Had a move scheduled for tomorrow. I found out a person I've worked with moves pianos in his spare time. He has tons of experience and he was available sooner and cheaper. I cancelled my move with encore, giving 24 hours notice. The lady on the phone was extremely mad and said "you know what, I'm going to make sure everyone knows your name and I'm throwing your paperwork in the garbage. I know you found someone else to do it" I said yes, I got a buddy to do it. She said "well you call me when your baby grand shows up damaged" Who runs a business like this in 2020? Stuff happens, lady. You got 24 hours notice and I apologized. Just say "ok, well think of us next time" and move on. Don't take it personally. Totally unprofessional. read more

Amazing service! The movers themselves were beyond capable and very professional. They showed up with their masks, gave a heads up when they were 15 minutes away, and did the unload and placement so ridiculously quickly that I was in shock. They were very careful with the piano and made sure the lid would have room to open. They were very reserved but so respectful and collaborative and I'm very glad they were able to squeeze me in for the move. The manager answers surprisingly quickly as well to questions. Used them to move a baby grand from Camarillo to Carlsbad this week. They were a third of the price of the highest bid we received. They confirmed the pick up time window the day before and arrived on time (face masks worn correctly!). Their truck was clean and looked new. They inspected the piano and went over their findings with me. It took them 20 minutes to disassemble the piano and wrap it in blankets. Delivery the next day also went smoothly. Caesar, Juanito and Anthony took great care muscling the piano up a flight of stairs (with a landing and turn at the middle). It took less than a half hour and we couldn't be happier with their service. Highly recommend! read more

These guys helped moved a baby grand piano that i brought off craigslist from orange county to san diego. Two guys came and right away I knew that I had made the right choice hiring them. Not only where they the cheapest (I called around about three other places and they were cheaper I am was $100 they even have a cash price), they knew exactly how to use the equipment to maneuver stairs. They arrived on-time for both pick up and delivery. They arrived with a dolly created for pianos and tons of blankets. Very quickly they took apart the piano legs and pedals and protected the part that touched the dolly with boxes. They used brains not muscle to move! They couldnt deliver right away cuz they only do san diego on certain days of the week so they stored it in their warehouse for a few days after pick up. I was told the warehouse is temperature controlled, which was my main concern. On delivery day, same thing. They arrived on-time, and put the piano back together without issue. They settled each part of the piano on blankets so no part of the piano touched anything other than a blanket. They asked me where i wanted to place the piano, tested the pedals were working after they put it back on. I paid them cash, it came up to $135! Cant believe the amazing deal! I would not hesitate to use them for my next move. read more

They were able to accommodate me the same day, which was The nicest part of this experience. I needed a baby grand piano moved from one side of my living room to the other. Less than 20 feet no stairs, just a straight shot. They charged $150 which I guess is just to compensate them for their time driving out there because the whole operation took like 15 minutes once they arrived. They also helped me move a table that was in the way, which was very nice of them, but then one of the movers dropped one of the pieces of my table and scuffed my wood floor. The piano looks great in its new home and was undamaged so I guess this was a win. read more

The movers themselves (George and his crew) were fantastic. They were careful with the piano and my floors and kind to my kids who kept trying to get underfoot. Customer service, however, (specifically the woman who does scheduling/answers the phone) gets an F-. Through her, I scheduled a move of a baby grand piano for the next day. She told me that she would call me in the morning with a three hour delivery window. Instead, at 7:45am, I got a voicemail informing me that the movers would be coming in 30 min. I called back, 10+ times, in an attempt to inform her that 30 min notice, first thing in the morning was insufficient for me. No one answered the phone. Mover showed up while I was dropping kids off at school (yep, scheduler didn't bother to ask if the time worked for me). When I finally did get a hold of her, she was defensive, rude, and not at all apologetic. If you can handle being spoken to in this way, the price is good and the movers are competent. read more
