The Regent sits on prime property & great location available to restaurants,shopping,hospitals & any of your desires. The office staff is amazing . They are people that really care for their tenants specially Patty who always goes above and beyond for the tenants. She has always been welcoming and helpful with any needs that we might have. She has very good people skills and makes you feel like family. She always greets us with a huge smile. It wouldn't be wise to loose any of them as they are always there for us. I wouldn't think of a better place to live in the heart of Palm desert. I always reccomend it to people looking for an affordable place to live where it's peaceful and well kept. The tennis courts are not available at the moment. This place has pools , jacuzzis and a play ground for our kids , basket ball and volley ball area. It's an amazing place to live.

kind and knowledgeable staff was on the waitlist for a year and a half working and commuting from…read moreDHS, once I called after a year they said they would call me back and never did, (I assumed my name hadn't come up yet) called after a year and a half and they found me on the waitlist they had misspelled my original name (they got my phone number correct I think) they helped me get all my paperwork in order and we moved in within a month (the office is ran by something like 3-5 people and they all seem to have plenty of work to do to fill a full time work week) they were polite and friendly responding to emails in a timely manner with all the care and consideration me and my wife could ever ask for in a benevolent landlord. the property used to have security guards that patrolled the lot 24/7 now they don't but this neighborhood is amazing with more sheriff patrols than any other city i have ever lived in so we are definitely just as safe as we were before. this is a huge apartment complex but the staff here clearly love what they do and have yet to let me down, they can be a little late in unlocking the laundry rooms and pool areas in the morning but that is to be expected in a huge complex such as this. there is nothing but opportunity here as long as you have income and want to remain productive this is probably the best option as far as apartments are concerned. Nice neighbors and the friendliest residents, close to Walmart and the Palm Desert mall, One quail has Parks with play areas and slides for children, tennis courts, basketball court, pools & jacuzzis, and laundry rooms. 10/10 would recommend

A faulty, non-code-compliant water-heater installation led to mold / water damage, forcing our family to live elsewhere for over two weeks. The City of La Quinta issued a Cease-and-Desist / Stop Work Order, yet management still charges full rent and utilities while part of our home remains sealed off under a mold-containment tent. We've received no lab results or proof that our unit is habitable, and communication from management has been nearly nonexistent. This is unacceptable and unsafe for any paying tenant. We are reserving all rights under California Civil Code § 1941.1 and § 1942, which require landlords to keep units habitable and give tenants remedies when they do not. (Photos show the containment barriers and the city's Stop Work Order.)

The suns rays hit the pool just perfectly even in the winter you can sunbathe. The trees and plants around are also beautiful. Maitenance issues are addressed and management is professional. I feel lucky to have lived here. I have for many years and this has been my experience.

Not to mention the noisy neighbours! Sleeping at 10 PM with your upstairs neighbour blasting music is the greatest botique apartment experice you can ever have if not that then its the loud neighbours having a scream match! Dont bother complaining to the management either, you'll be lucky to catch them in the office 2 out of the 5 days a week within the 2-3 hours that they show up. The management is super neglectful. You will reach out multiple for valid reasons to complain, just to get met with no answer and no resolution to the issue. It took multiple attempts of outreach for them to even "address" the issue just for then to follow up with nothing. Whats worse is that they claim they "read" your messages but dont bother to respond unless you follow up. Also when I previously brought up complaints the manangement said this and I quote "Well the maintanence man has said you make noise to", like really? Extremely unprofessional. We didn't have an appointment, we were just a walk-in at the very end of the day, because the leasing agent from another complex (Modern Cactus) didn't show up to our appointment. Michael happily took us in even though he had a crazy day with back to back appointments. Michael is kind, friendly, funny, and very obviously loves his job. He is very attuned to a persons body language, and he can tell if you absolutely love the unit or if you aren't thrilled about it, and at the end of the tour he asks you opened ended questions about how you are feeling/ to see if he can find a unit that better suits you. He also tries to get you the best possible deals that he can. I loved that he didn't pressure us at all, as he knows how important it is for a tenant to be happy with their living space. Ultimately, with heavy heart we decided not to go with desert boutique and villa boutique because of money reasons (I am a student, so we decided it was better to go with a less nice place and save a bit of money). But I would recommend Michael and Desert/ Villa boutique to anyone looking for a gorgeous apartment in palm springs! 10/10 customer service from Michael!!! He is the hardest working leasing agent I have ever met.

If you left a person or pet overnight with the fumes not sure they would be ok. Apartment Turnover is high, and they repaint causing toxic fumes to go into the AC vents - BEWARE CURRENT OR CONSIDERING RENTERS TRANSPARENCY FOR SAFTEY OF THE COMMUNITY If you keep your apartment closed with a pet inside while you are at work THEY SPRAY PAINT and FUMES TOXIC FUMES travel upwards...or downwards into your unit...the smell was so strong we couldn't breathe ... Imagine what an elder, expectant mother, or animal would go through?!! COMMUNICATION EVEN A QUICK PHONE CALL ?? A VOICE MESSAGE ?? would save people OR animals with HEALTH CONDITIONS Imagine they did this with the AQI - dangerous AIR QUALITY DAYS. BUT TO SAY NOTHING? They must coordinate when they have toxic chemicals and fumes it's a SERIOUS liability. Open the doors & AIR OUT THE UNITS IF YOU PAINT THEM - PLEASE. IT IS NOW HALF A DAY LATER (at Night) THE SMELL AND THE FUMES ARE STILL SO STRONG we tried airing out all the doors and we have 2 airpurifiers going and it still perfume strong. pesticides are here on the grass then cut it at 7am so you breathe it if you decide to work around then. AC unit may 'break' or freeze multiple times a year, you may encounter roaches, and rats (plus they seem to breed under the stairs) outside, and the water can be turned off short notice. They also ENTER your unit WITHOUT PRIOR permission (ILLEGAL) - breaking and entering on recorded footage is not a good look...so buy some cameras. It happened once when we have documentation that specifically asks and a second time that it's now "policy" to check for fire or building code and they aren't willing to accommodate a time in advance for checking. Who here is lazy and can't use AI to coordinate a schedule? The office door often says they will be back... they aren't coming back. We have video recordings and footage of the sketchy condition & all the interesting things we've found and have endured with this property. They fail to call the correct person on the contact list as requested multiple times. If proper notice or communications continue to be an issue the post WILL REMAIN AS IS. Michael is kind. Majority of the staff is so kind, they probably aren't involved with most of this. But whatever is going on here isn't great. They trim trees and expect you to read your emails within less than 12 hours notice. They can and have shut down water usage at least once a month or so Update: 9/12/26 - apparently they give new renters your parking spot or they are running out of parking and assigning overlapping spots so when you're home from work someone else in your covered spot which you do pay extra for. What is going on with management?
