This was my first time getting Gel X, and Jenny did such a great job! She was incredibly nice and welcoming, and I was impressed by how quickly everything was done. I got a Gel X cat eye manicure and a regular pedicure and was finished in about an hour - easily the quickest nail appointment I've ever had! My only complaint was that the nail tech who did my pedicure, at the same time as my manicure, wasn't quite as detailed as Jenny. My big toenail wasn't filed evenly, so I wasn't completely happy with how it turned out, and there wasn't much exfoliation compared with other salons I've visited. Overall, though, I had a good experience and would definitely come back. The prices are great too! read more

What a gem! So glad we found them. I was able to book my appointment the night before (literally at like 10pm lol) for myself and my friend. It was super easy. The salon itself is gorgeous! Brand new interior design from the previous owner, with amazing chair massagers. The music is a fun remix track and the atmosphere in general is light and quiet - friendly but if you don't feel like chatting, you won't be pressured so it's very relaxing. I got a gel manicure and the green tea spa pedicure - highly recommend! They use this electric foot scrubber that is much less ticklish than manual. My feet are so smooth! Nothing compares to Dylan, Kevin and Tina who took care of me today. Their services were incredible. I got one of the spa pedicures for $55 and it was an hour and a half of pure bliss. Worth every penny. I was offered water walking in, I wasn't pressured to purchase anything extra (which I've experienced at a few other places in LA), everyone was SO friendly. It wasn't crowded, the music was really nice, I just cannot believe how thorough of a job they did. I'm a runner, so having that pedicure and massage is everything I needed. In a matter of seconds he chopped off all my toes nails and says they were broken! Rather than owning up to his mistake he looks right into my eyes and LIES about my nails being broken! Had been looking for a nail salon in the Hollywood area that was open past 6pm and one that didn't cost an arm and a leg for a gel-X mani and regular pedi with regular nail polish. Total cost for these services would have been well over $100 but thanks to the 20% discount from Kevin, my grand total was only $80. Props to Vincent who did such a good job on my feet they actually look like human feet again. Same with Kevin's job on my gel-X. It's almost been a week, and I'm happy to say the nails are holding up quite beautifully. They just opened 2 months ago, so the salon looks immaculately clean. I love that they are willing to do nail designs/foils and also are professional, they listen to the customer, if a nail is lifting they replace it, they don't allow you to leave, knowing a nail would break and waste your time making you come back to fix a nail. The technician are also smart enough to know after 5 or 6 fills the client needs a new full set. The technicians are highly skilled at different nail shapes. Very impressed with this salon and good customer service. This location also has a big parking lot, that is free to park in. I recommend this business. read more
