I wouldn't say it was the absolute best I've ever had, but it's right up there with some of the better spots around. The building itself is actually really nice -- modern, clean, and well put together. My only real gripe is the atmosphere felt a little too dark because of all the bamboo shades covering the windows. I get the vibe they're going for, but honestly, North Smithfield isn't exactly Times Square... I'd rather be able to see outside than stare at covered windows. Lightening it up a bit would really improve the dining experience. Drinks were just okay -- a bit of a letdown that they don't carry Coke products, but not a dealbreaker. Overall, a great lunch spot with quality sushi, nice presentation, and a cool space -- just a couple small tweaks away from being even better. I'd definitely come back.

I was with my sister and her husband who were long done by now with regular menu choices and i wouldn't ask them to stay longer to wait for me to get more sushi. This cost $33. I already have a go to spot in RI for orange chicken and not many other places I've been, have been on par with my go to spot. Fortune house is now one of those places that rivals my go to orange chicken spot! I also love the relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The mood lighting, the relaxing music playing throughout the restaurant. The seats are some of the softest and comfiest I've ever sat in, in any restaurant. I also would like to mention they have one of those classic moving waterfall pictures in the entry way. I always love seeing those. I do wish our server did come by once more to refill my water, as the delicious orange chicken had a kick to it haha. Other than that, this is a solid Chinese restaurant and I will be coming back!
