These apartments suck almost everybody that lives. Here is related to someone in the office. Which they get special treatments what I mean by that is they acted entitled and bosses thinking they bully other residents just because they were related to someone in the managing office. They are always so late to open up the laundry room. I would wait a whole hour just to get laundry done.They opened from 9am to 10pm. I don't doubt that all the positive comments are from their relatives. They do a fast half a** job on work orders, and within a couple of days, it's broken again. It takes several times to get a work order in. Because I always say the first time it didn't go through.Nor the second time. The apartments never do anything about residents, who do not pick up after their animals. You're constantly stepping or seen animal poop everywhere around the complex. As well as smelling it everywhere. Also, no matter how many times they fume gate, the apartments are constantly infested with cockroaches. It also takes a while to get ahold of someone in the office by phone. There are 2 managers, and there is someone in the front that answers phone. If someone that works for the apartment sees, my comment, they're gonna try to say, oh, we try to fix everything this or that, but they're talking out of their butts. They also charge fifty dollars for a button to open up the gates to the apartments.Their cameras don't work. They also make excuses why they cannot get things done around the apartment. read more

DONT MOVE IN!!! DONT ROOMATE WITH ROACHES!!! Management don't care if you ask them to spray the apartment complex!!! I have lived here for almost a year and I can't wait for my lease to be over I have asked them to spray my apartment as much as they can and they only have done it 2 times out of my 10 months I've lived here . Price is good for a one bedroom but I can't stay there . When I moved in my bath tub was painted over to make it look clean my floor had splashes of paint from the "walls" and to top it off after I had asked maintenance to fix my tub for pluming problems with in 4 months living there because it would clog , they fixed it but once it was 8 months in again I had an issue again with the plumbing and they charged me for replacing the plumbing ? & to top this off my AC WENT OUT SO MANY TIMES IN SUMMER I actually had to sleep 2 days with no ac in a HOT ASS DAY . read more

I have complained about numerous Maintenance issues that are not getting done in my apartment complex. My light in the kitchen has been broken for more than 2 weeks. The fan in the bathroom has been missing 5 months with a hole in the cbilling the door to the hall bathroom has fallen off a tinge. I lived at Encanto Apartments for a year and would have stayed longer but there maintenance staff needed help and they take to long to fix repairs. I was not a happy resident when I paid my rent on time and repairs should have been done when I called to report them and they were never fixed on a timely manner. The office staff on the other hand were great and Cecilia was a great person and help me out when needed every time I need something she was willing to gone above and beyond to help out. I would have stayed longer but because of the maintenance issue not being done on a timely manner I ended up moving out read more

When I first moved here, I didn't like it because it was filthy. this place was mistreated badly! It took me a whole month to get a certain problem fixed, because the maintenance workers are lazy and try to cover up their mistakes instead of fixing the problems ( Except an older Mexican man ). Now that I've cleaned up the place it's decent, but I don't plan on staying here more then a year. That being said, I'll be back in a year to update this review and go further into details. I've been here for a little over a month, and still don't like the place, but I'm going to suck it up and make the best of it until the lease is up. read more

We were homeless before we moved here. I am grateful to have a place but I would NOT not have moved here if I knew there was a huge huge roach infestation!!! THEY HAVE SOMEONE SPRAYING BUT IT DOES NOT WORK. It sucks not wanting to go home because you know you're going to be on roach killing duty! can't sleep because I'm scared of a roach crawling on my baby!!! i see then come from the baseboards and the ceiling. I'd live in my car if I didn't have my son with me. it's 2:30 am and I have to be to work at 7 am AND already killed a few of them!!! it's sad and extremely frustrating. The people around my apartments smoke a lot of weed and since all the ventilation systems are connected the smell goes in my apartment which I'm specially not happy now because I have a 3 month old baby. The maintenance group are very nice specially an older Hispanic man. read more

My pregnant lady and I just moved in not even a week ago and we have issues with roaches. On top of that, there is no assigned parking so good luck finding a spot. People in the office are unprofessional and don't give a shit. They leave out information and make it seem like it's a good environment. This place needs new management! They put in a new parking policy, letting the computer assign our parking spaces. People can't park in front of their units, older people have to walk a block or more to get their car. If a unauthorized vehicle parks in our space, will have to call the towing company to come and remove it. Management can't fix or won't follow up on the parking problem. They have security give out warning tickets, but they don't follow up and get those cars towed. The homeowners are now doing managements dirty work, making us call the towing company. The people who live here do not have the money to get their car out of the towing yard. The renters are doing managements job because they can't figure out how to fix the problem. The assistant manager and manager will tell you whatever to move you in. After the contract is signed they will deny they every said anything. Get everything in writing with these people. Without exaggeration Encanto Apartments has yet been the worst housing experience I have ever received. It started with the run down when I got my apt in august 2016 , Elena front office assistant did not go through everything the only answer I got was she didn't have much time and had things to do. I cannot wait any longer for my lease to end. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. It begins with the office people. Elena the office assistant most of the times gives residents attitude, does not cooperate with getting answers. MOST of the time I call and she never answers, I walk in and she is always on her phone or having her kids over. I have put in a maintenance order for the third time !! And yet Maintenance does not have the adequate experience to fix "restroom drawer's" Bedroom doors! which for the 5th times has landed on my feet which I feel is not SAFE! These apartments are nearly renovated. Every time I wash my restroom there is old paint crusting off , black residue comes out. The hot water goes on and off. Lets not talk about the parking !!!!!!! You have people fighting all the time there is parking space for 2 cars per household, as security's mentioned!!! There is nothing being done about this, I have offered myself to pay for another parking permit and THE MANAGER MARK, "laughs, with a snotty respond as to its not going to happen. With this being said most of the residents park across the street in a open street next to some other apartments or next to a McDonalds restaurant/ 7 Eleven. They having parking on the side within inside of these apartments but the Landscaping crew that live on the property are sure to part their spot, and residents with working trucks, and residents with multiple cars take these spots. This is part of my frustration I pay a lot of money for rent.maintanence ESPECIALLY for my cars!! I had one of my cars hit which was mentioned to the manager his respond was " THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO" The Apartment manager is so disrespectful. I talked to him last week in regards to the maintenance and all these issues !! I am currently pregnant/ diagnosed with High risk / pregnancy also mentioned to the manager I needed a downstairs due to slipping off stairs, BASICALLY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING HE CAN TO DO HELP THE ONLY THING WAS GOING THROUGH THE WHOLE RENTING PROCESS FROM BEGGING , ADDING NEW DEPOSIT IN SO FORTH. I am very upset with the Customer SERVICE that has been provided from this location, I have never such a bad experience with everything !! The last time I put a maintenance report was about 3 weeks ago and just last week when I spoke to him he mentioned that my needs were not as important to other residents!! You have people walking around all the time. . I would appreciate if people would honestly listen to residents that currently live here, Because if I really had a heads up and somebody told me, I wouldn't be wasting my time and money in this location.
