Beware! If you ever don't like your color- it seems they take pleasure in making you regret ever saying anything! It is disappointing to write this because sometimes Itzia has done my hair beautifully and then the last few times she almost purposely did a horrible job. I sat with bleach on my hair unchecked as she took several other clients. Next appointment- same thing and started highlights in the back of my hair vs the front despite my saying (or maybe because I asked?) I'd like to be brighter around my face and part. I believe they are mostly concerned about their pocketbooks and if you have a problem it is torture to get back in and obviously they want you to pay for it! Not sure why a cosmetologist would purposefully do this/ but beware! read more

Very upset with my second visit there. The owner/manger/front desk personnel (Christine) up sold me on unnecessary services at the salons best interest then they messed up my hair and made it darker when i just wanted more blonde. I heard them say it came out blotchy and they asked me to pay before i was even finished processing. After spending almost $300 and SIX hours there they didn't even offer to attempt to fix it but tell me to wait 2 months until my next appointment. I clearly expressed myself to the owner to which i received a sarcastic response showing they don't care and knew exactly what they were doing. Too bad because i live so close and would've frequented the salon and spa often. Very displeased with the service i received. Terrible management. Read conversation below with salon owner. read more

My husband is the Yelp maniac in the family... But I just have to post about a wonderful Hair Salon in Sebastian, FL. EMINENCE HAIR. DESIGN. From the moment I walked in to this sparkling clean salon ( important ), with the friendly greeting and offers of coffee, water and magazines...I thought "Hmmm this is a nice surprise". Then my hair stylist, Emily, took over and really listened to me! Thanks Emily! She colored my hair ( had tons of grey ) wonderfully, I'm blonde again! She also gave me the best cut I have had in years. The prices are fair for such great quality and service. Everyone who works there has the same friendly attitude. SEE UPDATE. BEFORE YOU CHOOSE THIS PLACE. IF THEY MAKE AN ERROR..,YOU PAY FOR IT, NOT THEM. 1st review. Got my first haircut just before the Covid-19 shutdown & have gone back since. UPDATE: October 8th & 17th 2020 Hair color: different story. Terrible customer service.. Had my hair done by ASHLEY 10/8/2020. She chose a different color unbeknownst to me so I really had no say in it, because she just did it without discussing it with me. Afterwards, she told me the color she put in matched my natural roots. Got home, looked in my mirror only to find my gray hairs were not covered at all! She made an error with color. I called an explained the problem and when back for correction of the coloring error. So she redid my color to cover the grays. But they AGAIN charged me $28.00 for "pulling the color through". I paid them but was confused about this charge. Didn't know if I was charged that before..came home and found they DID CHARGE ME $28.00.. The first time they charged $50 for color, $28 to "pull it through" and $45 to blow out my hair.. plus insisted I needed product to keep color in which cost another $21. So, I called today and explained that this should have been complementary because of THEIR error. They refused to remove the charge the $28 charge for pulling the color through. I had the charge removed permanently by my credit card company.. which I told them I would do if they didn't remove the charge. Why must I pay for someone's mistake.. for 45 years I lived in NY and went to several top stylists there. If you ever had a problem, you went back and it was always complementary...They would NEVER CHARGE YOU FOR THEIR ERROR..apparently that isn't the same in FLORIDA. Apparently, I need to find a decent honorable salon that isn't money hungry and that knows how to do a complimentary fix to a problem they were responsible for. Very disappointed because I thought they were better than this. For $28.00 they lost a customer who would have been a constant return customer. So disappointed! I really like the people there until they made money their priority over me. read more

For the past 3 months I have been searching for places to go for my hair and make-up until I cam across a little shop by the name of Eminence Hair Design. At first I didn't know what I was getting into until I entered this quaint little shop of fabulousness. Upon arrival I was greeted by a pleasant young redhead with smile that would stretch from the eastern sea board to the west. I was offered water, coffee, and tea, a snack and a smile. The greeting alone made me want to book my next appointment without even knowing the art that these wonderful women would create. Itzia and her crew (as I like to call them) turned me into the most beautiful blonde I have EVER BEEN! Thank you girls for the love you have and shared in your work.
