I found this salon via Yelp, so I feel like I should sort of pay it forward by leaving a review of my experience as well. My 2 daughters and I have all gotten haircuts here in the past week, and we are all really, really happy with the results! We are multi-racial (I'm White/Japanese, and my kids are White/Japanese/Hispanic), and all three of us have very different hair textures. Mine is a mix of coarse and fine that is wavy in the back and curly in the front, my older daughter has thick but very fine hair that is mostly straight, and my younger daughter has EXTREMELY thick hair that is coarse and wavy with a little curl. In the past when we've gone to other salons closer to home, I've felt like no matter what we showed our stylist or how we described what we wanted, we always left with pretty much the same basic haircut. It wasn't ever really a bad haircut, just not quite what we wanted and little to no adjustments to account for different hair textures. So this time I decided to branch out a little further from home and started browsing Yelp reviews and photos. When I looked at the photos for Lia's salon, I noticed right away that there is much more variety in the style and shape of her haircuts than I was seeing at most other places. My daughters both had pictures of the cuts they wanted, and Lia did an amazing job of working with their hair texture to achieve the looks that they wanted. I just kinda described what I was going for, and she gave me a haircut that looked amazing and sleek when she styled it, and also looks super cute when I wear it with my natural curls and waves. We will definitely be coming back here from now on! Same Day The scalp treatment was a little minty, delicate and soothing. ‍ Not a harsh cold like Selsun blue. She also did a crackling foamy thing as well on my scalp. 8/18/25 I made a big boo boo when I to cut my own hair. It was pretty bad so I reached out to Lia to see if she had any openings. She was able to get me in same day and damage control. Both sides were uneven and I needed a cut that would still allow me to put my hair up halfway but also allow it to grow out to achieve length again. The salon I used to go to badly damaged my hair and scalp from the chemicals used in hair dyes. My scalp was red and some hair were falling off when I shampooed. Lia helped me restore my scalp. I think I found my new favorite salon! I decided to cut my hair very last minute and to try this place out. I'm so glad I did! Lia was so nice and welcoming when I first walked in. She did a little consultation on my hair and when I showed her a picture of the style I wanted to went into details of how she'll be cutting it. She was a bit shocked to see how long and thick my hair is, but that doesn't surprise me - most salon that I've been has the same reaction. She was pretty informative during the cutting stage by letting me know why she's trimming/ cutting my hair in a certain angle. When it came the washing my hair, she was incredibly knowledgeable about her hair products. I have never met any stylist educating me the types of shampoo, hair moisturizer, serum, etc that was used on my hair during service and I appreciate it so much. Lastly, I also love the music that's being played; it's very soothing and relaxing. Most places would crank up the volume and play the top hits or something up beat. My family of 4 all got our hair done by Lia (on separate days). I got my colors done and the rest of my family got their hair cut by Lia. Lia takes her time with consultation, making sure she understands what you are looking for while giving her expert opinion/suggestions on what would be good for your hair and what would look good. I wanted to forego getting my roots dyed regularly to hide my greys - instead I got highlights for the first time. Lia expertly placed highlights, so it will look more natural when my greys come out. My hair is quite flat and thin, so after talking to Lia I opted for the hair Botox. My hair looks and feels so shiny, soft and healthy - everything I wanted! She was able to see me same day at 5pm and was told it would be about an hour for the hair botox. It ended up being 2.5 hours, but I'm not complaining. I've been dyeing my hair at LIA SALON ORGANIC. The two things I liked were that first of all, when I went to the other hair shop, it smelled like hair dye and perm, but Lia salon was clean without that chemical smell. So I was able to get hair care in a comfortable atmosphere. Second, when I dried my hair after taking a shower in the evening, there was almost no hair dye on the towel. My first experience with Lia was back in 2024! I was anxious at that time to have somebody new doing my hair, but she was so kind and really took the time in listening to my concerns and understanding exactly how I wanted my hair done. She even spent time explaining how my hair should be taken care of, which is something I really appreciated because my knowledge in hair care is lacking... LOL! I was very impressed with her care and thoughtfulness. I knew right away that I'd be a returning customer :) Now in 2025 I've gotten my hair done by her again, this time in her new location!! The new location is nice, it's well lit and clean. My appointment was made last minute, but Lia was still able to take me in. I received excellent service just like the previous year! She used an iPad this time to show me examples of ways she could do my hair, which was nice because it gave me a better idea of how my hair would look from the back. And just like the previous year, she really took the time in answering my questions, giving recommended methods on how to take care of my hair, and then explained why those methods work. It's been a couple weeks now of using her recommendations, and I've definitely noticed a change in my hair.
