Incredibly rude, condescending, and unprofessional. ​My sister called to ask a few standard questions about a Groupon deal for a keratin treatment and was treated with complete disrespect by their "hair coordinator." ​When my sister simply asked if the treatment contained formaldehyde--a standard safety question, especially since she manages hypothyroidism--the coordinator immediately snapped at her. She defensively argued that "even nail polish has formaldehyde" and rudely claimed my sister wouldn't be a good candidate because the salon didn't want any "liability." When my sister explained her health condition was the reason for her concern, the coordinator dismissively snapped, "Oh, if you have a medical condition, maybe you shouldn't come." ​Throughout the call, she was impatient and sounded ready to hang up simply because my sister had health-related questions. ​Trying to keep the interaction peaceful, my sister asked her not to be rude and kindly suggested they start the conversation over. After a cold silence, the coordinator admitted they "started off on the wrong foot"--only to follow up with even more negativity. She bluntly warned, "Don't expect this to be like relaxer results. This is a long process, and you cannot have high expectations." ​Even after all of that unprovoked attitude, my sister still politely asked if she could call back to make an appointment once she made her final decision. DONT TAKE YOUR CHANCES, GO ELSEWHERE! Went to get a haircut for my mom and a blowout for myself. My mom's hair cut went well but was $50 for a dry cut, it took about 10 minutes given she has very little hair. The blowout is where it all goes wrong. I was told over the phone it was $40 for a blowout and there's additional fees for length, and to use hot tools after. No worries. She shampooed my hair and the back of my scalp was completely dry and unwashed. Then once we sat in the chair she finally looks at the length and claims it will be an extra $30 dollars to dry it. So almost the price of the blowout itself is the FEE. Judging by how awful the shampoo was I declined and left the salon with my hair wet. Now that my hair air dried it feels greasy still, so she didn't do a thorough job washing it. Which I ended up paying $25 dollars for just the wash. Definitely just go to Blo in Los Alamitos or a real salon. $70 dollars for a blowout would be a luxury price and that salon and vibe are anything but luxury! read more

And I remember now why I did not try this place for the last 2 years ; because they would have given the same low quality service that time too. I went for a Blowout on Sunday and Brynn was my stylist. She greeted me at the door, introducing herself. The shampooing was great with a little massage. Brynn also added a hair mask for protection for the blowout. The place was very clean and they had the air conditioning on because of the hot weather - it was a pretty nice experience over all. Came to my appointment right now and the girl at the front desk tells me I never called back to confirm. I got a text on Monday April 18th, 2022 to remind me of my appointment. This was extremely disappointing to me as I have an important event I'm hosting later today. I asked the girl at the front desk to give me the name of the person that sent that text and she said she didn't know. When I asked her who's the boss she said she didn't have one. When I asked who sent the reminder text she said she didn't even know that they did that. Made me wonder if she even knew how to do hair since her answer was "I don't know to everything." Very disappointed. Negative stars! Not the place for a keratin treatment. I washed my hair after 72 hours and my hair was back to how it was- wavy. I called and went to see if they could do something about it or redo it but they did not offer ANYTHING. The keratin was supposed to make my hair shinier and look healthier but it didn't. The way they checked to see if the keratin "stayed" was by flat ironing it. They said I have to flat iron my hair EVERYDAY if I have to so.. what was the point of the treatment? Nothing. Their definition of a keratin treatment is so off. Didn't get a refund or any other offer, and I had to pay extra because I had long hair. Don't waste your time and money on this salon! read more

Marcela and Genesis were both awesome. We had appointments at 2:00 but they accommodated us by letting us come in at 1:00. Marcela cut and styled my hair exactly the way I wanted and Genesis cut and styled my sister"s hair. While we were there we saw 4 other customers get their hair colored, styled, cut, etc. Everypne's hair turned out beautiful. I absolutely LOVE this place. Marcela always does a great job with my very troublesome hair and I feel like a million bucks when I leave (but she charges a lot less!). I just had my first haircut in several months, because salons were closed due to COVID19. Marcela has the sanitation protocols handled. Customers wait outside until the stylist is ready, then are brought inside, temperature checked and given hand sanitizer and gloves. Personal belongings are stowed in buckets,and masks are required. The stylists are wearing masks and face shields for protection. The haircuts and conversation are still first rate. I felt very safe and cared for, AND I got a great cut and style! read more

