Ended up with Encantada pools because we liked the pool designer we started working with and he started working there. 2 months after the contract was signed I texted the designer and was told he no longer worked for Encantada pools and needed to talk to the owner DJ. 5 months after the contract was signed and multiple attempts to reach the owner, excavation for the pool finally started. I would leave messages with the office person Allyssa and DJ would say he never got the messages. A new project manager showed up who was professional, responded to calls or text in a timely manner and explained the process. Before the pool was finished, this project manager also left the company. When the hand rail was installed incorrectly with some of the bolts sticking out of the concrete, DJ attempted to blame us for the placement. The pluming for the water features stuck out of the pool decking at different distances from the edge of the pool. DJ also made up conversations he said we had with him in which choices were made that never happened. Overall a sloppy job with lots of headaches. I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

Encantada Pools did a full backyard renovation for us last year. We are very happy with the outcome. Our yard looked exactly as we expected it to from the digital layout. We were very happy with all of the staff at the office, they responded to all of our calls, emails, questions, and concerns right away. The only issue we had during construction was 1 team showing up too early for our neighbors, but after Encantada addressed this with the contractors it never happened again. Our renovation was done a week ahead of schedule and the only extra cost we ran into was a hard dig, which we were warned about before we signed the contract. Otherwise there is nothing unexpected about the process. We would definitely recommend Encantada Pools and we would work with them again for future projects. read more

The design of our pool is beautiful and I have to thank DJ for that. The main problems I have had with this company is its operations and customer service. It has now been 180 days since our project was started and we still have items to be completed. At contract signing, it stated our pool would take 70 days to complete. We are on our third project manager with this company since starting and not a single one of them has communicated with me. It has been very common to wait days and weeks for answers and their favorite phrase is " We will have an answer for you next week". I'm sure you will attempt to state that all of our delays are due to material shortages which is not true. The delays on this project have been from ordering materials at the last minute and failing to meet your promised deadlines which in turn forced your subcontractors to reschedule. This created a domino effect throughout all the contractors and leaves me "the customer" waiting. I can not recommend your company to anyone for anything other than a design and it is heartbreaking that I regret using your company for our pool build. I truly hope you develop processes within your company to make sure no customer ever feels the way I do after spending over 70,000 with your company read more

Horrible service, they can't get their appointments right. We scheduled an appointment at 4:00 today at the SAHBA home show, they came at 2:00 and of course no one was home. We kept repeating to the lady 4:00 and they still showed up at the wrong time. Also, no one called to confirm the appointment. Maybe if they had better customer service and would have confirmed the appointment, they would have showed up at the correct time. read more

My husband and I were really excited to get a pool built by Encantada. They had good prices and options and seemed to be the best deal. Chad came out to our house to take measurements and discuss everything. He told us he would have our bid ready in about 7 days. We waited and waited for him to call us. Finally, on day 13 I called him. The receptionist said he was on the phone so she would give him a message to call me back. Hours later I hadn't heard back from him so I called back. This time she said he was in a meeting but that she gave him the message and would tell him again. By the next day I still hadn't heard back so I called his personal phone and left a message. Then I called the office one last time and told her I still hadn't heard back from Chad but we wanted to give him one last chance. She apologized and said she would give him the message. Now, 4 days later, I have not heard one word from Chad. I guess he really didn't want our business. We are actually very glad we didn't go with Omni, I would hate to see how long and horrible that process would have been. His loss. read more

Although we had spoken to a very reputable pool builder who was very reasonable and we got to see his work on a couple of homes, I convinced my husband to give Encantada a try based on a neighbor in my community who mentioned that after dealing with 3 pool builders she felt Encantada was the most responsive but she actually begun her process in the winter when I'm sure business was slow. So I thought we would give them a try. My husband and I went out to the home show in April and briefly introduce ourselves to Chad, Sales Manager and mentioned how our neighbor referred us and we were looking at putting a pool/spa and landscaping in our new home. I reached out to Chad the following week and he indicated he was very busy from the home show but to give him a week or so. I then followed up (not him) after a couple of weeks and once again he was too busy as he had appointment with customers (which I thought to myself what was I). Then about 4 weeks later at my persistence we got an appointment. We informed him of what we wanted and needed to get a design and proposal to our construction loan officer for our upcoming appraisal. We received our plan about a week later with my persistence of calling and texting. Upon receipt of the plan, Chad left off our Spa. I sent him an email immediately and he responded 7 days later. Then when I informed him I needed a proposal that took a week, once again with my persistence of calling and texting, the proposal was very poorly put together as items on the proposal were not what my husband and I discussed with Chad. Very sad as I had recommended them to two different folks who went under contract with them not knowing the nightmare I was going to encountered. So at this point I would never recommend Encantanda Pools my husband said to me what kind of company makes you beg for business. The sad part about all of this is that they are out there trying to get more business when they can't handle what they have. It is very apparent that they do not strive on Customer Service. read more
