Convenient, close, great staff and good location. I've been through this car wash several times wanting to like it each and every time. I drive a full size pickup. This automatic car wash doesn't seem to do the best of jobs. Prior to entering the car wash tunnel you choose which level of service you want, the staff push in mirrors and may ask to remove your antenna to help reduce any chance of damage and then they spray your vehicle down. You are then pushed through the wash. When you reach the end there is a blower system that dries your car but, you are still left with a considerable amount (each of the times I've gone anyways) of water on your vehicle. Many similar car washes I've been to have a person or two at the end to hand dry your car even with similar blower drying systems. I have a feeling I'll be back to give it one more go. read more

Love this car wash! It is handy, easy to use, provides towels for wiping down dash, seats and inside the doors. Vacuum hose for each side of car so you don't have to crawl through. I join the monthly rate so I can go wherever I want and don't have to worry if it is going to rain or I am driving on gravel road for a hike. Love a clean car!! read more

Also, if you don't tip they don't seem to "prewash" the car very well. They indicate a tip by ringing the bell. I shouldn't have to pay extra for them to do the job I paid them to do. I want to tip because it was a job well done! read more

Great car wash business. Super easy access from 3rd street or the Parkway. My favorite part is the free high powered vacuums to get at the inside of my vehicle after the wash. Nice little parking area at the vacuums with a garbage can and a supply of towels to dry your whip or get at those hard to reach place. read more

Great service, price and location. They always put effort into spraying down and brushing off your car before it goes into the wash to get harder to clean areas. Free vacuums work well and there's rarely a wait. read more

I've been to this car wash quite a few times since it opened as it is close to my work and it was pretty good. This time, the car stopped part way through. The techs had me put it in drive and drive it through the rest of the way as they held the equipment out of the way. In the end, they apologized for the "bumpy ride", but assured me that though I would have to dry the car myself as the dryer nozzles had stopped, the car was clean. I drove off the lot and then stopped to look at the car. The right side and the back was still very dirty. I went back and they agreed to upgrade the wash and put it through again. One would think that they would pay attention to the details the second time, but no such luck. The right side was a bit cleaner, but there was no improvement on the back. I gave up, went back to work and got lots of wet paper towels and finished the job. No third chance. read more

Paid for The Works with tip, got an express, car was not clean. Bugs on the windshield and back of mirrors. Front of car still had dirt on it. The only thing that was good was the vacuum. I will never go there again. I suggest you don't either!! read more

The automated machine does an okay average job... Don't bother tipping the guys that do the hand part for a little extra love though - cause you won't get it... Pretty much a lazy crew there... read more

Used to be pretty good, but getting worse with their customer service. Seldom get the car really clean. If you need the growler discount, go for it. But there are better car washes in town if your looking for a good job, and a pleasant experience. read more

Pretty darn good car wash. You vacuum your own car at no extra cost. The guys there pre-wash your car before it goes through the wash, so they get those hard to get off bugs on the windows and bumpers. Overall great experience and I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes to get into the wash. My wife and I go to this place regularly. read more

I regularly have my car washed here and am happy with the system and the staff is very friendly and quick. Today after I had my car washed, as I was drying it off a bit, I looked at my headlight covers and they looked very cloudy. I knew they were bad but today it really bugged me. Empire car wash has a detail shop as well so I walked over and ask the employee there if he had an idea of what I could do about my headlights. He walked over, took a look and mentioned that there are headlights restoring kits you can buy. I told him I have tried them to no great improvement. To my surprise he offered to take it into his detail shop and buff them for me. What a delight! I was, however, somewhat skeptical as my car is 11 years old and the plastic was really bad. After using a buffer and two kinds of paste, my headlights look NEW! This took him all of about 8 minutes. Talk about great customer service. I will absolutely take my car in for a full detail there sometime soon. read more

