Not only did they look great, but I could tell that the photos reflected the people Rachael was photographing, which was something that was really important to us when picking a wedding photographer - we wanted to be able to look back on our special day and have all our emotions captured in the pictures! Working with Rachael was amazing. In addition to being super talented, she is incredibly kind and also very organized, making her such a pleasure to work with. We were in a unique situation that we wanted our engagement photos done in the Boston area while our wedding was out of state. Rachael managed to not only suggest an amazing location for our engagement shoot, but she also found the most wonderful location for our wedding photos in a place she'd never been in. She was so thoughtful during the whole process, making sure permits, timing, and all the other little details were taken care of. She was also a great resource when it came to planning in general, making sure to coordinate with our wedding planner and giving incredibly helpful advice on outfit and accessory choices in terms of which sorts of things photograph better than others. Her attention and care to detail not only elevate her work, but also make it clear that getting the best photos possible is always her top priority. The design team that she works with is amazing and brought my vision for the balloon backdrop to life. She works with her partner/husband Ed who was also super nice and helpful; he came down to help us with our belongings when we got to the studio. The studio was so clean and airy looking; it was the perfect spot for photos with natural lighting. Melissa really showed her expertise and comfort level in taking wonder shots of our son and of us. She was able to direct us on how and where to pose and also adjust things like fixing my hair or adjusting my legs/heels so that they would not look awkward (not all photographers will do this, this comes with experience).
