I went to A1 Brows for the first time for eyebrow threading and I'm really happy with the results. It's a very small salon with only three work stations and two people working, but even without an appointment I was in and out in 15 minutes including wait time. I've had some bad experiences at other salons where my already thin, asymmetrical eyebrows were stripped to almost nothing in an attempt to make them match. However, this technician was very thorough and precise in her work and checked in with me more than once to make sure I was satisfied. The only con is that the salon chairs have no headrest, which is quite uncomfortable for your neck when you're lying nearly horizontal. My headscarf actually slipped off halfway through the threading because of the angle, but the technician very kindly grabbed me some bobby pins from nowhere and secured it in place so that she could finish without me being exposed. I really appreciated that. Efficient and good service. I'll be back again. read more

I got my eyebrows done by Titi and asked for a simple clean‑up. Instead, my brows were over‑threaded, made extremely thin, uneven, and the tint she applied afterward came out patchy. My eyebrows were literally hurting afterward because she took off so much of my natural brow hair. When I asked for a refund, Titi told me she wasn't giving me my money back because I didn't want her or another tech to "fix" my brows -- even though more threading would've made the damage worse. I've had good experiences with other techs here, but I do not recommend Titi. She ruined my eyebrows and refused to give me my money back. read more

I've been going to A1brows since they opened. I followed them over from a previous salon. Today I was serviced by TT and my god does she have blessed hands. My eyebrows typically grow in like the McDonald's arches (not cute), so I was in need. I was a walk in client today and was able to be taken right away by TT. She had fantastic customer service and talked to me the whole time! It's sometimes a quiet process which I don't mind as I know English is often not the first language but I very much welcomed her bright spirit and conversation today. She was very clean and precise. She showed me the mirror a few times to make sure she was giving me what I asked for. Even at the end when she applied aloe, she found a spot that wasn't to her liking and went back in. She did my brows and my chin in no time. Not only was she fast, but exact, friendly and such a warm spirit. I typically walk in and take whomever is free as they are all amazing and have done this for the last three years. However, I will be booking with TT from now on. I come here always for my brows. This time was the most painful I have ever had. I'm pretty sure the lady was new and she pulled every hair out individually making it insanely painful and causing under my brow to bleed. I am always someone that is fine with the pain but how slow she was going made it insanely painful. I had to point out multiple parts that she missed. The tech asked me how I liked my brows and checked in with me frequently. I say frequently, despite this being just under 10 minutes. I've come here for the last 2-3 years and have never had any issues until today. I went to get my eyebrows done like usual, except this time I wanted to get them done prior to my wedding which is in 3 days. I don't usually make appointments with specific people, but whoever I had today absolutely ruined my left eyebrow and absolutely over threaded the end of the brow leaving me with minimal hairs. Afterwards, she tried to gaslight me into thinking thats how my brows are shaped! Came in for cluster lashes. I was concerned during the application and the finished look. The tech assured me that everything was going well. Once finished, I asked if I am supposed to see the grouping of the clusters and was told "Yes." I paid about $50. The cluster extensions were supposed to last at least 2 weeks, maybe more but they only lasted 3 days. I am dissatisfied with service, will not recommend, and will not return. read more

But beyond that, the care and artistry that went into sculpting my brows was really touching. The woman who did my brows and runs the shop, I believe, was so patient and took her time to ask me how thick I wanted my brows. I've been to other salons where it's extremely efficient and all business, but from the interior and the warmth of the shop, I really felt like I was getting a little moment of relaxation just through an eyebrow threading! There were other customers in and she prioritized and addressed everyone there and made sure I was okay, while answering a phone call as well. She's great with customers and the threading was great. I'm very picky about my eyebrows. I have very thick eyebrows naturally and I don't like them too thin. Barsha is a great listener and does exactly what you like.
