Seth was remarkably patient and worked with me to meet my requests on every last detail (size, aspect ratio, position, ink). (Embarrassingly, I asked him if we could move the template we transferred onto my skin 5 times for one tattoo, having to wipe it away and reapply it. It would have driven basically anyone crazy, but Seth was laid-back and understanding throughout.) The price was also very reasonable. As others have mentioned the private studio was clean and seemed well organized. Honestly, vibe at the studio is not something I care about (I just want a great looking, safe tattoo), but it did have a nice feel. In my case, I wanted something very specific (and relatively simple), rather than something creative from the artist. I got exactly what I wanted, and it looks perfect. Since this was my first, Seth also explained every step of the process to me as we went. In terms of safety, I saw all his new, packaged needles. (One thing I didn't verify was how he sterilized any reusable parts. ...something you could do yourself if you're inclined.) I'll definitely return to Seth for any future tattoos.

The gentleman at the desk was kind enough walk me through their process. I really appreciated that the jewelry was included with the cost of the piercing. The jewelry is not fancy; but definitely does the job and is cute. They use the basic jewelry to allow the piercing to heal which can take up to 6 months. After that time, you can switch out your piercings. Alecia was my piercer. I highly recommend requesting her. She is gentle, knowledgeable, and talks you through the process. Our consultation was longer than the piercings themselves. Lol. She was quick. I would definitely return to Best of Times for my piercing needs moving forward.

After a year of dealing with the hassle, she decided to let her lobe piercings close. Recently, she decided she wanted to get her ears re-piercing with a professional. After searching around, I came across Konkrete Jungle and specifically Alex as a professional piercer. I booked an appointment over the phone with clear instructions. During the appointment, my daughter and I arrived at the shop and were greeted by Alex at the front desk. She was professional and courteous, walking my daughter through the entire process from start to finish. She explained the options she had for initial earrings and why the stainless steel screw-on type were ideal for new piercings. Alex walked my daughter into her studio and talked her through each piercing patiently, answering any questions my curious daughter had. Because Alex uses needles rather than a piercing gun, it was different than what my daughter was accustomed to during her first piercing. In the end, there were absolutely no tears, unlike the painful experience at the chain jewelry store. Alex provided after-care instructions for the piercing and made sure she addressed all questions and concerns we had at the time. My daughter and I were thrilled with the positive experience and highly recommend Alex for any piercing needs.