Professional, friendly staff (they serve coffee and cookies too along with fun trashy mags) and reasonable prices too; I also liked that the stylists offered suggestions without being pushy. I came in using a Groupon code for a keratin treatment. I paid $70. I was told I would still need to flat iron my hair, in order to keep the shine. What is the purpose of spending $70. I did this before elsewhere and spent $110. And it lasted 3 months and I never had to use a flat iron. I would just wash and go. I would not recommend this place for a keratin treatment, I knew right away that what ever product they used, was not worth $70. Your hair should feel a bit heavier and you can tell you have a keratin product in your hair, it should come out shiny and smooth. And stay that way for at least a few months. their product washed out after a few washes and I'm back to dry frizzy hair after two weeks. I would pay $110 just to have maintenance free hair. I will not be going back.My hair is very short so it should not of taken much. I gave it two stars for the nice girl that did my hair, she was sweet and professional. I had a hair stylist for 8 years that I went to on a regular bases, due to some family matters and conflict with the salon (privately owned salon with a single stylist) we stopped going. Shortly after that I reconnected with an old HS friend that had finished school recently so from there she took over my hair for a couple years. Sadly she's gone MIA (My hair misses her immensely) that was until I found Marcela. I called to get an idea of pricing and from what I've heard from other salons around town they're the most reasonably priced within a $20 range. Some were sketchy low (you get what you pay for) and others were just ridiculously high ($75 to chop off roughly 2", some simple layers, and a quick trim of the bangs on mid back length, medium thickness hair, that is insane!) It was a mom and daughter date day so we both showed up. We scheduled an appointment over the phone roughly 1.5 hrs before showing up. Marcela and Dawn greeted us right away and took us to their stations. I fell right into conversation with Marcela, it felt like I had been going their for years. My mom was the same with Dawn. They're both such great stylists. Marcela, thank you so much, you've made me and my hair happy again. I look forward to coming back again. See you in 3-4 months for another trim. read more

I even had one lady chase me down in a parking lot just to tell me how much she liked my hair - now thats good hair! I was referred to Natalie by one of her clients that I came across in a nail salon and boy am I glad I followed up on the referral. I recently started having Keratin hair straightening done and couldn't be happier. Had a Groupon for a Keratin Treatment and I was so excited for my hair to be straight. However, 72 hours later after I washed it, my hair was back to how it was -- curly and wavy. I called to see if there's something they can do about it and all they said was I just need to use a flat iron to straighten it. I went back in to show them how curly my hair was still, thinking that they would redo the process, but they did not offer such thing. I thought having a Keratin treatment would take care of some of my waves by blow drying it, but I guess this is not this Salon's definition of this kind of treatment. I'm so disappointed. Not only did I give a good tip but I was also charged extra for having long hair. I would never go back to this place and I wish I can get a refund on my groupon purchase. If the salon is going to charge you more for having long hair maybe they should also use more of the product to actually have the process work. What a waste of money and time! read more

If there was a possibility to use negative stars i definitely would . DO NOT GO TO GENESIS I repeat she is the most rude and unprofessional hair stylist there is. She may seem like a nice person but she's not. I got my hair done with her and she didn't do my hair even close to how i asked . She left me spots on my head, and the color was off . She told me since i wasn't happy she can fix it or get my money back , and of course i didn't want to fix it she messed it up bad already what if she did it worse the second time ?? so i told her i want my money back and she got mad since she thought that i wouldn't ask for it back and went off on me just because i was upset that she did it bad . i asked family members, friends, and professional hair stylist and they said she does not know how to do her job . She ended up telling me to do my hair on my own since i "know better " then her and said i was the rudest client when i really wasn't i was just telling her hey so can i get my money back you didn't leave my hair right at all . At the end of it she came out by saying i'm only giving you $45 since i used so much product this and that . Marcela has been my stylist for over five years now. I followed her to this location when she opened up her own shop. In my opinion, she's the best....she cuts and colors my hair on a regular basis and I wouldn't even think about going elsewhere. Her shop is nice and clean and she has just added a manicure station that is staffed by Courtney, who has done my nails at another location for the past couple of years. Now my two favorites are together in one location! Yay! I was sorry to see Courtney leave but now Shana has begun doing nails here. She is fantastic...gel or regular polish. I bought a groupon for $99 for keratin hair straightening treatment. Before purchasing the groupon I did my research and this was a better option than Brazilian hair treatment. I have never been to a salon this was my first experience with a "professional" salon. When I came in for my appointment Marcela looked at my hair and stated it was going to $50 additional due to length and thickness I was upset about this as well. Marcela informed me that 72 hours later I can wash my hair with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, which I had already purchased Moroccan oil shampoo n conditioner from Amazon. I washed my hair Tuesday morning, blow dried it and flat iron it. My hair looked the same as it did before my treatment, no change I thought that maybe I rushed it so I re did the entire process today on Saturday and spent 20 mins blow drying and 45 mins flat iron in small portions still no change. I am unhappy with the owner of this salon. Her lack of professionalism has really put me off. I am a sick person, I went in for a cut by Brittany who is really a great stylist but she wasn't available. The owner offered Yolanda and so I decided to go for it. I arrived at the salon 10 minutes in advance of my appointment which was made by phone call with the owner. She knew I was sick as I made it very clear in the phone call. I was greeted by the owner, she seemed somewhat surprised that I was there for my 3:00. She offered me a seat and said that Yolanda would be with me shortly. Yeah. At 3:25, I finally asked if Yolanda was even in the shop. Bottom line, the owner allowed a 14 year old walk-in to have my appointment with Yolanda. The owner never apologized for her mistake. The owner never stopped talking to her male friend during my entire experience there. She never broke away to come and ask after me. Yolanda did a great job. If Yolanda and Brittany could see me at some other shop, I would enjoy having my hair done by either stylist. I will not go back to this shop due to the cold, unprofessional owner who lacked any decency to come and acknowledge me. read more

