Love Love this sweet nail place! Lisa the New owner is amazing! Two of my daughters and I where in in Sedona Az for a family reunion. We called and made an appointment for 3:00. My Daughter Rebekka just had her toes and Nails done before she came. So she saw a sign that said they had a reflexology and massage gentleman she had amazing life changing experience. She wants him to move to Lubbock , Tx . Now you know how wonderful that our experience was! My other daughter had gel nails and Andrew did her nails done she was so happy and Loved her time with him. And she wants him to move to Lubbock Tx also. Gina ! Please visit them they are the best! Tell Lisa I fell in Love she is wonderful!!

Lisa was amazing! She did a fantastic job on my nails. She saved the day by taking me in so quickly (the day of a wedding I was attending!) and absolutely transforming my nails!!! I got a really bad manicure here - painful cuticle pushing and trimming and awful paint job. Also, the salon smelled of really harsh chemicals and gave me a headache, sore throat and itchy eyes. I won't be coming back.

I can't believe this place is able to stay in business in Sedona. If you want to be treated bad and ignored this is the place for you. When you show up no one greets up. Everyone is wearing masks and gloves but no cleans their hands in between clients. Gross!!!! The women behind the masks keeps booking clients on the phone but ignores the ones that are present. It doesn't cost anything to be nice. You need to clean up act if you want to stay in business! This place deserves no stars. read more

I had an appointment at Empire for a jell manicure and pedicure same time. They were 25 minutes late for my appointment. I felt rushed and an inconvenience. No massage for the hands and a 14 old girl was doing an unexperienced massage for my pedicure. It was her first day. Not sure this is legal??? The tools were not cleaned after me and used on someone else. It is clear the owner is trying to make as much on as many folks as possible with no customer care. Jack was my main nail tech as it was done at the same time for about 2 minutes. He was good but seemed flustered. I get my nails done regularly. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I am sad to write this but it was so horrible customers need to know. read more

I came in today with my daughter and mother in law . We were taken right away with no wait time. They were so friendly and all of the nail techs did a fantastic job on all three of us! I even got a lesson on how to draw my eyebrows by Kathy! I will be back here during my vacation in the future! read more

On the eyebrow front, Empire Nails delivers! It took some time to repair brows that other salons had misshaped, but Kathy, the owner, gave me a nice clean look with a beautiful new arch. Now i won't let anyone else touch 'em. Be prepared for some quirky personalities. read more

I've been going to Empire Nails in Sedona for about 6 months for regular pedicures. I always ask for Tom and he is excellent. In fact, I followed him from another salon. A different technician worked on a friend of mine and he also gave her a wonderful pedicure. The massages were relaxing and the work they did on our nails was very thorough. It would be nice if Empire had massage chairs but otherwise they give very good service. read more

Wow what a terribly run business. I'd give zero stars if I could. They messed up my girlfriends nails (bubbles, crooked lines, uneven nails, etc) and then refused to refund us. The owner was extremely hostile and the only was she would refund us was to take off the nails. She was a total b***h about it and yelled at us the entire time she removed the polish. She didn't even remove the polish all the way yet still charged us $15 for her half ass removal of her messed up work. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

I'm a local of almost 6 years, how I never got to this place before today is beyond me, but for a typical nail salon here in Sedona, this is the best I've found. The others I will not go into again. Tom did my pedicure, he was a bit rough with the scraper for he callous', but they needed it. Otherwise, really nice massage, salt scrub, detailed polishing and he was very gentle overall. Toes look great, legs feel great, I will definitely go back. read more

This was the worst nail experience I've ever had! I had an appointment at 3 for a mani pedi. By 4:30, my fingernails still hadn't been touched. When the guy began the shellac process, every nail was smudged and would have to be restarted. This guy didn't apologize and let my fingers to soak while he moved to the next customer! I was in such shock and disbelief. Never ever go here! They were understaffed and rude! What a waste of time! read more

Terrible! DIRTY. I got fungus on my feet from their pedicures and it will take a year to get rid of it. When Cathy did my nails, she told me it was gel and it turns out it was acrillic. She works so fast and sloppy that she would cut my cuticles and it would hurt for days. When I asked her to go slower, she got rude. read more

I went in for a full set, but ended up getting a pedicure instead due to confusion between myself and the lady as to what I wanted. My toes looked good but the service was not. It took a long time because they were understaffed and the lady kept stopping to answer the phone, and talk to her coworker. I am also not convinced that her tools and the tub were clean. read more

I wouldn't go here if it was the last nail salon in Arizona. I've had nothing but terrible experiences at this place. The owner is a female who has the worst temperament and manner. She couldn't care less about her clients and is incredibly rude to new customers. I watched her ridicule a girl coming in who thought she had an appointment. My experiences with her have been awful but I've returned a few times out of desperation. She ripped all the skin under my eyebrows when waxing so much so that the skin peeled off and they were red raw for days. I never waxed again at this place and strongly recommend against doing it. She obviously doesn't want new business and doesn't care at all about customer service and evidently her services arent good either. Stay away!!! read more

Horrible experience. They got me in 20 min late for my fill appointment. The quality of work was horrible. I went back in after I had got my nails filled for 25 dollars to show them how bad they looked. I just wanted a refund because I didn't want to waste anymore time there, however they refused. So frustrating. A waste of time and money. read more

