Don't go, don't bother, don't spend your time or money! By far, the worst and incomplete pedicure that I have ever had! I am over 60 and have had pedicures in San Diego, LA, San Francisco and New York and never have I been treated so poorly! Sat with my feet in lukewarm water and waited and ignored for 17 minutes. I asked that my toes nails be round -- they are square and too short. Handling handling my toes, they were pulled and held at painful angles -- even when I said Ouch! When doing the bottom of my feet, skipped the upper part of my foot and did the very briefly of attention to my heels. When doing the massage portion of a pedicure, the feet are a part and that was not done! Since the nail of big toes on my left foot has an odd shape, the polish was done poorly! And I could point out more but why bother! I am here for another three weeks and will be taking my business elsewhere! If I could leave negative stars, I would! And I did not leave a tip! read more

It's hard to believe that people who own this business is still in business. Very nasty hateful attitude towards my wife... after my wife told me how she was treated I almost wanted to come back to break someone's face. Attitude I was met when I dropped off my wife was whatever..I didn't think much of it. The only thing that weirded me out they wouldn't tell me how much they were gonna charge for the nails, but I'm used to spending a lot on my wife's hair and nails in LA, so when I looked around at this dump I didn't expect to be ripped off. So here is goes; 1. Wouldn't allow to pay with card, only wants cash 2. Wouldn't allow to use the restroom 3. Wouldn't turn on AC or fan 3. Said they could do Acrilic nails to me but when half way through with my wife they told her it's not available 4. My wife told me the dude who did her nails was one of most amateurish people she had ever had work on her 5. Complained to me extensively about how hard their lives are and bashed my wife on front of me. I had to tell her to go to the car. 6. Wanted $130 for manicure .. I didn't pay that and huge explosion started with these foreign people who can't even express exactly what the problems are because of their broken English. 7. My bridesmaids, mother, a friend and I went to Empire the day of our wedding. Three of us had only mani's and the rest of us had mani-pedis. They were able to get us in right away and were extremely nice. I chose nail polish on my toes and they look great! Everyone who did polish only loved their nails. When it came to my mani, I asked for polish only with gold sparkles as my nails are very thin and brittle and the last time I had gel done it really ruined my nails. The man (who I think was the owner?) stated the gel would last a lot longer and the polish-only would chip the next day. Seeing as it was the day of my wedding, I decided to treat myself and go with the gel since he recommended it for the look and the length of time the polish would stay on my nails. My gel manicure did look great the night of, even though he used silver sparkles rather than gold. I did not have enough time for him to re do them in gold and it was not that big of a deal to me. The next morning, three of my nails had gel bubbling and broken off. My wedding was last Friday and right now I have 5 nails still intact. I have not done any sort of work that would be hard on my nails so I am extremely disappointed and I definitely did not do anything to make them chip/bubble on my wedding day to make it happen either. Yet another reason I did not want gel. I have not talked to the other girls about their nails to know how they feel. Other than that, we all had arm and leg massages, which were great, and like I stated earlier, the people were very nice. I don't know about the other reviews. My friend and I had the worst experience. We were a late and the guy gave one of our spots away. That is totally understandable but what isn't is how mad and mean he was to us while explaining. I would've walked out then but I really needed my acrylics filled. My friends Pedi was the worst she's ever had. She asked for no callous treatment but the lady did it anyway and then charged her for it. The did a crooked job on her french tip toenails. They give horrible foot massages with the pedis and the tubs look dirty. My acrylic fill was okay. He used too much liquid with the acrylic and it made my nails lie flat with no shape. I will not be surprised if they break soon. He took no time to shape the top. He just quickly moved the rotating file back and forth in one spot of my nail and that was it. He also didnt soak my hands before to clean them and didn't brush off the dust from my nails during the fill. I had to point out to him where there was lifting and he just put some glue on it instead of filing it down to fill. This makes me really nervous I'm going to get a bacteria infection from the air bubbles he may have left. Oh and there are too much money for what they do. I've been to a lot of salons at different price ranges and they should charge 5$ less on everything for the quality of service they do. Don't go here unless you are completely DESPERATE read more

A friend an I call them at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday, the woman said she can take us BOTH in an hour. When we get there (on time) she claims I told her 1 person but I know for a fact I didn't My friend and I were picking out colors. We dropped a nail polish, and felt really bad. The woman asked my friend if she could clean it up. She was on her hands and knees in a white dress while I was getting my nails done, because the woman only set us up for one appointment. There were 5 woman in the salon with appointments including us at one time and only 2 people working There was one old very rude and cranky man at the front desk. We later found out he was the owner, and he sat at his desk and literally watched my friend clean up all the nail polish. We then watched him insult a costumer on the phone, calling him first deaf than an idiot and hung up the phone After my friend cleaned up the nail polish, the woman nicely told me she over booked with appointments. she got about halfway through my nails then stopped, I had to wait about 45 minutes so she could finish another costumer because she had too many appointments. My friend was done about 30-40 minutes before I was. Very unfortunate experience because the one woman in the shop was very nice, but the old cranky man really made it an unfortunate experience. She also quoted us 25 on our nails and charged us $30 and they look awful. read more

