The cashier/staff to the doctor has on hand , has limited knowledge, so it would be best if you come prepared to get what you want in terms of preventative medicine. There is a private collection museum inside called Chen Art Gallery full of exquisite Chinese art collection by its President & CEO and he shares his collection by providing free guided tours. I discovered what his company produces from the banners inside that we saw walking towards the entrance of the art gallery. This company manufactures herbal nutritional supplements, cosmetics, and skin care products. I ordered one of its lipsticks and I've never had one this moisturizing lipstick ever before. My lips used to always peel using other brands. I also bought one of its face cleanser and it removes all the day's dirt and oil without stripping your skin of its natural moisture. Trying these products and finding out that they keep what they promise they'd do, I'm hoping the eye cream does what it says also of decreasing bags and dark circles under the eyes. I was seeing a new one without any success. I was in bad shape! I can't imagine where I'd be today had I not found Dr. Fujiyama. Sincerely! TCM has played a large role in my life ever since being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition. I have worked with very skilled doctors and acupuncturists who eventually retired. Unfortunately, I had a few others in between that just never really grasped the complexity of my needs and actually exacerbated my condition. When I look back, I believe the reasons for the successful treatments were due to the connection I had with certain doctors. Not only were they wise and experienced, but they also had a warm-welcoming demeanor. I actually felt cared for when I was treated by them. They took the time to address my concerns and truly listened to me and my "body's needs." I trusted them. So when it came down for them to retire, not only was I bummed, but I was also afraid. The whole "starting from scratch" thing is exhausting for anyone. And I had to do it twice. But then along came Dr. Fujiyama! Dr. Fujiyama embodies all the same traits as those seasoned doctors. I feel safe with her. I trust her. She listens. She is intelligent. She is intuitive. You can see " the wheels turning." She is engaged, deeply. But she is careful, I like this about her! I'm like a cat, I have to ease into people. But with her, it didn't take long to lower my guard. Dr. Fujiyama is not a one-trick pony. She is both talented and knowledgable, especially about autoimmune conditions. Unless it's their specialization, I have not met many TCM doctors with this additional background. Dr. Fujiyama is gentle in her approach to TCM, even when she is adding herbs to my protocol. She always starts with a " let's dip a toe in the water " approach rather than "jumping in headfirst." She is sensible because she knows people with autoimmune conditions need gentle treatments- there are so many unknown triggers that can confuse the immune system. Dr. Fujiyama's goal is to determine and treat the underlying cause of an issue, not just treat the symptoms. This is what is most important to me. When you walk in her office, you feel welcomed and comfortable. Her office is clean, quiet, and quaint. She uses essential oils for relaxation and a sound machine to drown out any outer-office noise. Her treatments are organized and effective. Rarely, do her treatments hurt. If they do, it's due to a sensitive point on the body more than it is Dr. Fujiyama's technique. She has an excellent technique actually! Now that I have practically written a novel about the amazing Dr. Fujiyama, I'll leave you with this.... Dr. Fujiyama is the real deal! She is genuine! There is not an ounce of ego in this doctor. She is a doctor because she wants to heal people. She is very sweet when you're not having a good day, and I have lots of those, she allows me to feel whatever way I need to feel. Her empathy and compassion are sometimes all I need.
