This place has been on my radar for quite some time. I finally was able to break away from work…read more While I wanted to be excited, I can't be. This place is FULL of entitled old, nasty attitude women, clearly retired or NEVER worked a day in their life. I literally watched a group of serves talk for greatly of 5-7 minutes or more as my beverage continued to decrease. I had to get out of my sit to ask for a refill. At NO point prior to me getting up did ANYONE of these blue apron ladies walk over to ask "do you need anything else". Then the lady in reuse manner cut me off as I'm talking, I'm trying to be respectful to my elders but you know respect is a two way street. I will not come back or recommend this place. I should have known the environment in which I entered what to expect from "these" women but I was hopeful. It unfortunate in 2026 we're still dealing with "these" kinds of women. The food, decent. Yams are OVERLY sweet, sweet tea is good. Spaghetti could use more flavor. All this is not enough to come back, there MORE than several other welcoming establishments you/I can spend money and receive better service. Keep in mind, you have to pay for your food ahead of time and they give you a "chip" for dessert at the register yet they still want to "see" your receipt. So what's the purpose of the chip? That said, eat/visit at your own risk.!

Both the dining room and the gift shop are volunteer-run by some of the nicest ladies in Memphis. I enjoyed Steak Tips with gravy on mashed potatoes with salad, a roll, desser, and a beverage. The food was as good as the last time I ate here in 2013. I also like that gift shop purchases help Southern women get ahead financially with products from clothing, crafts, to food products. I bought a delightful cats and dogs themed travel mug that keeps cold and warm beverages at temperatures for hours. It's well worth a stop for both lunch and shopping in Memphis.
