I sat in a pedicure chair for about 10 minutes until they ran my water. The chair was THE best pedicure massage chair I've ever been in, so I didn't mind. My pedicure service began at about 5:25 p.m. and it was over by 5:45 p.m. I've never in my decades of pedicures gotten a 20 minute pedicure. They're usually 45-60 minutes! She zipped through it so quickly, paying no particular attention to the anything. Miraculously, the end result looked okay, so again, I wasn't too bothered. After my pedicure was finished, she started working on another client (taking her sweet time)... and didn't come back to me for a full 50 minutes to look at my nails. She said it was 30 minutes. I corrected her. It was another 10 (a full hour) before she actually started working on my dip. She apologized for the wait, but once again, she zipped through my dip so quickly... a mere 25 minutes when it's normally 65-75! I mean, why work so fast now? There were no other clients. Take your time with my nails and do a good job! She cut my nails way too short. She did next to nothing with my cuticles. And my final result shows ridges and file marks in my nails! She said she could fix it and asked me to come back tomorrow. WHAT?! You want me to waste MORE of my time so you can do what you should've done the first time? Hell to the no! She also told me my toes were dry, so I could put my socks and shoes on. WHAT?! Even I know how long toes take to dry and that socks basically for the rest of the day are a no no! While she was a nice person, what good is nice if you keep me waiting an hour and provide me with a terrible service? Never again. Please, Nancy. Come home soon!

She said you have to get a more expensive pedicure for it to be longer than 15 minutes and not rushed. I've never had a pedicure that was only 15 minutes. Such a waste of money. Could have done it at home. Worst pedicure I've gotten in two decades. The whole point of me going was to treat myself. Instead I played myself. As you can see from the pedicure menu I've posted, there is no indication that this is a 15 minute service. At least call it a "rapid" or "express" pedicure or something. She expected me to know that because it's "cheap" (26 dollars) that it's not a full pedicure and would only be 15 minutes. Never again.

I booked an appointment simply to have my gel removed. Despite having an appointment, I was made to wait for over 30 minutes. When I was finally attended to, the technician seemed overwhelmed, distracted, and more focused on everything else happening around him than on the customer sitting in front of him. Multiple times, he used the electric file on my natural nails instead of the gel, causing discomfort and repeatedly apologizing afterward. What frustrated me most was that he kept walking away, talking to other people, and taking his eyes off my hands while working on me. The entire service felt rushed and careless. I couldn't help but feel that because I was only paying for a $20 service, I wasn't considered worth the time or attention given to higher-paying customers. I completely understand that Fridays are busy. However, if the salon is too busy to provide proper service, then appointments should not be accepted. I took the time to travel there, spend my money, and honor my appointment, only to receive a service that felt rushed, inattentive, and frankly worthless. Bamboo Nails has many positive reviews, and I have personally had good experiences there before. That is exactly why this visit was so shocking and disappointing. After this experience, I will seriously think twice before spending another dollar at this salon.

I created an appointment, however, I unfortunately chose a "gel manicure" instead of the correct "acrylic-full set" that I usually get. Definitely a mistake on my end, however, the nail technician was able to explain to me the error in my booking and how she does not work with acrylic. I instead opted to have my daughter get her nails and toes done. The process was very easy and Vladlena made sure that she was comfortable, however, by the time I got in the car my daughters toe-nail polish was coming off and by the time I got home she only had polish on 4/10 fingers which was a huge disappointment due to the fact that my daughter was very excited to get them done. Moving forward, I really hope this issue can be rectified.

I got both my fingers and toes completely done no lotion on my arms or hands, no massage on my hands or arms. None of the usual, you know, manicure stuff... he simply did my nails and moved on.... I was finished before my sister even had polish on her toes. They moved her to get her manicure but again, she wasn't getting color. In the meantime I was sitting aside waiting for her to be finished. I had time to examine my nails and before even leaving I noticed how crappy they were. There was polish all over my skin, he completely missed a spot on my finger nail with the chrome. I said something so they would clean it up and fix the messed up spot before we left. They cleaned up my manicure but didn't properly fix the missing spot so now it looks like a bump and is clearly messed up. He finally put lotion on me only after I watched him giving my sister a hand and shoulder massage. That's when he realized he didn't do it for me. I didn't get lotion on my arms even after that and no massage. Just lotion. After all this.. he charged us $220! I asked what the price was and he said $160 for both of us... my sister didn't even get color on her fingernails how was hers the same cost as mine???? I paid without a fuss because it was part of her birthday gift. I got home and looked up how much the chrome powder was on Amazon. $6.... They charged us $20 each as an add on for the chrome!!! 4 days later.. and the top coat on my thumb is already peeling off. Ridiculous !!!! They clearly do not care about their work. It's really relaxing in the establishment and everyone that came in was happy to be there and leaving with great service. I drive an hour to this establishment for their expertise, smiling faces and the courtesy they give to their clients. A special thank you to the owner/manager who checked on me to ensure I was comfortable while waiting for my spouse to pick me up.
