Onella was so nice, stopping by our table to make sure we were good and even offering us a specialty drink. Another shout-out to the bartender whose name I didn't get, but she was a complete sweetheart. The drinks were really good. For food, I had the French toast and the eggs Benedict. I'm usually not a fan of eggs Benedict at all, but this one was actually delicious. The plates are small but definitely enough to fill you up. I wished the pastrami sandwich was available while I was there, but it's a lunch item and I missed the timing. They also handle things quickly here. There was an issue with one of the restrooms, but they immediately put it out of service and got right to work on fixing it. Its a nice relaxing place to kill time while waiting for your flight. Overall it was once again a great experience, and I'll definitely be back.

Upon entry, there's a cafe on your left where you can order bagels, wraps, coffee, and salads on the go. It's convenient if you're rushing to your gate as it's all packaged up for you. As you continue inside, there's a buffet spread, pastries, and a cheesemonger bar on the left. Then you also have individual bathrooms, showers, and a fully stocked bar on your right. Of course, there's also made to order items on every table with a QR code as well. They have the idea right here: you're gonna love your layover.

The lounge is spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating, and everything was clean and well maintained. There are two buffet areas, plus a separate coffee and dessert/ice cream bar on the upper level. I found the food to be surprisingly flavorful for an airport lounge, and I also appreciated that kosher meals are available upon request. If you have time before your flight, don't miss the 1850 Speakeasy tucked inside the lounge. It's a fun addition and serves well-crafted specialty cocktails in a more intimate setting. One of my favorite features was the view overlooking the tarmac. It's a great place to relax while watching the constant flow of aircraft taxiing and taking off. Overall, an excellent lounge experience and one we'd happily visit again.

There's a small buffet area which had limited food options including lasagna and chicken. There's also a salad bar where the veggies were fresh. The one thing I really liked was their tomato based vegetable soup. The vegetables were tender, the broth was savory and hearty, yet had a good balance of the vegetables natural sweetness and the acid from the tomatoes. There's also small bar and only 1 person working so there's always a lot of people waiting around that area. Overall, it's a great option if you want to go in to grab a quick bite and use the restrooms before the flight. However, I did not find it comfortable as it was very crowded but perhaps it's better at other times of the day

You can debate the nuances of each-- Centurion's food is better, Capital One's is larger and has a cheese monger, Ess a Bagel, and better cocktails. But compared to the sort of lounges that don't have their own bathrooms and offer nothing more than some bananas and cereal, you really could do worse. The Sapphire lounge in LGA is larger and prettier, but they pretty much offer the same amenities. The bathrooms have been clean every time I've visited, save for one time. The menu isn't vast but there's a little buffet station with fresh fruit and hot food, as well as a made to order menu with full sized portions. Sometimes the food has been quick, and other times it has taken a while, so you really should give yourself some buffer time if you're trying to get something from the made to order menu. The food is fine. I've visited enough times to say that the folks who work here have been so warm and nice each time, checking in and asking guests how they're doing. Garbage is cleaned up immediately, so it's a pretty well oiled machine in there. You can bring up to 2 guests and any additional guests cost just $27 more, which I'd say it's worth it, particularly if you have a long layover and will have a couple of drinks.

The food was 10x better than anything I've ever seen in Polaris, *A, One World or any other lounges here. The buffet was also 5x better though we only ate in the lounge. Pros: Services are far superior than many A1 lounges that I have been to unless you're flying La Premiere by Air France. Other than that it was way better than Emirates itself and I an Emirates Platinum Member I must admit this. The decor feels like vintage dinner with a modern touch, it's almost like old Hollywood glamour. Many dishes are made a la carte, a true definition of fine dining. Several Chefs and Sous Chef are eager to cook you whatever you want with a smile. There are several seating areas that you can use to enjoy your delicious 5 course meals and drinks. Who can forget the quiet room with several 0 gravity chairs for a relaxing massage before your flight. Everyone was beyond polite and attentive. Honestly, this lounge makes both the AMEX & regular DL lounges feel very basic. I was pleasantly surprised. The experience is far better & above what you will experience in the cabin. Once you come you will have no desire to leave. It's therapeutic & magical. There's something for everyone there. Most importantly it's never as crowded as the regular lounge. Cons: Although everyone is super friendly and attentive. It almost feels like disingenuous & rehearsed. Everyone is repeating the same lines as if they were told what to say which caused me to question and or doubt that they really felt that way. This experience never gets old, it's like adrenaline rushing through your veins, it takes you so high that every time you get on the actual flight DL one cabin, you feel a sense of disappointment. Overall, I never want my flight to be canceled delayed so badly when I am in this lounge. The attention to detail is world class and mastered by the most hardworking patrons. It's truly the 4 seasons of ALL US Airlines lounges. Just when I thought they couldn't compete with Emirates and/or Qatar, DL one lounge surpasses them. It's the only reason why I never regretted paying premium for DL one seat. I just wish that level of service continues in the cabin.

However, in recent years I have had the option to access a few - but even still I'm not hiking across the terminal; it needs to be within close proximity. I recently flew out of JFK Terminal 4, and the Delta Sky Club was super close to my gate. That being said, I decided to check it out. I have no perspective when it comes to lounges, but I will say this Sky Lounge is quite large. The perimeter of the lounge contains a variety of seating types, while the middle contains more seating plus the main food station. The layout is a little confusing, but from what I got it seems to be a big circle...maybe? The setting is pretty nice - seats are comfortable with outlets in convenient locations to juice up. I wouldn't say it was peaceful though, as there were a lot of people there. Even still, nobody was loud or disruptive - just be prepared to be among people. I wasn't hungry so did not partake in food, but what I saw looked good - and they had an impressive variety. Overall, I was impressed with this Delta Sky Club. You're away from a good portion of the craziness and I wouldn't hesitate to spend time here again before another flight.

Was looking for lighter stuff but couldn't find the overnight oats/chia seed. So I grabbed coffee and a banana, a little bit of home fries (very bland) and regret getting the cold meat... it was gross. Sadly this location looks a little run down... might be time to refresh. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, if you have other options, go there. Otherwise, this is an alternative to kill time and have a bite to eat.

This was the closest dining establishment that served alcohol by our gate, so we stopped by. It is pretty small and cramped, but we managed to find two seats along the window facing the planes. It was hard to fit in the area as people tend to put bags on seats, etc. Plus the walkway to the kitchen is right there so you feel like you are in the way. Food wise, I liked my salad. Could have done without the chips as I really just wanted greens, veggies, and protein. For $26, it was obviously on the smaller side, but hey, it's an airport resto. My drink was all right. Kinda weak in the liquor and spice department, but fine for sipping. My friend seemed to enjoy his food and cocktail. I wish there were more options in this area of the airport.
