I have come here a number of times and know that I shouldn't expect incredible service or quality for the price paid, however today's service and quality was so low that I will not return. I arrived a bit early at 11:20am and entered to find all of the chaffing dishes empty, with the exception of the fried foods. I asked the girl who came to serve me how long until the chicken and broccoli would be up. She replied that it would be 10 minutes. I needed to go to CVS anyway so I said that I would return. 15-20 minutes later I returned and noticed that the chicken and broccoli was still not put out. When I was seated I was told it would be out shortly. They also took my drink order, iced tea. After two small plate trips to the buffet the chicken and broccoli was still not up and my drink was still not delivered. When my "iced" tea was finally delivered it had remnants of ice cubes and was room temperature. The chicken and broccoli was finally put out (thus the reason I'm not awarding one star). The food wasn't bad, as usual. The final straw was that the waitress out a coke as my beverage which was inaccurate. It's been a hoot! Outside it looks a little dated, but inside and the food is good Not the biggest buffet, but not the smallest. Everything seemed fresh and hot on the buffet. The price was reasonable with adult dinner under $12. The staff was attentive for a buffet and very pleasant. They don't have a Mongolian grill or any gimmicks like that, but you can find just about anything you may like on the buffet. They have a good assortment of seafood to choose from, a thing I appreciate in a buffet. They also have items like pizza for kids and other fussy eaters. The food tasted old and was not very hot. The entire buffet was mislabeled and the guards were dirty. All of the seafood dishes tasted overly fishy and the chicken was full of connective tissue. The crab rangoon was pretty good but that was all. Will not be going back. read more

This review is about the all you can eat buffet which you can dine in or takeout. My to go Chinese place for about a year now. The Buffet is 7.99 before 4 pm. I do mostly takeout. Takeout is 4.99 a lb everyday before 3:45 pm and after is 5.99 which is not bad. So at the entrance by the register grab a container and get to it. Not a lot of shrimp here which is ok cause in allergic to it. They don't serve scallops on the buffet. They have a sushi bar with pre rolled sushi which is nice, however no tuna or salmon, it's mostly composed of a imitation crab meat, onion and cream cheese mix that I actually enjoy. The crab ragons are good here, so are we the wings. They always have at least 3 different kind of chicken wings and 3 Rice (plain, pork fried and mixed with peas). General tso chicken is good almost always tender, so is the sesame chicken. I haven't tried the soups. For the kids they always have garlic bread, chicken fingers, pizza, french fries and a "chicken ball" that is pretty damn good. Avoid the nuggets. They always have boneless ribs but they are not always tender. I like their fried noodles too. The food is good and well worth it if you know what you're looking for. If you're dinning in and need s knife (for some reason they only give you a fork and spoon) they are by the ice cream in the back of the restaurant. The chopsticks are by the register next to the take out containers. Would give 5 stars if every person by the register didn't look at you as if they hate you. Even if you're in and out in 2 minutes, paying for your food feels like your are doing them a favor. I'm from Brazil and Chinese restaurants down there also do hate everyone else besides their own kind too, so I guess it's a cultural thing. Absolute best chinese food buffet I have ever been to. Used to be a regular here when I lived in Mendon, MA. The staff is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, and the food is incredible. I am not usually keen on buffets anyway, and I'm reminded why with this visit. Over half of the food I got was cold, and this was after stirring it around to ensure the hottest scoop I could get. If the health department came in here with a thermometer, they might get shut down. They had a ton of gross looking fried American food too and suspect sushi. Cheap and lots of variety. My family and I visited this place on this Easter Sunday. They have so many dishes, all arranged neatly. Stirfried dishes, fried rice/ noodle/rice noodle, soups, deep fried stuff, chicken wings, pastries, cakes and ice cream, sushi, crab legs, pizza, salad bar, fruits. I tried dark fried rice (there is white fried rice as well), lo mien, fried prawns in mayonnaise, clams, beef n capsicum, beef teriyaki. My husband tried the sushi and crab legs, hot and sour soup, and a slice of cake. My daughter had pizza, sushi, stir fried clams. There are still so many other dishes that we didn't get to try... I like the various Chinese stir fries, the dark fried rice and the lo mien best. The sushi rice was hard. The pizza is not as nice as that of Domino's. My daughter didn't like the pizza, and chose to eat more of stir fried clams. read more