This is a TERRIBLE nail salon. The owner was outrageously rude. The foot soak did not look clean. The nail tech gave the worst foot massage I have ever had. My French pedicure was just horrible. The white nail polish on ALL of the nails for my French pedicure were so obviously uneven and one line didn't even paint from one end of the nail to the other. The paint on one of the nails completely came off two days after being applied... Just peeled right off! I would never recommend this establishment under any circumstances. Visiting Sedona to get out of the heat in Phx for the weekend. On the way home we went to one that opened at 9am and they were already busy so found this place since they opened at 930am. We were the first one there and they got us both for a pedi. In and out in 30mins. Nothing special with the pedi but good conversation with the lady. The tub could use a good cleaning and the chairs could be updated with a massage installed and to be automatic to slide forward. There's a lever and you and the help of the worker have to push/pull the seat to have it move forward. read more

A few female family members and I were looking to get pedicures and a few shellac manicures while visiting Sedona. We did not have reservations, so I understood that could have been a bit stressful for the staff. They did accommodate us, however it felt very rushed and the owner was slightly rude. My shellac "manicure" included a nail trim and the paint. She did not cut cuticles and was very rushed. My nails are not uniform and look a slightly sloppy. The pedicure was better however, and the gentleman was friendly. I will say that the tubs and utensils definitely need a cleaning! I was charged $35 for the shellac, which I felt was worth $15! I would love to give negative stars. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Jack (I think was his name) was working on me and I asked for a gel manicure. Sometimes I bring a photo in of a design I like and it usually helps them so they can copy it. I am accustomed to nail salons where the nail technicians are friendly and usually offer their opinion on colors/etc. They are also much cheaper than this way over-priced salon (coming from the east coast). Jack didn't like that I was asking for his opinion of good accent colors to go with my other color choice. He kept saying the design I picked would look ugly and then said he didn't want to be responsible for it coming out badly. What?! Such odd behavior from someone doing your nails. I didn't say anything at first although he was so rude from the start. It got worse and worse. I am not a confrontational person, so I let it go for a while. I tried harder to mollify the situation, while also trying to give him a simple design he could handle. He said he couldn't do it. I nicely asked for his opinion on what he thought would look good then, since he shot down all my ideas. He hesitated for a long time, obviously annoyed. Without a response, I said "I'm wondering if I should just leave because it seems your annoyed with me and are unable to do anything I want". No response. Super unprofessional and then got more and more awkward. I get up to leave and he says I have to pay for a manicure still. I responded by telling him I'm not going to pay for the filing of my nails, not to mention his unprofessionalism and incredibly rude attitude. I don't pay for poor service and I don't pay for something when he literally only filed my nails and it was a horrible experience. I go to walk out and he grabs me and blocks the front door. I could not believe he grabbed me. I said "I have to go grab my wallet in the car" and he said "you're not going anywhere". We then got into a physical altercation as I tried to get out of there. I have bruises on my arms from him. I have never been treated so poorly. I finally got out shaking in disbelief that he just physically grabbed and pushed me. He told me never to come back. Ha! Really? I will never come back and will also spread the word about the weirdly aggressive and violent experience I had. They were so rude and unprofessional and physically grabbing a customer??? What!!?? They do not know how to run a nail salon! Also - surprised the other two nail technicians didn't say a word while we were initially discussing nail colors. Once I realized he was going to be rude, I purposely spoke loud assuming the owners would come help out with the hopeless situation of him telling me everything I wanted was an ugly choice and not working with me at all. If I was in charge and I heard one of my workers speaking the way he did to me, I would walk right over and fix the situation and also have someone competent enough to do a simple nail design. Do not go here unless you want to be rudely accosted and assaulted. Luckily, I was stronger than him and able to get out. I guess there is one time in your life when you will have the worst customer service experience possible and this was it for me. To top that off, I was getting into my car and he said "I hope you die in a car accident on your way home". What on earth?! If you go anywhere in Sedona for nails, DO NOT go here! I am looking out for other women and don't want anyone to go through what I did. I'm actually sad that places like this are able to stay in business and someone like Jack is working that is willing to harm customers when he loses control of a situation.