No stars deserved. This place is absolutely terrible. I was visiting my family, who live in Sedona, from out of state and needed to have my gel french tips redone. Google had good reviews for this place so I decided to give it a chance. Bad decision on my part. First of all, they didn't even take off my old polish, they just filed my nails a little bit then got started. When they were done and I was able to take a closer look, they were shit. Some nails had thick tips some had super thin ones. All my nails had various lumps and clumps and smudges. On some nails the polish didn't even cover my entire nail. And there was also little black hairs from the brushes stuck in my set polish. When we went in for a refund (they had charged me $45) they told us no and that they werent going to do anything. Needless to say, I'm very upset. This place claims on their business cards that "they fix ugly nails" when in reality, they make ugly nails. Save yourself and your nails and take your business elsewhere. This place is a joke. read more

I had a extraordinary experience here. I was a walk in for an eyebrow wax and didn't even have to wait. The owner shaped my eyebrows with such precision, it was the best wax I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend to everybody. read more

There were two main issues; the massage and the charge. The massage was average at best. I was not asked about pressure, never checked in with, and a full body massage should never start with the feet. Skipping the hands is also not acceptable on a full body massage. We were given a gift card for two massages, apparently they raised their prices since our Christmas gift but that was not disclosed we had to logic it out ourselves. We were also up charged for something, we assume deep tissue which we asked about and did not request nor receive, but again we have had to logic this out. The tip was not negotiable and 20% was added at time of checkout. We were a couple not a large party and nowhere does it state this will happen. We anticipated tipping but ended up spending out of pocket nearly the cost of a full massage when we were gifted an experience here. Unfortunately this was not an experience we enjoyed. We've let our gifter know so they do not spend any additional money here and we will also look elsewhere for services. Worth noting that their recent remodel has left the lobby feeling cold. You are no longer brought back to a calming lounge area but seated in chairs near the door in a barren space. Client retrieval was a chaotic mess and checkout took several minutes as it was unorganized and messy with check ins and scheduling. They are no longer organized nor properly staffed.

We have had the good fortune to spend the month of April in Sedona. I was in desperate need of a pedicure and liked the review I read about Empire nails. I made an appointment with Cathy and she did an amazing job on my feet. I liked it so well that a few days later I went back for a manicure and my husband had a pedicure. He said his feet had never felt so good. Cathy did an amazing job removing calluses and getting his feet soft. My manicure did not chip for two and a half weeks when I returned for a fresh one. this is the first time that I have ever experienced NO Chipping. We both returned again today for another pedicure before we leave this beautiful place. Cathy and her husband are absolutely delightful. I highly recommend this salon. They say they can fix ugly nails and we are living proof! TREAT YOURSELF!! read more

Cathy is the best nail technician I have ever been to. I have been getting acrylic and gel nails for over 15 years now and only found Cathy when I moved to Sedona about 4 years ago. Since I have been going to Cathy at Empire Nails for my fills and nails, I have not lost one nail or had a nail chip in between appointments, and sometimes I can go three or more weeks before getting another fill and they still look perfect. She is the BEST! I also get great pedicures there from Jack. I don't know what some of the negative reviews are about, but most of the people I know who live in Sedona swear by Cathy and Jack. Also, I have spent hours in that salon over the past 4 years and can tell you that the foot soaks are cleaned after every pedicure and I have never seen Cathy be rude to anyone - even when they deserve it. read more

The owner is an ahole! I was visiting Sedona from the east coast and was looking for a mani/pedi in the area. I chose Empire Nails because it was close to hotel. Wow As soon as I walked in a man who I believe to be the owner was so rude to us I was in shock. Within 5 seconds he managed to treat me like a leper. He was condescending and dismissive to both me and my husband. I had to walk out before I opened a can of verbal whoop ass on him. I'm not sure how your business is still in existence. Great experience at Empire Nails and Salon . My wife and I came to Sedona for anniversary. We wanted to treat ourselves to a pedicure as part of our trip . We called several other salon and decided to come to Empire nails . This was a great decision . Lisa the owner was absolutely amazing the customer service was Top Notch as well as the other two nail specialist in the salon Chris and Stephanie . I LOVE this place. Kathy is AMAZING with eyebrows and nails. Tom and Jack both do a great job on pedicures! I saw in some previous reviews that said they are rude. I've only see them be rude to rude people. And I appreciate that. I always have a good time when I'm here we're always laughing and joking. I think the entertainment might be my favorite part. read more

I have been going to EMPIRE NAILS for years. They do a wonderful job. My husband, Thomas will not let anyone but Kathy do his feet. Richard is wonderful,greets everyone. I was a walk in & Jack was able to take me right away. Most excellent mani/pedi. My eyebrows were a total nightmare and Kathy not only made them perfect she took the time to show me how to make them look nice myself between waxing! The owner Kathy is dedicated, talented, and very professional. She has consistently provided superior service both with my manicures and waxing. The dip manicures look as good after a month as they do when she finishes. She takes her time and never cuts corners! I am so glad to have found her. I originate from ca. and this it the best pedicure I have ever had him took so much time with me he even gave me my finger nail color so I could touch up my chipping finger nail polish my toes were fabulous after Wards him gave each leg a bout a ten minute massage he only charged $ 25 for pedicure VERY GOOD SERVICE read more

Lisa, the new owner, did an amazing job on my manicure pedicure. She spent so much time cleaning up my cuticles and doing a precise job with the polish.