So.. was eating a sandwich at CJ's..(great big sandwiches btw)..and an effervescent, energetic young woman mentions her bathroom remodel(my industry) horror story..we talk and I find that she cuts hair next door. Being overdue for a cut but as a guy going to a "salon", for the first time, I was a little anxious. Marcella stayed open late because it was the only time I could make it and it was AwESomE!! Its really the experience that you pay for and the hair cut is an added bonus. I was in desperate need of a hair cut & color touch up!! My hair stylist raised her price on me & I wasnt able to afford it so I had to look around & wanted my hair cut that day if I could possibly get it. I looked around on Yelp & almost every Salon I looked at was closed Monday's. So I had gone to the gym which was right behind Endless Cuts & saw this, so after my work out I called them and told them I wanted my hair cut & possibly touched up & asked if I could get in that evening. The owner asked if she could call me back so she could see if someone could cut & possibly color my hair at 5:30pm. She called me back within 10 minutes & said I was able to go in at 5:30. From the time I had it scheduled to my appointment time I was a nervous wreck! I have gone to Great Clips, where they have messed up my hair (thankfully it grew back) & there was only 1 review on here which also made me nervous.. But like I mentioned before, I was in desperate need of a hair cut haha. I walked in, & it was actually a nice salon, a bit empty but could have been dirty or something. I told the girl what I wanted & she was the one that called me back & wasnt the one doing my hair. The girl doing my hair was washing another clients(her first time as well) hair. Once she was done with my hair she saw what I needed & went to get the color. I only had Blonde Peek-a-Boo highlights so it wasnt all around color but still Blonde is a hard color & can turn out wrong if you dont do it right. That turned out good, the cut turned out good. I had a coupon for first time clients receive a free haircut with any color. So I walked out paying $40. The hair cut was going to be $30 so still cheaper then most salons. The lady that did my hair was Talia, and overall she was pretty good! If someone wanted an inexpensive hair cut & possibly color, I'd definitely recommend her, if you are able to pay the high end price, then I'd go somewhere else but as for cheap, this is definitely a good place! read more

This is my second update (and third review) and you can see by the amount of check-ins I have here that I really love this place. I think it is my favorite place to go and get my hair washed and styled. I have long, really thick hair, and it's really difficult for me to do myself to get it to look right, so I enjoy getting it done by professionals. I started coming here because it's close to where I stay on weekends. It's also one of the cheapest hair salons I've found while also being one of the best. I like everyone here who's done my hair. Yolanda, Brittany, and Kylie are all great. (I like Alisa too, but I'm not sure if she works there anymore. I also had a fifth lady do my hair once or twice, I think her name was Margaret, but I haven't seen her there in a long time as well). I also like the manager, Marcela. She hasn't done my hair, but she always greets her customers with a smile and nice words. They ask if you want water or coffee and they usually have cookies or another snack near the water cooler. It's always clean, which is definitely a plus, and it looks nice. I love coming in here and getting my hair done, it is my only vice and it's really easy for me to relax in here. read more

I don't know where to start! I am so dissapointed with my hair. I ask Britney the stylist to do half up and half down ( not that difficult to do) and I felt she had a very hard time doing it. To make it easy on her I told her just to curl my hair ( big loose curls). I was not too happy with results especially not knowing that she was going to complete overcharge me! She charge me with this simple hair style 65 dollars!! I am so upset because I called her the day before and she let me know it would range from 40-45! To make matter worse, My curls did not last the whole night!
