    Lychee martini

This place has a great happy hour (mon-fri 3-7 pm) and pretty good sushi. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is nice and usually good crowd but not overly packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is sooo quick. They attend to you quickly and bring out the food and drinks fast. And they ask if you want to order anything else before HH is over. There was one server (little older lady than the other servers) who was a bit snappy and rude with us a couple of times when she interacted with us, which was unnecessary, but other than that, everyone else was nice. We got the lychee martini which was yummy and strong, the the sunomono (didn't love but was okay), the crispy spicy tuna which was delicious and good portion, the rainbow roll - good, and the albacore jalapeno roll and asked for crispy onions on top - this was decent. All from the HH menu. Finished off with the fried banana ice cream dessert. I would say I've had better sushi living in LA obviously but I would definitely recommend this place as a local HH spot when you want pretty good sushi and want to keep it lowkey and don't want to break the bank.

Came here for the late night happy hour!! Loved the options they had, they had great options for both food and drinks. I got two rolls and gyoza. Both my rolls were AWESOME and the gyoza was the perfect app. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the dark / intimate vibe as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only taking away a star because it took quite a long time to get someone to take my order, check-in with me, or get me water. They had a good amount of staff around during the late night happy hour so I am hoping this was just a one-off. I will be definitely be returning!

En sushi is a great fast and simple option. I find all the fish to be very fresh and the rice is always the perfect texture. They have the best crispy onions as well. The service isn't the best but the food/price make up for it. Definitely recommend coming during the happy hour as the prices are fantastic.

This was a really cool experience. We had a big party and the team at En Sushi took good care of us. They were very attentive and very helpful splitting the bill. The food was excellent - the starters especially. The rolls were generous and full of fish. The ambiance was lovely, with a great decor and a calm environment. Can't wait to go back

Lunch special was wonderful! Came with sushi roll, sashimi, micro soup and salad. Staff was very friendly. It's next door to MD massage so it's wonderful to get sushi then a massage! Fish was fresh, as well as the avocado. Highly recommend this place one of my favorite sushi spots on the westside!

I have been coming to En for a DECADE! I love their food but what brings me back is their staff. David and Jenny have been a delight to dine with! Everyone else is amazing as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes are great, the food is spectacular![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Recommend to anyone in west LA or visiting

My new favorite sushi spot in my area. En Sushi is located on a blvd with lots of street parking. It's conveniently located and not hard to miss due to its location. Came here to enjoy their happy hour specials with my friend. I was pleasantly surprised at how extensive the happy hour meal was and everything all the menu that was included. When we first arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff who gave us a rundown of the menu. We started off with lychee martini's, the beach sushi and the garlic albacore sashimi. Everything was delicious and came out pretty quickly. You can see the chef preparing the food which you can tell is handled with care. I loved the vibe of the restaurant! While it became busy, due to the restaurants spaciousness, we never felt crowded and had amazing seating.

Nigiri sushi - Shrimp and Hirame

Your average sushi. Food: Fish was decent, but the rice was not good. It felt as thought the rice was dry and old. Definitely not an authentic Japanese sushi place, so if that's what you're looking for, then this is not the place. For the price of each nigiri sushi, the quality was not up to par. On the other hand, they have a good lunch deal thats cheap and plentiful. Ambiance: [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice interior and spacious. Ample seating including booths.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking: Limited parking behind the building (fits about 7 cars). Street metered parking in front of the restaurant. Service: Great! Super nice staff and quick service. Also came back frequently to refill drinks which I appreciated :) Overall, disappointed with the quality and taste of the sushi. But if you're looking for a cheaper lunch meal with average grade sushi, then you might want to hop into this restaurant!

Can I bring my own wine? If so, how much is the corkage?

What days/ times are happy hour?

    I believe it's everyday 4-7!

Is there still a happy hour?

I was just there this weekend and they only had happy hour for drinks. Not for food. Hope this helps!

They don’t answer phone calls. It is a fax. Is there valet offered on Saturday night and if so what is the charge?

Yes there is valet service everyday, i think they charge $3 also they have a public parking right across the street

So it's on the heavier side, but I consumed almost all of it My son also remarked the bowl looks deceptively small, yet after enjoying the soup, we left satisfied and full. Then there's the chicken, dark meat grilled to near perfection with a smoky flavor that sneaks up on you. It works perfectly with the aforementioned broth. The noodles are also good quality. Again, at first the regular sized bowl looks small, but don't be fooled. It's a satisfying size. My son also ordered the fried chicken with tartar sauce. It's not a traditional karaage, but still quite tasty Actually, the ramen itself isn't traditional. There's isn't any shoyu flavor which was a bit surprising, but the unique flavor reset my expectations. Prices are typical for a Sawtelle Blvd. establishment. It's not the bargain I'd find in Gardena, but we had no complaints among the family. Looking forward to a return visit. Gochisousama deshita!

Not so much great for big groups, but probably separate tables would be better. Restaurant itself is also small, definitely resembles a lot of like the restaurants in Japan! Especially their decor. We all got the bbq charcaol chicken ramen, regular and large size are the same price, so might as well get a large?? It all came out pretty quickly. The chicken was really soft and you can definitely taste the charcoal grill to it. Pretty nice! The ramen noodle was a nice texture as well. Although, the broth was nice at first, it was a really oily and too rich. When you think of chicken ramen, you would think that it would be a light broth, but this was extremely heavy for some reason. The broth really overpowers everything that it does get too much to eat towards the end of the meal. I didn't finish my bowl actually haha. It was good, but it really feels to heavy to eat. The ramen is also on the pricier end, which it came out to be about $27 per person with tax.

The spicy GOAM with crispy noodles as the base was great, definitely not as much of a spicy flavor as I thought, as it seemed the main source was pickled jalapeños tucked into the layers. I personally am not a fan of a concentrated spicy jalapeño bite so I ended up not getting much spice. However the rest of the pancake was very good! The loaded Kaisen was indeed piled high with seafood, but I thought the flavor was a bit light in the pancake itself. The seafood did seem fresh and tender though! The hamburg omurice was absolutely delicious. Something about their demiglace sauce here was special, I'm usually not a fan but this time I ate every drop! The steak was also tender and juicy, a perfect combination with the dish as a whole. At a late lunch time (2PMish) it wasn't too busy, and service was pretty quick! Food wise, first thing I want to highlight is their kid's mini set. It's a brilliant set - includes skewers, a mini bowl of delicious ramen, a small scope of rice with minced chicken and eggs, and fruit slices. My kid truly loved this mini set. Their skewers were excellent - my personal fave is their beef tongue. Their chicken thigh with onion is solid. I also appreciated the offerings of hearts and other internal organs on the menu too. Their ramen is definitely a surprise to me - they were surprisingly delicious (comparable to top specialty ramen places). This is the perfect spot to satisfy one's ramen and yakitori craving!!
