The restaurant itself is very laid back and nice, the food was good and I never like to complain but unfortunately when eating my food I found a hair and there were servers walking around with their hair down which is not very hygienic and it ruined my meal for me. With a small party of people for lunch, the food was dreadful. The French soup had a crust of cheese so over-cooked it was black, not just blackened. The caesar salad was served--with oil & vinegar dressing--yuck. The server was inattentive & not present & hard to get at all times, but could be seen in an adjacent room socializing with a group of other servers. Their tables must have been just as badly served as ours. The manager/supervisor who checked in with our party? Non-existent. We had a little bit of a wait on a Thursday night here. It was trivia night so that made the evening fun for everyone. We enjoyed that as a group. The food and drinks came quick but they were packed. Today was my first time here and it was super cool! They had a large selection of draft beers, (I'm a Blue Moon type of gal). The blue moon was cold and they had orange slices (my favorite). The restaurant was decorated in Christmas decor of which was giving "very much Christmas "! But what was super dope about visiting there was the manager, Ty Rhonda (apologies if I misspelled your name), she magically appeared and was so hands on with ensuring everything ran smoothly and promptly. The service was great! The staff seemed friendly and nice. The food was alright. I would go back for the pretzel and some drinks for entree was just ok. My salmon was cooked well but the flavors were just alright. My husband had the Father's Day special stake, he asked for medium and he said it was a little over done than medium and had some hard edges. I don't eat stake so I'm not a good judge for that. The beef with dumplings had tender soft beef but non-crispy dumplings. The full rack of ribs was so very tender and so very tasty! The ravioli had a good level of pesto with Lois chicken. And the Cajun chicken pasta was a HUGE portion and very delightful though the flavors weren't too heavy handed! The restrooms were clean, lemur of parking in the lot, and a full bar to make whatever you want. And yes, the dessert was everything we thought it would be and more!!! Our waitress was so nice! This was my family's first time coming to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food all came out very quickly and was very good. I got the Mac and cheese with zingers I think it was called (it just had chicken and you could choose the sauce. I got bbq) we also ordered some mozzarella sticks that were good. The inside vibe of the place is pretty nice not too loud or anything. First time and I'll be back. We were fussy...my parents have hearing aids and music levels are awful at most restaurants. We went early to avoid people noise and when I mentioned not being under a speaker, the young lady went out of her way to find the perfect booth. Off to a good start. Ordered chicken tenders appetizer for mom...she's up in her years but still appreciates harming her tongue w/a spicy sauce. She picks at her food like a bird but inhaled over half that plate w/o breathing...always a good sign. Dad had the 35 fried shrimp and really enjoyed it. He said Millers fries it nice n crispy. The French fried were tasty too. I order the Mahi-mahi sandwich, blackened. It was a good portion and cooked well, but the blackening season must be for northerners. I had steamed broccoli which was good and I would come back again just to have that Mac n cheese. We didn't order dessert but I have friends coming in and so I won't eat for two days so that I can enjoy the gazillion calories dessert...something about layers, Oreo's, Heath Bar, sauce...I'm down. There weren't any complaints on food, but it did take a while. We were there for three hours, however, we were a large group and didn't have any other plans. I can speak on the osso bucco....slow cooked absolutely perfect with a nice crispiness on the outer layer. The mashed potatoes were great and had a nice rich gravy that complimented the pork. The chicken parm was good, tasted homemade. The chicken was a thick piece, but cooked to temperature and all white meat. Have been to this location a total of four times all pre-covid. It's nothing to run back for but it's decent. During the times I came for work events our parties were large and they were able to accommodate since we had made reservations prior (pre-Covid) and the waiters/waitresses were very helpful. Their drinks were delicious and their food was just average. Never really left a profound thought for me. If you are looking for a bar-ish vibe of food with a little bit more class then here is the place for you. Since this is a pre covid review I am unsure what protocols they have taken to make sure everyone is safe now but prior to this the restaurant was pretty full each time I came. Got to check out Miller's Ale House on a Wednesday night. Even around 8:30 pm there was a 20 minute wait. No biggie, we went and got a drink at their outside bar while we waited. This area is really cute! They have the bar, some bar tables, and outdoor couches. I had a little bit of a sticker shock moment out here-- $10.85 for a tall UFO Pumpkin Ale!!! Given, it was a tall, but still... that felt like a rip off. Anyway, we got seated and ordered some food. They had a special where their zingers (think saucy chicken tenders) were only $4.95. It came with 6 tenders and it was very good. My friend and I split these and I ordered a build your own burger. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium! Placed our order through the website which was easy to use and navigate. For the food itself, I was disappointed. I ordered Fish and Chips and didn't care for it. The Fried Fish was very bland. I've never had Fried Fish that wasn't flavorful. Thank goodness for the Tarter sauce. However, you shouldn't have to rely on sauce to make a dish taste good. There wasn't many French Fries in the container, so that was a bummer. But after I tasted the French Fries, I was ok with only having a little bit as the French Fries weren't salted, lacked flavor, and was soggy. My Husband ordered the Tailgater Combo (Half rack of ribs, French Fries, and Zingers). The Ribs tasted good, but the French Fries were not seasoned , and the Zingers were really soggy to where the batter kept falling off the chicken. Now it may have been different if we ate at the restaurant instead of having it delivered. However, we don't live far from Miller's Ale House to the point our food should be cold and soggy. Also, the containers holding the food had a couple of holes on the lid so the steam could escape (another reason why the food shouldn't had been soggy).
