Communicated with the piercer for awhile before finally coming in with my girlfriend to get it done. It was very quick and as painless as getting that area pierced can be I imagine, and the atmosphere was chill and the price I paid for the piercing wasn't atrociously expensive (I have 8 piercings and they have ranged from fairly cheap to obscene in pricing). I tend to be more shy and modest so before I even said anything he could tell I wasn't comfortable taking my shirt off in front of the other people getting tattooed and took me to a more private room. For context, I've had ear piercings, navel, and tongue and all others were a quick and relatively painless experience with no complications. When I got my tragus, it was a nightmare the entire time. The shop was clean and everyone was nice. The initial piercing went smooth and the pierced went to go thread the jewelry through. They lost the connection between the needle and jewelry and began to dig around in my ear for the hole. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and a high tolerance for mistakes in the workplace. We're all human. But the piercer continued to fiddle until the friend accompanying me said something because I had tears rolling down my face. He decided to re-pierce the hole since he couldn't find it. At this point my ear is pounding and already inflamed, but I was already there so I said go for it. It was super painful. But we got the ring through and left. Vowing never to come back. The tragus didn't heal great. It was very slow and developed a bump at the puncture site. I won't blame this on the piercer, since it could have been a number of things. But the area was very traumatized and I haven't had any issues healing in the past. Overall, I wouldn't recommend anyone to get pierced here and surely won't be back myself. The tragus eventually did heal and it looks good now. The placement was good and the piercer was nice, which is why I gave this experience 2 stars instead of 1.

The staff was super helpful and FRIENDLY and made me feel very comfortable the whole time. They were very considerate the whole time checking to make sure I was ok before continuing. It took less time for that because of what I wanted. They give you aftercare instructions. Which is also explained to you. This was my first tattoo with colored ink. So I had several questions which she responded to very well. I would highly recommend her. Also there is alot of parking available. Just be sure to let them ring you in. They share the space with the lower level. Which is a different business. The tattoo shop is on the upper level. It was hard to come by a lot of work by the artists at Electric because they don't have a dedicated webpage. They do have a Myspace page, but it doesn't have all the work each artist has done (Take a look at all the artist's pages as they have more of their own work displayed there). I had the pleasure of having Dave Regan draw and work on my tattoo. He really got the idea around what I wanted to do and added his own style to create a stunning piece. The tattoo work areas are really clean and sterile. All of his tools were clean and sterile as well. Dave explained the processes clearly and I definitely trusted him with the direction he was taking my tattoo in. Everyone there is laid back, easygoing and friendly. I can see why he would enjoy working there. They don't take credit cards so make sure you bring enough cash. I highly recommend Dave or Brett for your tattoos!