I have used Empire Car Wash for years. They have always provided good service until there most recent upgrade? It's mostly bells and whistles. The worst of it is their air blowers that leave bubbles of water on the finish and windows! The good? part is they have a monthly plan, three in fact. It could be useful especially here in the Central Oregon High Desert where as soon as you wash your car it's dirty again with all the pollen, dust, and ash from wild fires but will you go everyday or every other day to wait in line to get your car wash. Also, they say they reuse the water which is a good thing here in the High Desert! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! first off... pulled up to the booth. waited for realistically 1.5 minutes, started to pull forward when i noticed a group of teenage workers standing laughing. once i pulled forward one of them came over and i was able to pay. the other kids did a half ass job with their scrubbers. my car is still dirty. when going through i heard a loud POP. i thought something hit my car. when i got out i pulled over to inspect. my rear bumper had been ripped off! i have a 2006 Scion XB with plastic ground effex. i found an employee who went to get his manager. manager came out and proceeded to tell me my bumper looked like it has "seen better days" as if there was prior damage. granted it's plastic and has some signs of road wear, but i've never had an issue in the 10+ years i've owned it. he told me the clips get worn out and there's nothing he could do. he got some zip ties and zipped it back together. no apology, no refund or offer to make it right... nothing. now i have a still dirty car and a broken bumper. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and will never go here again. ZERO STARS. be warned. read more

Holy cow what a lousy car wash! $10 and the pickup is still dirty. Tailgate, not cleaned. Front end, not cleaned. Big stripe of dirt down the entire drivers side. And to top it off, a piece of the cloth washing material was stuck in the grille! I won't go back. read more

I used to use Empire Car Wash all the time. Over the past year their service has declined - my car is left with dirt marks - even if I tip the guys at the entrance to get a little extra help getting the car clean. The facility was closed on and off while they upgraded (I think that was why), and I could never find them open when I drove by. Too much hassle and not enough clean. I'm done and won't be going back. read more

Very average place. There was still some dirt low on my side panels, bugs on my grille and smudges still on the windshield. Cool that you can get beer here though and the prices on car washes is very good. read more

AVOID at all costs. Horrible customer service! After pointing out that the entire passenger side of my truck was missed, and the drivers side was pushing on it so hard that it was rocking my truck. Pre was was an absolute joke, a quick spray of water and into the wash it went. I asked for a partial refund rather than risking going back thru and was given attitude and a brush off. Absolute best car wash in town! Maybe the only one in the country with a growler station . Gorilla Growlers located inside the car wash has 35 taps with great handcrafted beer and kombucha. You can have a pint of great beer while waiting on your car or fill your growler to go!! Way cool!!! read more

Right before Christmas I took my new truck to Empire Carwash for a detail. I was told it would take all day and the price was $250. Soon after dropping it off I was called and told that they couldn't remove water spots until doing Spring so I asked them to focus on the wheels and other trim. Right before 3 pm I was called to pick up my truck. Only 5 hours later. I got there around 4 and it was dark so the truck looked pretty good. Getting in the truck I noticed right away the pedal and floor mats were soaked in Armor All. It was so bad that my foot slipped off of the brake pedal and could have caused an accident. It was the next morning, in daylight that the real issues were seen. Wheels were still stained, mud flaps soaked with Armor and not cleaned, bumpers still dirty, visors dirty and mirrors dirty. Some interior areas were so dirty that I couldn't see what the buttons were for. The top didn't even have wax! Here's the bottom line, I returned to Empire and showed the issues to the manager and asked for a refund. He said that he had to talk to the owner and noted "You did drive off of the lot and we don't know where you went since then" I asked for them to do what was right and honest. I called again still haven't heard back. I guess honest isn't in their policy. So if you want to pay a lot for a half clean car that is loaded with Armor All to cover the dirt shop at Empire. If not, I recommend going elsewhere or doing it yourself. Doing the right thing shouldn't be so hard. read more

When I got home after having my car washed at Empire, I noticed that there were spots of some kind of chemical all over my car, eating away at the finish. I immediately took it to a body shop, and they confirmed that there was something eating away at the paint, and that it would need to be buffed out asap. Estimate was $250. minimum. So, I took the car back out the Empire to show them, and after much discussion, it was determined that whatever the chemical was, it didn't come from their car wash. Maybe it was on the road, or sprayed up from a car in front of me on the road.... who knows. Anyway, even though I was quite convinced it wasn't their carwash that did the damage, they did offer to buff out my car for free - saving me at least $250. I then took it back later for a detail of the inside and they did a great job. I go there now for all my car washes, and recommend them all the time. Nice peeps there, for sure! read more
