What can I say about MiraBella that has not already been said a hundred times before me. "This is a Great Place To Live." Danielle and Gabriela are really professional and attentive to your needs. The complex is beautifully landscaped. Clean pools and spas. A gym. A sauna. A dog park. Each unit is equipped with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and most units have their own laundry. The complex is diverse from small family units to the retired individual. The maintenance team is knowledgeable, nice and can fix most issues. The day I moved into MiraBella, my AC unit went down. They had a new one put in immediately. The best part about MiraBella is they really love pets. The complex is perfect for walking your fur friends. But you better hurry up because these units get rented fast! read more

After living here for 9 months there were definitely pros and cons, unfortunately the cons outweighed the pros in the end. The first 6 months were pleasant, respectful neighbors, quiet hours were upheld, and the apartment felt like home. Sadly, the last 3 months were the complete opposite. New tenants upstairs did not respect quiet hours and this consisted of loud music, banging on the floor which sounded like furniture being dropped/moved, and constant loud footsteps which I sometimes thought were in my apartment, happened throughout the day primarily after 10pm until about 1am. I communicated this to the front office several times via email and phone calls from February until my move out week in April and this was never really addressed. I sent videos of my living room with my television on and the overpowering sounds of footsteps yet I was told that "the building floors creek". I was told they were being written up a couple of times which is none of my business and violates the other tenants privacy. Apart from that, I reported a swastika imprinted in the sidewalk near the front gate and saw it until the day I moved out. (See picture) After February, this place felt far from something I'd call home and was happy to move out. I know that other tenants are able to live there peacefully, unfortunately that was not the case for me. read more

I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience with Mirabella thus far, Especially with Alex my leasing agent. He worked incredibly hard, and even put in overtime just to get me approved for my beautiful apartment here. I just moved in today and the place looks beautiful. Its clean, spacious, and has everything I could have ever wanted in a one bedroom apartment. Alex made my move in process so easy and quick. I couldn't have asked for better service from him. 5 stars...would definitely recommend anyone looking for an apartment to come to Mirabella and to ask for Alex!! I was really impressed by Mirabella when we visited over Memorial Day weekend! The Apartments: Clean, open-concept floor plans, and updated with laminate wood flooring, new kitchen appliances and backsplash in most units. The views from both units that we saw were great, and I especially liked the privacy fence on the patio of units closer to the parking areas. From what I saw, it looked like they kept their pests under control too (I HATE bugs so the lack thereof was very assuring) The Facilities: They have lots of amenities that look clean and well kept, including 3 pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, 24 hr fitness center and a community center that serves free donuts and coffee on Sunday morning. Plenty of parking around the apartment areas that are first-come first-serve, which I actually prefer. The Management/Service: Danielle was very accommodating when we were stuck in traffic and was able to move our appointment a little bit later. In addition, she answered many of our questions so much so that I felt very comfortable leaving Mirabella knowing that there aren't any hidden attempts at getting more money out of us, since she was very upfront about how costs are broken down, the monthly rent as well as the separate gas/electric/renter's insurance requirements, and application process. When I emailed her following the appointment with more questions, she was very quick to respond (less than 5 minutes!) and is very thorough and honest with her answers. Overall, I was very impressed by what I saw here at Mirabella and am excited to start my next chapter here! read more

Our children grew up and moved out and we decided to simplify and downsize. We found the Mirabella apartments and fell in love. We couldn't wait to move in! The office staff were wonderful our entire stay. The one downside was rent was raised $100 at our year anniversary and we found out from other residents that every year adds another $100. We sadly opted to move. At first, the company tried to keep our deposit even though we left our apartment in near perfect condition. Danielle went to bat for is and got our deposit back. The grounds, while we were there, were kept clean, the pools always fresh, although they are not heated in the winter. The clubhouse is very pretty, the business room a huge convenience and our apartment was a joy. I just wish the corporate part of Mirabella cared as much for good tenant retention as their staff do. read more

