Absolutamente delicioso. Aquí vuelvo, si que si read more

Girl was pretty mean. Got the order wrong said it was gonna be a 10 minute wait ended up being 30 and the food was greasy and bad

Service was great, the lady taking my order was so sweet even with the language barrier. My order was right so that's all that matters. Food was fantastic. Even after a 45 min drive home my fried fish and empanadas were still a bit crispy. The beef empanada was absolute fave!! The plantains were a bit burnt but still hit the spot. The green sauce... to die for! First time having an arepa so I don't know what to compare it to, but it was good! Overall, I'll see be back if I'm the area. read more

Some of the best Colombian food on this side of town. Bunelos are good despite being store bought. Arepa de desebrada is amazing and packed with meat. They do not skimp on the meat. Tequenos which are essentially mozzarella sticks are a bit bland but good. The empanadas de carne are aa must try. Overall pretty solid place. The location can be easy to miss as it is in a car lot. Still a must try if you're in the area and looking for Colombian food. read more

First, don't expect fast service. They are in absolutely no rush, to serve you, or bring your food. The food takes awhile. My son got his arroz con pollo, then my food came waay later after we first ordered, even the best restaurants in town don't take remotely this long. I don't mind waiting, if you tell me it will be a wait and leave it to us if we want to wait. No orders in front of us either. Second,l I visited here years ago, and the gentleman and lady that ran it and made our food, were cheerful, smiling and overall gave you a warm vibe. I wish I had started reviewing back then. This time, we got a dirty look, like we felt kinda we were bothering the ladies cooking. Red flag right. Well while we waited and waited, there were saws cutting lumber literally right behind us working. I mean right at our backs. I saw the hours of operation, why could this not be done during the hours it was closed? All this, and I was ready to slam this place. Well...dang it...the food was amazing!! I would have so many health issues if I ate this everyday, but man it was great. There was this sour vinegar like hot sauce that we absolutely loved! We couldn't get enough of it. The bandeja paisa was absolutely amazing. It's simple but very well executed. This is normal food apparently. Wow! One of my gripes with a lot of San Antonio area establishments that serve chicharron is it's either to hard or tastes burnt. This one was perfect! My son had the arroz con pollo. He was taken a back at the look. He is adventurous so he gave it a try. He loved it. One of his fav rices ever. It looks randomly thrown together, but it works. With that sauce we put on everything, it was so flavorful. I had to knock it for the service and issues, but we will be back!!! read more

The food was incredible and the woman who runs it is so sweet and accommodating. The plantains are to die for and I do dream about them. The ambiance is very welcoming especially with the owner's demeanor. Will be going back more! read more

Natural fruit juice is delicious, I loved the beef and potato empanadas. I wish I knew about this little place earlier.

Well, it was just fine . The beans are not good, they were cold and mushy. The rice was the wrong type of rice, not sure why they would use basmati rice for Colombian food. The carne on the Paiso plate was tough and hard to chew. The egg was overcooked. The beef and papa empanadas were good just didn't expect it to be made with ground beef. The chicharron was ok, the meat sections were tasty but it needed to be cooked much more to make it crispy. Will not return. read more

The place was solid, food took awhile to be made, but it was worth it because it was really good. The tostones and meat were fresh and juicy. The empanadas were very good and PACKED with meat so you're getting your bang for your buck. Not really much parking and easy to miss when trying to find it. The seating area was nice though it had Colombian colors read more

Man this place is the hidden gem of all hidden gems! I'll admit up front I love arepas, and most places don't have Colombian food. My wife has never had Columbia's food at all, so she didn't know what to expect. The arepas are like small sandwiches and the dough is thicker than a tortilla. The carne was both of our absolute favorite. If you're looking for this place, it located in the parking lot of an auto repair place. We really liked this place, and we'll be back. read more

Parking is a bit tight, the food takes a little time, but it is all worth it! The arepas were delicious

True to it's word, Empanadas y Arepas JOVI serves up authentic Colombian flavor. The menu is based around the namesake with different arepa and empanada options. $3 gets you a hefty Rellena de Queso and a few dollars more generous servings of chicken, pork, or beef. The truly special flavors can be found in items like the perro caliente or morcilla. Colombian hot dogs come stacked with crushed potato chips, crushed pineapple, mustard, and salsa rosada. Several unique drinks complete the experience. Jugos naturales are everywhere in this city, but rare is the occasion where you can taste maracuya (passion fruit), guanabana, or lulo which has a flavor somewhere between kiwi and citrus and is very refreshing. read more

Everything I've tried so far from here is delicious. Both the empanadas and arepas are stuffed with hearty filling. The empanada has a crunchy cornmeal crust, while the arepas are soft but have a slight crisp sear. I personally thought the meat/potato empanada was better than the chicken empanada because the chicken was a bit dry and stringy, while the meat/potato mixture was perfectly moist. The ham and pineapple arepa tasted okay, but the pineapple caused the arepa to be a little bit soggy. I probably wouldn't get this one again. The shredded meat arepa was topped with a quail egg, with the meat itself being juicy and well-seasoned. The chorizo arepa was filled generously with chorizo, but the taste of the chorizo wasn't anything special and didn't really impress me. Finally the morcilla was a nice surprise. I love trying blood sausages from various cultures, so I wanted to give this one a try too. The casing has a crisp bite, while the sausage mixture has a mellow taste. I will most definitely be back for more empanadas and to try the other arepas and sides. read more

Juli is THE place to get authentic Colombian food, without having to pay an incredible amount for the same amount of food at some other Colombian restaurants here in San Antonio. Not only do they have great curbside cuisine, but Juli y Familia deliver to your home as well. This has now become a family favorite where we dine a couple times each month. Take it from me, my wife is Barranquillera... She know Colombian chow like no other. When she says it is authentic.... It IS authentic. read more

No decepcionado. read more

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! We ordered a little bit of everything. I don't even remember the names, but we got the hot dog, queso, and two other things. Also the lemonade is awesome. Honestly I wish we could have tried the entire menu. The customer service was excellent and the owners are super sweet. We will definitely be returning!!! read more

Freaking AMAZING! I came to take my Tia to try Colombian food for the first time and she loved it! I got the Picada and She got the Bandeja Paisa along with a Colombiana, it was really good. The waiter that took out Oder for us was very kind and the food did not take so long. And the outside and environment here is very beautiful especially at night! Definitely would recommend and try this! Don't sleep on it! read more

So super tiny food truck/trailer with a big hospitality heart. The empanadas were outstanding (both chicken and beef). The dipping sauce was flavorful without too much heat or overbearing flavor. Fruit drinks were very good and fresh tasting. Amazingly friendly and accommodating staff to some pretty over the top Gringos. Will surely be back for more awesome food. So good. read more

I had been wanting to try this place as I kept passing it by. Columbian food was very tasting. The mini empanadas were filled well and had great flavor. They are offered in chicken or beef. The plantains were so yummy. Nice and golden bronzed. Also tried this cheesy something that was gooey and filling. Great food truck stand to try out. They were quick and friendly. I placed my order and they brought to my vehicle. They also have outdoor picnic tables to sit. read more

Las empanadas más ricas que e probado!! maravillosa hospitalidad gracias servicio #1 !!!!

This place is amazing. As a Colombian it's always rewarding finding a little spot where you can find good Colombian street food. I recommend the empanadas, arepas, chorizo, morcilla and the perro caliente. Try arepa de huevo, originally from the small town of Luruaco in the department of Atlántico, northern Colombia (where I am from). Very good prices and the owner is very courteous and nice. read more
