Overall: LOVE. My go-to boba milk tea option for the past year. The tea is strong with this one…read more The Drinks: -Have tried at least half of their menu (my partner often picks up drinks here after cycling), repeating my favorites drinks. I haven't had a drink here that has an unpleasant flavor yet. -Can adjust sweetness and/or ice levels. I like how I can get Asian sweet at the 25-50% sweetness level (diff adjustment depends on flavor). -They brew their tea strong you can actually really taste it without it being bitter. -I like how they add real taro and purple potato paste here in those drinks The Space: Limited seating. A good temporary place to remote work from during the day. It's comfortable enough to sit and talk for a bit but not cozy enough to spend too long at. The Service: Staff are welcoming and doesn't mind answering questions. They were super helpful and accommodating when I ordered boba tea for my wedding. Extra: They do catering orders (krak bags, toppings, cups, straws) for select flavors. Pick up only though due to their small staff. I ordered two boba teas for my wedding and pick up was easy with no issues.

There's not a lot of people out and about in the AM and it's really nice to walk around the area. I hadn't heard of this boba before (I didn't even know they had multiple locations). The signature drinks all looked amazing. Our favorite was the Taro Ocean. Each time we visited, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The drink was delicious, refreshing, and sweet but not too sweet. Tip: if you sign up for their loyalty program you can get a BOGO! If we're back visiting the area, we'll definitely be stopping by again!

This is a new boba shop on Pearl. There are not too many in Boulder so a new one is nice. It is…read morestill in the soft opening stage in the snow of winter. They are apparently planning a grand opening when summer arrives. I had seen it when eating on the west end of Pearl, just east of the new expanded Hapa sushi that took over the space of two that closed in the pandemic. This space is part of one that closed. I looked through the menu and found a fruit tea that has no caffeine, a choice I medically need. It is winter melon and it seems good for today, snow on the ground but not cold or windy. I ordered it with boba and they were so fresh and soft. Perfect. When I asked for it at a lower sweetness that was on the wall poster, the staff member informed me they actually do not have control of this other than diluting it. So that is what I had her do. It still tasted great and not too sweet but it does dilute it some. Other shops apparently use a separate sweetening syrup rather a premixed solution. As another Yelp review mentioned, it is very small inside with one wall with a bench to sit for a short time. It's actually quite pretty though and the staff efficient and friendly. I am giving it a 5 because only the sweetness was a small issue but it's really a 4.5 until they expand options. So glad to have them on Pearl in such a popular block. Though it is only Winter Melon that cannot be altered this way. Other teas can be easily customized.

We had taken visitors to Flatiron Crossing to give an 8 year old an option to look for a vacation…read moretreat. As we browsed around we all decided a boba treat was wanted. I had seen this one on Yelp as it was nearby in the food court. As we placed our orders, we discovered the lowest amount of sugar customization was 50%. We all were typically ordering at home at 25% but as it turned out, this shop uses a different scale of sweetness so we were all fine. I had my lychee iced teas with boba , another had mango and the third had a milk tea of some sort. All were good and if back in the mall would do it again. They have another location on South Boulder Rd in Lafayette under a slightly different name. Staff or owner was friendly and helpful and the other who made the drinks was quick and accurate. I would have enjoyed a larger menu as my local choice has, but for a mall kiosk, it was ok.

Dream on... While…read morewalking about the Flatiron Crossing Mall, Emily mentioned how she wanted some chocolate ice cream. We ended up in the food court and saw this little boba tea station. I asked if she wanted some and she said yes. We walked up and stood there for like 3 minutes before the guy working the station turned around and looked at us. He was in the middle of making 3 drinks so I wasn't too upset about the wait but the gentleman didn't even acknowledge us standing there. He turned around, saw us, then went back to making drinks. It took him about 10 minutes to make the drinks but then promptly took our order with no enthusiasm or care. I ended up getting a coffee mocha milk tea with almond milk and Emily got something that struck her fancy. Without saying anything else, the guy turned around and started making our drinks. It was about 5 minutes later that they were ready and we grabbed our straws and sat down. This is the first boba place I've been to that isn't sealed. Dream Bubble Tea uses these domed lids that have panda ears on them. Adorable, if you ask me. The lack of customer service aside... this wasn't a good drink. That may have been my fault for getting it with almond milk instead but it was just a weird blend of mocha and almond that didn't mesh well at all. I did finish the drink but that was mostly due to trying to eat all the boba at the bottom. Without those, I could've tossed the drink and not missed it at all. While we sat there, drinking the boba, the guy just kept getting people coming up and ordering drinks. Emily and I honestly think the guy just hates the job or didn't want to be there as there was no enthusiasm in him helping the next few guests either. I feel bad for giving such a low score but since I do these based on my experience there, there's not much I can do to sugarcoat or try and overlook things. Poor customer service with a disappointing drink (again, that might be my bad) is just how my experience went. Never let mine (or someone else's) rating dissuade you from going. You may go and have the best drink of your life.