I came into the office with my husband to discuss why they wanted to charge him for an extra month, although he had told them 3 MONTHS ago that he was moving out. And the girl at the office told me to be quiet. Yup. That's right people, she told me that it was not my place to talk and ordered me to keep quiet. Disrespect at its fullest potential right there. I truly enjoyed my time at Mirabella! I will not be renewing but not because there were any issues with the property or management. Hope my review is helpful to any potential residents. THE STAFF: I emailed and telephoned Peter Depaz multiple times setting up tours and asking questions, he was very helpful, explained everything thoroughly, honest and answered all my questions, even the silliest ones. The maintenance manager, Fred, and his team are all great and friendly, luckily I didn't need to call them for any issues in my apartment but every time they drove by they were very polite! THE APARTMENT: I lived in the 1bed/1bath Rancho model on the bottom floor. I was lucky enough to get an apartment super close to parking. My apartment was an upgraded unit so I had beautiful wood laminate floors, new blinds, a nice light grey pain job, i don't know what type of counter top it is but it was better than tile but not quite granite (I'll post a pic) and gorgeous white cabinets throughout the apartment. I have very large furniture so the 800 sq foot apartment felt a little crammed when it was 3 or more people in here but that's something that we blamed on our huge couches, ottoman and other stuff. The bathroom is HUGE, the bedroom is HUGE and I love that the closet had mirrored doors. One thing I did not like was that I felt like there were not enough electrical outlets throughout the apartment. We would only hear our neighbors when they were outside so the walls are nice and soundproof. Since we are on the bottom floor, my husband and I did hear a lot coming from the upstairs neighbors, just normal walking and stuff, normal squeaks and creeks you'd hear in any house but it did get a little annoying. And the doors close kind of hard so if any surrounding neighbors slammed their door, it would shake all the windows and echo, a small trade off I think. THE COMMUNITY: The grounds are beautiful. It is a pet friendly community so there is some poop here and there from some careless owners but it's not too bad. Some people will leave their fast food trash outside their car but I noticed that it's picked up right away. There are some areas where people dump their old couches, mattresses, desks, etc and it looks like a homeless camp, I really don't like that. I've personally never used the pool but they always appear clean and I see other families in there often. The dog park is nice and those who use it are always friendly. Laundry facilities are OK. Mirabella is installing washer/dryer in some units now so hopefully the next tenant won't have to deal with the coin-op laundry. Now the mailboxes are horrific!! I will not ever drop any mail in the outgoing box (you can see why in pics) and it is obvious that there are attempts of burglary to the mailboxes (pics). THE PEOPLE: Various ages and walks of life live in Mirabella. I loved all my neighbors in my building except some young adults (which I am) who would drink every weekend and come home around 3am and start screaming and fighting. Nothing serious but it was scary at times. Everyone else appeared friendly and just minded their own business. Lots of families, couples, students and more. THE LOCATION: Mirabella is at the intersection of Washington and Country Club off the 10. I love that it's close to the freeway and so much shopping! There's an EOS Fitness less than 5 minutes away, a drive thru Starbucks on Varner, lots of options for grocery shopping and lots of yummy food choices. (Update: The pools have been cleaned after numerous calls and complaints. Problem is, it shouldn't take any complaints. These are basics in a complex with hundreds of residents and three pools; keep them a showcase for future tenants. Upped review to three stars.) We've been at Mirabella almost a year and the past six months have seen a remarkable decline in the property. First, let me offer some positives. The apartments are lovely and the maintenance team was great until two thirds of them left. When maintained, the property is also very nice Now the down side, which leads to my poor review Some grass is dying because sprinklers are broken. The pools are green and filled with sand (other nearby apartments don't have the same problem so it's maintenance and not weather) and thankfully the Jacuzzis are working after weeks of being down. When we got here the manager was a jerk but he lived here and walked the grounds. Not now. Don't get me started on the piece of crap gate system they recently switched to from standard clickers. They don't work half the time, maybe more often than that. They say they're working on all these things, yet they persist. I'm not mad, and I get that they just lost three staffers (reason for that??), but, frankly, that's not my problem. I pay my rent on time or early each month, don't smoke, don't fight, don't lead cops here for a shootout (yeah, this is that apartment complex), and I shouldn't have to worry about their crappy leadership. But it does affect me. So if you're looking for a new place, keep going. Hopefully I'll be able to update this review with a bunch of positives. We'll see. read more

