A pretty average milktea experience at this franchise location. I was disappointed since I've been to another location where I really enjoyed the drinks, which were made with fresh taro and tea. Drinks here were overly sweetened (even with me asking for 50% sweetness) and my taro drink did not have any of the starchiness that you'd expect from real taro. Employees really did not seem like they wanted to be there. Seating area is small and barebones with trash littered over the tables even though there was only one other person there besides us. As an avid fan of boba from the west coast side, I say this place is definitely one of the better boba spots I have visited during my Denver trips :) Things to note: 1. Menu: Extensive options for types of drinks and toppings, including different types of brewed tea. For me, if a place has variety, unique and/or traditional options for tea, it's usually a good sign. 2. Quality: Ordered a Osmanthus Oolong Tea and Lychee Green Tea Slushie with Crystal boba, 70% sugar. Both drinks were the perfect sweetness and I love how you can taste the tea flavor in each one. Boba texture was chewy and sweet as well. 3. Cute handmade items: If you're like me, I love buying cute knick knacks from boba shops and got a cute boba keychain for $7. Nice quality too! I've been before and have always been surprised how much I liked the drink, but kept forgetting to rec this place when the buddies wana do a boba run This spot outdoes the chains in Denver that I normally like from the Bay Area, especially with the taro green milk tea that has taro paste. This unassuming tea shop in a strip mall in Westminster was the bomb dot com! I went in with two friends and got an Ube milk tea following their lead - the menu was extensive and fairly overwhelming for myself so next time I'll look ahead (so many different types of teas and styles, cold/hot, slushie style etc). The size was huge which worked well as it served as my lunch - it was fun to watch them make it and use their machine to seal it. The bobas at the bottom are always so fun to slurp up. Brand new location! I was ecstatic to find this place while visiting and searching for Asian cuisine. I didn't know about it at first, but this place had people coming and going the whole time we were dining next door. Their drinks were so colorful and I knew I needed to participate too. Tsaocaa is right next to hmart, so 90% of the time we're shopping at hmart, we're also getting boba. We've tried multiple places in the NW Denver suburb area and Tsaocaa is easily the best. I'm Taiwanese American and from the east coast, so I have a high standard for boba. This review is actually a 4.5 because the drink options are great and quality is good a majority of the time. What drops it a bit is having a couple of inconsistent experiences that have made some of our drinks subpar (too much milk or too much brown sugar, etc.), if that happens to you, try again, because they really are great most of the time. I always get the purple potato - they use real purple potato paste, the tea is strong, boba is cooked perfectly, and overall balance of flavors is great. My husband gets either the brown sugar w/ boba or the guava lime w/ jelly. If I didn't love the purple potato so much I would definitely try more of their fruit teas, they look so refreshing. If it's your first time ordering boba, know that you can customize almost all of the drinks with different levels of sugar and ice. I'm a person who doesn't like things too sweet and wants to taste the tea and 30% sugar is perfect. read more

Back again and they still have exceptional boba and jelly drinks, which is hard to find around here. The first time, I mistakenly walked in before they opened officially in the beginning of August. They were so nice and offered to give us drinks for free. We refused since we want their business to survive and stay put. Plus, the drinks were solid. Here's what I've tried so far: -Purple potato bubble milk - real mushed up purple potatoes. Lightly sweet. Chewy boba. -Taro bubble milk - Real taro chunks. Sweetness is perfect - not too sweet, not too watery. Again, boba's chewy, cooked through, and not gooey. -Mango yogurt milk - So refreshing with a true mango flavor and creamy. -Lychee yogurt milk - Same for this one. True lychee flavor with shreds of lychee mixed in and a generous amount of jelly. -Brown sugar boba milk tea - Asked for half sugar so it's not too decadent like Tiger Sugar's brown sugar milk tea. They have a good sense of making it the Asian sweetness I need. Boba's chewy (It seems they're consistent here with each boba batch) Other: Lots of space inside with minimal seating. The matcha tasted like it was mixed with stale water and I threw it out after a few sips. My partner tried to keep drinking his brown sugar milk tea, but decided to chuck it as well as it just tasted like sugar milk. Unsure if there was any actual tea in that drink (refer to picture, it's basically just milk colored). I don't usually give one star reviews and I'm disappointed since this place was so highly reviewed and we drove 30 minutes out of our way to get some boba since we were craving it but it was just....bad. I have not tried this chain before, but since I was in the area I thought I'd drop by. I had the grapefruit peach tea and the peach oolong milk tea. I would pass on the peach oolong milk tea. It had a different after taste. The texture of the milk tea itself was very creamy and mimicked tiger sugars, but not quite. The grapefruit peach tea is where it's at. I didn't decrease the sugar and it was perfect because of the natural tartness of the grapefruit. I highly recommend this tea if you like something not too sweet, but refreshing. Next time I go, I'll probably stick to the fruit teas. read more

So happy that there's more bubble tea options in Arvada! This place has solid drinks. A bit pricey though. They are a chain and seem to serve food in some of their other locations, but I don't think they serve food at this location yet. The inside is plain - mostly white walls. Only a few small tables inside, so i wouldn't expect to come here to chill with a large group or anything. They have a pretty large drink menu. So far my favorites are: - BROWN SUGAR MILK TEA - Milk tea but extra sweet with the brown sugar. If you're a fan of sweet drinks, this is SO good. - MANGO YOGURT - the drink i got didn't look anything like the one in the picture. The picture seemed to show chunks of mango, which my drink didn't have. It's tart from the yogurt and then a bit sweet from the mango flavor. It's not a flavor I'm familiar with so it was weird at first but after a few sips, I ended up really liking it. Would order it again - PURPLE POTATO MILK TEA - pass on this, it's not good. It's not ube or taro or anything. It's milk tea with chunks of this bland potato bits. They milk tea itself was not sweet at all, also bland even though I got 100% sugar level. Thank GAWD there is now a true 5 star boba tea store in the Westminster/Broomfield area. The 2 major chains I was patrolling on a regular basis slowly went downhill in terms of quality and customer service. Love that this place is in the H Mart shopping center as the place needed a decent boba shop (I don't count the nasty juice bar inside H Mart as a boba tea shop). I ordered the purple potato milk tea HOT since it was a chilly December day. It was made with real vegetable (Ube), purple rice, and perfectly cooked boba. On the boba barista's suggestion I ordered it at 70% sweetness. Oh my, my socks were blown off. Super delicious and I would go back every week. Don't be turned off that the prices are $1-2 more than other boba places. The portions are larger and the drinks are made from fresh ingredients as opposed to powders. Its worth the extra splurge and definitely try out a warm boba during the colder months. This shop doesn't skimp on the toppings either!! read more

On my quick trip to Denver, I decided to stop here after having some amazing two sticks. Please was definitely tasty. I love that you can pick your sweetness levels and ice levels on certain drinks. Some drinks do come in one size only. Fantastic selection of milk to use, fruit slushy's, and carbonated Mojito like drinks but without the alcohol.
