When I went back to the property 3 days later I found out the electric had been shut off! Which in turn shut off our boilers for heat, and it was 40* in the house! When I called the electric company to get it turned back on the told me Twin City hadn't had their work inspected from the town so we could not get it turned back on. I called the owner Mike Friday and Saturday with NO response, finally on Sunday when I left and irate voicemail he called back and came to the house and said it was an oversight by his office... instead of appropriately fixing the problem, he ILLEGALLY cut off the lock out tag from National Grid, and asked us to keep it quiet. We had over $5500.00 in damages that our insurance claim denied because the service had been turned off due to the negligence of Mike Murphy and his company. While we were doing repairs and working with our insurance, Mr Murphy claimed it was his error, asked our deductible so he could cover it and said if insurance denied our claim he would work it out with us. Once we let him rectify the illegal work he did and get the town inspection, we never heard from him again. Our attorney sent him a letter with the charges and he is now claiming WE were responsible for the inspection! I understand it was an oversight not to get the inspection done, but it was his responsibility and that caused major damage at our property! He is untruthful, unethical, and we will be moving forward with a lawsuit. I hope his conscious will kick in and he will rectify the situation!

For a recent project I had called ten different companies, four called me back, three gave me quotes, one quote was insanely expensive for a simple job. The other was very cheap, yet day by day, "oh, we got busy see you tomorrow." Ummmmm. No. I work. Twin City gave me an estimate, when they said they would. Cost was more than reasonable and the crew came on time and was more than personable. Great owner and company.

What a RIP OFF , feel like its a very high price for such a small job... Id encourage any one to shop around, get prices first,, hire a home handyman or even DYI . If that's a fair price, Im a Chef and would charge him $60 labor to cook his $40 steak. I have more work to be done, I can say I won't be calling Heim for the work. Im not about to pay $75 to install a $40 light fixture .. If I cant find someone to do the job at a price that's fair, im going to not replace the light fixture and will leave it for whomever buys my condo from me , and will happily look at an ugly but functioning light fixture.

Sometimes when the next generation (the third here), takes over a business there is a drop in service. Not here! Mike is very conscientious and thorough. While a previous reviewer thought the work was too pricey, I believe you get what you pay for and my job was not something I would have relegated to a non-electrician. Mike arranged for the digging of the trench, buried utility line location, city inspector, and stump grinding. This was a full service project and I cant be more happy with the end result

Called MJM Sunday afternoon, they called back Monday morning, and we had someone on Tuesday at noon. They sent Tim out, who was awesome. Came in, gave it 2 looks, said he had to go back and get some supplies, and came back and banged it out - whole thing took maybe an hour. I didn't really care too much about cost at that point because my son was home from the hospital so the nursery was out of commission for the first day he was home but it was super reasonable to get fixed. Like to the point where i should have just called them to hang it originally. Plus there's some peace of mind from having a pro do it. Will definitely call MJM if I need electrical work in the future.

Bought them lunch. They didn't finish that day because of a bunch of reasons he told me (over sharers are normally lying). He is a squirrelly guy, lacks eye contact. So he tells me he needs more money to finish the job because it was more than he thought. When they come back the following day, I asked him to show me what was more than he thought. He freaks out storms out the house leaving some of his tools lol. Later texts me threats that I should be careful. I still have his tools they work great. Thanks Eric. You going to threaten the wrong guy and they going to go on the offensive one of these days. The next electrician, I hired new Eric, and he said that he used to bully people at another company he worked at and then he was a hot head.