I meant to write this review 2 months ago when we moved out but its better late than never! My husband and I had lived here at Mirabella for 7 years, way back when it was Emerald Place. We saw management come and go here and were never very happy with the front desk employees until Danielle Scholz arrived :). She was so kind and refreshing! I actually felt like a valued resident and human being. She helped us immensely when we needed to move out and was more helpful than anyone could have ever been! I was so stressed out and she took most of all my stresses away, which is really saying something! She deserves more than a good review. Fred, the main maintenance guy, also deserves a huge credit! He had been there the whole time we lived there, helping us with anything we needed and was such an amazing person! I felt like he was more of a friend than just a guy who worked there, always there with a smile ready to help with anything even if it wasn't in his job description. He even came and helped my husband move our extremely heavy couch when we were moving out without even being asked. I hope if you move here you get to meet these awesome people. Be ready to be gouged for every penny you have. Once you sign a lease, management has no interest in your needs or about you at all. My patio door fell off the hinges and after months of requests I was given an unpainted wood door. The same went for many other requests that went ignored until finally half-assed. They will make lots of excuses and be sure to let you know that it is your fault. After living here many times over the past 6 years I can tell you the current management is the worst. I finally moved out at the end of lease only to find out I did give them proper notice that I wouldn't be resigning so I was charged an extra month plus another $107 late fee for said month I'm not living there. The kicker is they are taking this time, that I have to pay for, to renovate the apartment in order to charge the next person more. After 3 years in the same apartment I have moved out at the end of my lease only to have my entire deposit kept and told that I have been sent to collections for another $1000 unless I pay within 2 weeks. Whatever you do, live anywhere but here. Unless you just like losing money then by all means... Welcome home. Update 08/24/17 So apparently don't complain either. After 3 weeks of trying to reach "Kevin", I was finally called and told it's my fault for not knowing what the manager couldn't even find in the lease agreement for 20 minutes. Then I was given attitude for bringing up ethics and customer service before promptly being hung up on. Classy. read more

If I could give minus stars I would. Beware. The water bill is not metered, so you end up paying by the rate of occupancy. Unfortunately, people keep moving out and my bill keeps going up.The garbage and sewer are the same way. I have a one bedroom one bath and here are my utility costs for the month of November sewer $29.48 garbage 22.12 and Water 38.56. It's a hidden clause in the lease. For anyone that can't afford to have a lawyer review their lease before signing, I have added this photo. When I made inquiries into this I was told by Mercy that "it would be against the law to charge you for utilities you don't owe". In trying to get to the bottom of this they send me a copy of their property tax bill with the sewer charges on it. Since when did tenants become responsible for a portion of a property tax bill? Is that legal? Paying them isn't really the issue for me, it's the outrageous and unreasonable amount that I have to pay. Danielle is very nice and does what she can to be helpful. Upper management is condescending and indignant. My bad....I did sign the lease. If you pay attention to their response comments on negative reviews you will notice that they never take responsibility for anything wrong. They just spout a bunch of corporate sounding garbage. My take away from this situation.....I feel badly for the people who work for FPI management/owners of this property. They are forced to defend a corrupt immoral company to keep their jobs. Can't wait to see their generic corporate response to this making it somehow my fault that I basically pay 1$ every time I take out a bag of garbage or flush my toilet. read more

We've lived here since Oct. '14 and I must say that things have gotten exponentially better with the new management (we got here just as things were shifting over from Emerald Place to Mirabella). The staff is what makes it great - super nice! They throw holiday parties with free food and keep the grounds really nice. They clean the pools regularly. Good, attentive maintenance folks also. The renovated units are SUPER nice! Unfortunately ours isn't renovated so we still have the dingy carpet (and no washer/dryer) but most other units do by now. I'd say 4 stars for the units/price and 5 stars for the management people. Peter, the front desk dude is super friendly and always willing to help! So far, it's been our favorite place to live in the desert. read more

Not only was management difficult to reach(multiple calls or emails needed just for a response), the responses we received from the management team were in conflict. After being told by one person that we had an apartment secured, we set up utilities and put in a change of address. However, with only a little over 2 weeks before the planned move in day, we were informed that we were not in fact approved for an apartment. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Last summer we joined the newly renovated, and newly staffed, MiraBella apartments. The price was reasonable and the apartments were in fairly well maintained condition. Unfortunately, there were a series of problems with our AC shutting off, dishwasher having to get replaced, and the community laundry facility only working at half capacity during our entire year long stay. When the issues were brought to Management's attention we were met with nothing but a slow response time and an apathetic attitude. We decided that we would be better off at pretty much any other residence and moved. We filled out all the necessary paperwork for a move out inspection but received no response from the office staff, who are rarely actually in the office (expect to see a "will return soon" sign on the door) and ended up having to move out without one. Upon receiving the final summation of the cleaning and maintenance charges, we discovered that they would not only be taking our entire deposit, but ultimately be asking for even more to cover the cost of "returning the apartment to it's original condition" This included painting the kitchen and bathroom because they were "dirty", guess that's one way to fix it. We spent a great deal of time cleaning all of the the apartment to include the carpet, floors and walls but were charged for them anyways. In conclusion, I would recommend that if you are considering moving in, that you accept that you will be receiving none of your deposit back and will most likely end up having to pay them additional fees for whatever cleaning fee they decide to employ to reach a high enough dollar amount to take all of it. Maybe their ill trained and inexperienced staff will have improved their professionalism by then, but I doubt it. Good Luck. read more
