For drinks, I ordered the French 95. I am usually a French 75 girl, but when in Tennessee, Tennessee whiskey is the obvious choice. The French 95 was delicious and very reasonably priced. For food, I ordered the smoked wings and fries, and both were excellent. The wings were a solid 10 out of 10 with great flavor, and the fries were just as good and paired perfectly with the drink. Overall, Humble Baron was an amazing experience. Between the atmosphere, music, service, drinks, and food, this is a place I will absolutely be returning to.

The bathrooms were constantly cleaned and tidied during the 4 hour visit with well over 100 people. Acoustics were okay. Many times, the speakers/microphones were going out and it was hard to hear clearly at times. Seating was very comfortable. The temperature was good but the restrooms definitely seemed warmer than other parts of the hotel. Overall, this was a good venue to host a conference and I'm glad to hear that the company hosts here once a year.

Oh my gosh!! What a find this place was. The food is freshly made every day from scratch. Besides their fixed menu, they have specials of the day and homemade soups. The first day, I had a bleu cheese burger with sweet potato fries that was utterly delicious. The fries came with a maple dipping sauce and the burger had candied bacon on top. My grandson had the smothered chicken and rice special that came with a choice of 2 sides and he thought it was the best thing he ever ate. We went back the next day and I tried their Reuben sandwich and the corned beef was so tender. They cook the briskets there for their sandwiches. My grandson had the Good Morning burger which is an egg on top of a burger served on a homemade English muffin, he ordered the regular fries with his burger and they were great. All their fries are fresh cut to order. I know where I'll be eating next time I am visiting the area!! I highly recommend this place! read more

Is no one going to address the racism here?? A restaurant named 'Urban Plantation' is decorated with cotton and paintings of known white supremacists. I have lived in Shelbyville most of my life and only recently became aware of this racist establishment. If you want to give your money to white supremacists then this is the place to do it. If not, I would suggest eating literally anywhere else. read more
