pulled in at 1:15pm for a basic $40 hand wash, didn't leave until 3:22pm. I took a whole nap in the waiting room, it's not even funny how long it took. And I wouldn't say they were packed, but when we pulled in there were two cars on either side of the vacuum lanes. Now to say it took about 2 hours I was greatful with the wash my car got. They put armor-all on my tires and interior, vacuumed every nook and cranny in the dash area, cleaned the inside of the windows and my car smelt great. They did do a great job. I'm not mad at that for $40. Nothing better than a clean car. I'd go back, but I refuse to wait in the customer area for another two years so next time I'm dropping the car off and going up the street to my to get my favorite nachos. Recently, I took my car to get washed on Tuesday, and the next day, I realized that the rubber mats in the front and back of my car were missing. I called the number on the website, and there was no answer until, finally, someone answered. Apparently the number I called was the owner's number, and he asked me to send him a picture of my vehicle and around what time I picked up the vehicle. I never got a callback, and I ended up calling a different number that one of my family members had on file and telling them the situation. The same response was that they would call me back to give me an update, but they never did. I have a dash cam on my car and went back to review the footage to see which employees were working on the car, and yet when my husband called them back to tell them we had video of the employees working on my car, they claimed that from their cameras no rubber mats were taken out of my car. I have been a customer of Emilio's for several years and never had this issue before, but this will be the last time I service my car there. Please save money and go to another hand car wash because it's not worth the time or money. I've been coming here once a week for long time. That's $100 a month of revenue. Last two times I came, the people cleaning my interior broke some items with careless cleaning. Second time it happened, the owner wanted to see what they broke and i was assuming as a small business owner and a professional, he was going to do something. All this man did was look at me and said, "im sorry". Once? Fine, but breaking things inside my car twice? I expected him to take action. Paid my money, got in line. Even had a 5.00 laying on console to give. 20-30 minutes, I'm next in line, and worker jumps in truck they had pulled up "beside" me, and quickly squeezes it past me. Then ! Same worker goes and grabs another car and squeezes it in same spot for it to be next ! They all seemed to think it was quite funny. Went and found attendant and insisted on refund. For some strange reason I can't leave a review for the deer park location because it's not registered I'm guessing. SO I suppose I'll leave one here. This was my first time using the deer park location because it's a bit closer than the Pasadena one. There were a few things I noticed. One, they kept skipping my car to be washed. This happened 2x in a row. Luckily a lady there was able to translate for me and tell them that they had been skipping my car. Second, there were multiple dirt marks on mg car that they didn't get off. THIRDLY, most importantly. I don't understand why they have to put SO MUCH tire dressing on the tires. Especially on the treads of the tires seeing that once I carefully pulled out of the parking lot my vehicle decided to skid and I lost control for a split second. This has never happened to me before and I used to clean my own tires with no issue. So I think paying $43 for them not to get every spot and overusing products isn't worth it. I have been bringing my car to them for over a year, they would do an amazing job at first but now customer service isn't great. *1st time I had an incident they lost one of my mats, when I questioned them about it they acted dumb saying my car only had 3 mats when I know for a fact I had all 4. They never took responsibility and tried playing me dumb. * 2nd time I dropped off my car around 3 pm told me it would be ready in about 1- 1.5 hrs, I came back at 5:30 expecting my car to be done but instead my car was off to the side and were washing a tow truck, idk how many other cars had skipped me. *3rd time I waited for my car and right in-front of my face they went ahead and SKIPPED me again and began washing another car. I finally decided to stop and I after speaking with the attendants I knew I would be alright. Everyone is very friendly. And they seem to be always opened. My kind of place. Ready when I need them. I am sitting under the patio now about to eat and truck is almost. The professionalism here is by better than any other wash that I have been to here in Pasadena-Now granted I have not been to all but this is the only one that I've been that I truck didn't have to run through a machine. i took my car in at around 1:15 on a Monday. I inquired about how long it would take to do the cleaning, wah and hand was and told 1 hour at $155 + tax, the total cam to $167.79. I set my time on my watch and after 45 minutes I looked outside and my truck had not even been washed yet. So I asked the lady to do nothing else and refund my paid ticket. I told her if she cant do the job in the time she said she could I wanted a refund and would take my business somewhere else. She called the owner and I was talking to him (he wasn't on the premises) and he said the problem was my truck and I cut him off and told him my truck was not the problem and the problem was he didnt do the job in the time he said he could do it and he suggested I bring it back and I refused and demanded a refund. He finally refunded the cost but I dont hate the guy but I just prefer to do business with someone who does that he says he can do for that price in the time frame he says he can do it. Wish there was an option for a neg review, first off they tried to keep my wife's floor mats then tried to tell her she never had any.... then the shampoo job they did was terrible. The seats were soaking wet upon pick up and when we tried to reach out to the owner, the women that runs it outside always had an exxcuse if he's busy, he's not here( which she talked to him an a walkie....) very unprofessional from start to finish. PREFACE: I am not from Texas and after driving here from Tennessee I had driven through a massive amount of bugs. We don't have them around where I live but I believe they are called "love bugs"? The entire front end of the car was covered with dead bugs to the point where you couldn't see the paint color on the bumper and I could barely see through the windshield. I wanted to find a place to really get the car clean and looked online. This place popped up with a good rating and because they wash the car by hand I felt much better about trying them than an automated one where I know from experience it wouldn't be able to match the same level of clean. I decided to give this place a try after reading some reviews. EXPERIENCE: When I pulled up two employees where waiting at my driver's side rear door with big smiles before I could even open my door. They went over the prices and what each package offered when I told them I have never been there before. I chose the basic package for $25.00 as my main focus was to get the exterior clean. I went inside and sat down while they cleaned it, slightly smiling watching them laugh at the level of bugs on the front of my car and was impressed how even when everyone else finished their section of the car and moved on to the next car the guy working in the front kept going until he got the front and windshield to his level of satisfaction. Before I knew it it was done. My 2017 Nissan Altima looked brand new on the showroom floor all over again. Not a single bug anywhere remaining on the front. Not only was the inside clean but the trash was gone from the inside which obviously accumulates after a nearly 900 mile trip I took the day before coming from Tennessee to Houston, TX. The inside was spotless, vacuumed, and they even offered me some free scent of my choice which I declined as I'm one of the guys who likes the new car smell but if the scents smelled as good as the service and quality of work done on cleaning I bet I would have been impressed. I was definitely impressed and would return to have my car cleaned. Before leaving one of the gentlemen involved told me to come again for any car cleaning needs. As a customer it's nice to not feel like you're bothering the employees and they actually want to do their jobs. Everyone here moved like clockwork and worked together with real synergy. I have no doubt where I'll go the next time I'm in Houston and my car needs to be cleaned. I truly feel sorry for their competitors. TAKE AWAYS: 1.
