I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box, and let me tell you.. it was genuinely some of the best food I've had. My favorite was the sushi it came with, but everything else was delicious too. I don't realize how much food it'd be but it was too good I couldn't justify not finishing even if I was already full. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. I've done omakase and sushi before and this was not the best quality. I wouldn't say we were full because it was good but because they were making you eat so quickly. I wasn't sure if they were just caring more about turning tables until I saw a couple drinking a single bottle of wine the entire time were were being rushed. I started with salmon and tuna nigiri, plus a salmon roll that was cut into small bite-sized pieces. Honestly, I was popping them into my mouth like candy. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. They also have a great selection of hot foods. Right when you walk in, you're greeted by freshly prepared unagi (eel), which looked amazing. They also offer katsu, and other ready-to-eat items. I grabbed a Spam musubi, and wow--it may be the best Spam musubi I've ever had, even better than some I've had in Hawaii. What I love most is that the place reminds me of a Japanese convenience store (konbini)--but an upscale version. It's like Tsukigi market had a store in Ginza. I've been here several times now and what has stood out to me is that each time I can count on the same quality of fish and same quality of service. Consistency is what sets restaurants apart these days. This location has delivered a top-notch experience on each visit. Their fish is incredibly fresh. The tuna is buttery and the garlic sauce has a hint of sweetness that perfectly compliments their fish. Their sesame wrap for the spicy tuna handrolls adds a nice crunch and is a great alternative to the seaweed wraps. I can't wait until my next visit.
