Emory Plumbing came from a recommendation of our HOA president. It was not easy finding folks who were willing to work within condo's and HOA (even though our is pretty chill) The technicians had previous experience with the age and the plumbing setup for the units which allowed them to focus on the work vice spending hours trying to get water shutoff etc. They got to work quick and able to identify issue and provide quick work arounds while parts where ordered. Only issue I had was with the follow up if and when the parts arrived and scheduling follow up. I had to call a couple weeks after and follow up, but once on the phone got the work scheduled pretty quick and easy. Value for the work was great. No wasted hours or charges and I appreciate that. A few days ago our bathtub in the guest bathroom started draining VERY slowly. We tried to snake it ourselves but had no luck. Had a neighborhood plumber come out again, no luck. The receptionist was friendly, but after the technician went to the condo I never got a phone call with what happened, I had to call and ask what was going on. I had also said that there were issues with the garbage disposal but the technician didn't bring one so they had to return another day, a week or so later. I would leave zero stars if I could. They lied about the price, never returned our calls regarding the inflated bill. They ALWAYS need to go get a tool and then charge you for the time they are gone. They pulled that crap on us several times. They chipped my sink. I believe they work a scheme to get the most out of you for the least amount of work. Their quality of work is wonderful, their technicians very friendly and knowledgeable, their pricing is fair - and all of that deserves a 5 star rating, The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because at least twice I called about what I needed done and was told the service department would call me back. But that didn't happen and I had to follow up with a 2nd call. One time, after a 2nd call, I was given a date and told they would let me know the day of the service about what time they would be here. When no one showed up or called I called again and was told that it had been written down for the following day. Even with all of this I would highly recommend them and use them again. Unfortunately wasn't a great experience with Emory Plumbing. After they just didn't show up during the original scheduled time, we set another time later in the week. They then showed up late to that slot. When I got the bill they had overcharged on multiple items (said they were there for longer than they were, charged more per hour than they originally shared the cost per hour was, and charged me more for an expensive part than they told me it costs on the job site). After numerous attempts to ameliorate these issues, they corrected two out of three of the overcharges, but refused to correct a third instance. The plumbing work did get done but the process was frustrating on multiple levels - scheduling, communication, multiple efforts to correcting multiple mistakes on the bill. read more

The plumbers do a great job, educating, fixing and helping. What causes them to have a bad score is their Office. They are not organized and dont have good processes in place. Every time at a 100% ratio, when I've called in they say they will call you back. They never do. 0 out of 6 times they tell me they are going to give me a call back but dont. I wait for an hour or so then I always have to call back and I can tell in their voice their forgot. I even mentioned it one time and the office associate said OH it must have been my colleague that you talked to, then that same lady says she would call back and of course fails to do so. Just do your job please? Have a process in place? Get organized. read more

Just WOW! They showed up the next morning and even offered a service for the previous day but were honest on the pricing. Not only did they do the job, they offered two choices and made sure both options were available and we had all the info before moving forward. Within an hour they fixed, what looked to be an impossible pipe burst. They have a temporary gig for us now to provide our home with water while they get the rest ofnthe project together to wither finish the way we originally planned or stay with the new fix that they provided.