Excellent variety of dishes (fish, chinese specialties, mongolian style, appetizers and desserts). Also some American kid favorites (nuggets, chicken strips, fries, pizza). Take my grandkids here for a treat and it always is a hit - they and I are now doing the sushi offerings. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I've had no issues with the food quality or temperature. My parents and I come here 2-3 times per month, the price and selection can't be beat! Today I had a slice of pizza, spare ribs, sushi, lo mien, chicken wings, shrimp and veggies, bacon wrapped hot dogs, a slice of ham, pasta salad, won ton soup, ice cream, chocolate cake, pineapples and bananas in cherry sauce! If I could give less than one star, I would. Me, my wife and our friend went out and wanted a Chinese buffet. We came here and we went up to get our food and it LOOKED like it was hot because of all the steam under the lights. When we sat down and started eating my Lo mein was cold, the bread was hard as rock, so we thought ok we will get something different next plate. Above average all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet, with a pretty good selection. I have a personal craving for the Pepper Chicken, and Mrs. P considers the Crab Rangoon the best anywhere. The dining room gets noisy, and the tables feel small but the prices are very reasonable and it's great for kids. As with any buffet, some of the items (especially the American selections) are of questionable quality. But here's an unusual tip -- try to go when they are busy. This place has a decent selection, however their food is far from fresh. Everytime I go in there, I find their food cold and sometimes even gelled over on top. They do actually seem to do very well and are always packed, but it's probably due to the fact that it's only one of two Chinese buffets in the area, and the other one is best known for its food poisoning skills. I do have a difficult time understanding how such a busy place still manages to have such cold and unfresh food. I was having a bad day, and my boyfriend had visited this buffet before, and raved about their chicken, so I decided to treat us. Never again, here's why: We arrived, and had to wait a few minutes to be seated. We were there around 245pm, and the lunch buffet was done at 345pm. We grabbed our first plates of food, sat down, and dug in. My boyfriend had some chicken wings, french fries, and some pork fried rice. He stated that the fries were cold, and to the touch, they were. He also said his wings were lukewarm, but still good. He was satisfied with the rice. My meal was some pork fried rice, a spring roll, an egg roll, and some general tsos chicken. The rice was flavorless, so I added some kikkoman soy sauce, and it has definitely been around for quite some time. It had a very spoiled taste that I wish to never taste again. I sampled some broccoli and dumplings on another plate, the only bad thing here was the dumplings were cold. This was not the end of the bad visit, and here is where the one star rating comes in. I realised a few hours later that the waitress never gave me my debit card back. I say this because usually when you receive your bill in a little black tray, your card is on top, your bill underneathe. I didn't think anything of it, signed, tipped, and left. I figured it out hours later, and called the business. I returned to pick up my card, and the hostess just handed it over, didn't even get off of her phone call to check to see if I was REALLY the owner of the card. I just slowly looked at her, and a minute or so later, just walked away. I am glad I showed up when I did, because there was another card where mine was, and what was to say she wouldn't have given my card to someone else? I am appalled at their security measures, the fact that a lot of their food is cold (which can make people sick), and that I'm pretty sure I got overcharged. This place went from the best buffet to the worst. Let me start off with the nail in the coffin being they no longer serve Pepsi products, they switched to Coke. I absolutely loved getting Mountain Dew here. Their Mountain Dew tasted better than it did at other restaurants and not a lot of restaurants have Mountain Dew. I've been coming here all my life. I really liked this buffet and looked forward to coming here everytime. I just went a couple weeks ago and everything was terrible. My favorite food here was the coconut shrimp. This past visit it tasted funny and was way overcooked. The thin white noodles are bland and chewy now. Also they have different items on the buffet too. The only thing I liked was the buttery clams and buttery potatoes. Most of the food here is gross now. I think they changed owners because all the staff doesn't look familiar and they changed the food and drinks. I'm not coming back here. I'll just continue going to Sky in Milford, MA. read more
