I came across this place on IG after the owner shared a video of a woman stealing from her store. She stated the woman had stolen several times. I felt bad and wanted to support. I love supporting black owned businesses especially if it's owned by a black woman. I head over the next day. I wasn't really familiar with this area of Inglewood but it took me about 30 mins from dtla. Anyhoo when I walked in there were two other people in the store. I don't think there was any acknowledgement from the owner. She looked up and went back to helping the other customers. That's fine I knew what I wanted so I started walking around the store to see if they had it. I saw it in powder and just waited for her to finish so she could assist me. After about 5 mins she came over I told her what I wanted and what it was for. She got it for me and I also purchased a few more things including the 7 day colon cleanse. The owner wasnt mean but she wasn't that friendly either but it could just be her demeanor so I'm not going to hold that against her. I'm often told I look like I'm mean....Lol I check out and leave. It wasn't until a week or so later that I looked at the back of the colon cleanse bag and realized it didn't have the ingredients in it. I went to their IG and emailed the address on their page asking for the ingredients. Almost a week went by with no answer so I went back to their IG and messaged them. A few days later I got a response. It listed three ingredients and said "a few others". Um what the the "others". Idk if she thinks I'm trying to steal her concoction but maam I'm trying to make sure I'm not allergic to anything that's in your products. All of the ingredients should be listed on the product to begin with for safety. But if someone is asking you what's in it how can you not tell them?!?! I haven't responded back to her message as of yet but I did give the cleanse away to a friend after she asked for it. Going fwd I doubt if I ever go back in but it's a great place to stop in if you're looking for herbs that are hard to find. While I was there for the first time, I noticed many of the products in her shop have no price, and her herbal products don't have any ingredients listed any where on the packaging. I would encourage you to look on her online shop before coming in, to get a just of what things cost before walking in, but it still will not tell you the ingredients inside her products. You would have to ask her, and only trust that she will give you the exact ingredients inside her products. I did try to ask her what was in the PCOS tea, but she only confirmed to me one ingredient inside the package. As I decided to trust her, my trust was soon broken the second time I purchased from from her shop. I handed her 2 hundred bills to pay for my order. She told me she had to check her purse for change. Once she came back, she said she didn't have change, and needed one of the hundred bills smaller. I gave her 2 twenties and received my change for the order. After leaving the shop, I noticed I didn't receive the other hundred dollar bill with my change, so I called her shop. She answered the phone quite rude, and disclosed she didn't have my hundred dollar bill. This experience encouraged me not to come back, and I learned to be more careful when it comes to paying in cash. I would also encourage using card when you pay at this location. Overall, many of my questions were unanswered which led to a, sad to say, cold, unwelcoming, and bad experience. The Bible says in Proverbs 6:31, Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house. I pray the best for her shop and her life. I pled the blood of Jesus against any spirit of theft in her heart or in her shop. The room that you steam in is super cute with a fake fireplace to soothe you. And you're literally sitting on a throne a cute one at that. Back to the yoni steam, yes it gets warm but not uncomfortable. The herbs used smell really good and act as a natural detox to your yoni. The toilet seat is covered with a disposable seat cover. A clean robe, towel and slippers are provided. The steaming last 55 mins! So make sure you have good company or your phone :) Not sure if the steaming comes with snacks but the gal told us she was coming back with snacks and all we got was a bottle of water. I'm also not sure when or how you even know that your yoni is detoxed afterwards since it wasn't explained prior or after (or maybe I should have read the waiver) But my curiosity did get satisfied. I made an appointment very far in advanced and unfortunately got my period the day before which I didn't expect, so I had to reschedule but the girl was super friendly with rescheduling even though it was my fault. So make sure you book and plan accordingly! Showing up it was a little intimidating but they explained it to me and left me alone to adjust myself which was nice because you gotta sit a certain way and it's not as easy if you're not comfortable. I didn't feel the steam at first but after 5 minutes or so you definitely feel it. It starts to feel kind of sweaty between your legs which is interesting. Overall it's relaxing and I enjoyed it!
