Seth was remarkably patient and worked with me to meet my requests on every last detail (size, aspect ratio, position, ink). (Embarrassingly, I asked him if we could move the template we transferred onto my skin 5 times for one tattoo, having to wipe it away and reapply it. It would have driven basically anyone crazy, but Seth was laid-back and understanding throughout.) The price was also very reasonable. As others have mentioned the private studio was clean and seemed well organized. Honestly, vibe at the studio is not something I care about (I just want a great looking, safe tattoo), but it did have a nice feel. In my case, I wanted something very specific (and relatively simple), rather than something creative from the artist. I got exactly what I wanted, and it looks perfect. Since this was my first, Seth also explained every step of the process to me as we went. In terms of safety, I saw all his new, packaged needles. (One thing I didn't verify was how he sterilized any reusable parts. ...something you could do yourself if you're inclined.) I'll definitely return to Seth for any future tattoos.

I called to see if they had any openings and was surprised that they had openings the same day. When I arrived, parking was easy, registration was easy, and payment was straightforward. The gentleman at the desk was kind enough walk me through their process. I really appreciated that the jewelry was included with the cost of the piercing. The jewelry is not fancy; but definitely does the job and is cute. They use the basic jewelry to allow the piercing to heal which can take up to 6 months. After that time, you can switch out your piercings. Alecia was my piercer. I highly recommend requesting her. She is gentle, knowledgeable, and talks you through the process. Our consultation was longer than the piercings themselves. Lol. She was quick. I would definitely return to Best of Times for my piercing needs moving forward.

It's not some low rent joint in a strip mall full of massage parlors and payday loan places. It's very clean and very unique. Matt gave me a price based on 3 hours of work. It took nearly 7 hours, but he still honored his price. I was impressed. He could have rushed through it and done work that would have been passable, but I felt he was as excited by the design as I was. He's a true artist who takes pride in his work. The detail he added is amazing. This tattoo looks better than the artwork I gave him to work from. This was my seventh tattoo. I've never really taken care of my others. It's not that I wasn't happy with them. I just didn't view them as being very artistic. This one will be getting the sunblock. To not take care of this ink would be like hanging a Monet in your garage. This shop may cost more than some others, but their work reflects that. Back when there were tattoo reality shows on television every night I knew people that spent $400 to get a shamrock tattooed on their foot in some high profile Las Vegas shop.
