Yesterday, I had my lips done, and to be completely honest, I have a very difficult case. Not only do I have noticeable natural asymmetry in my lips, but I'm also extremely sensitive. On top of that, I had fibrosis from a previous, not-so-great experience with another "doctor." I've been to many places, and some injectors didn't even want to take me as a client. I finally decided to see Hanna (a PA and an experienced injector) after seeing her work on Instagram. Pros: 1.Zero waiting time! For me, this is very important--they really value my time. 2.Hanna and all the staff were very kind, especially considering how nervous I was. 3. Place itself beautiful and clean. 4. Hanna explained everything in great detail, step by step, taking into account my asymmetry and my fears. 5. All of the fillers were opened in front of me. 6. There is a medical provider on-site (a doctor in the office). 6.The RESULT! I can't explain how happy I feel. I feel confident again! My lips are so cute, proportional to my face, and most importantly--not overdone! No "duck lips"--just jucie, luscious lips! I am sharing an honest customer review regarding my horrible experience at Skin Envy. From November…read more2025 through April 2026, I did five full sessions of hair laser removal on many different body parts and had ZERO positive results. In other words, I wasted my money, energy and time. I paid for laser hair removal services in 2025 and was lured and pressured by staff to purchase the unlimited package that included all body parts with a total of six full sessions. I paid approximately $1900. When I purchased the services, I wasn't told that I have to use all designated body part laser hair removal services within the six sessions for all body parts. For example, if I start with the face in three months I can decide to do legs and that I must use the six sessions for the legs within six months from the time of purchase. Skin Envy did not list that anywhere in its policies, let alone, email it to customers. When I started coming, staff was pressuring me to purchase more services so that I end up spending more money. Beginning January 2026, staff told me and argued with me that I had only a total of 5 sessions, when in fact in 2025 purchased a total of six sessions. After arguing on and off with staff, I finally managed to convince them that I paid for a total of six sessions. No one apologized but at some point the receptionist simply said, "Oh I see what you mean. Actually, I see now that you do have a total of six sessions." As a result, I scheduled my last session at the end of April and had to call more than a week prior to the last session to reschedule and I was allowed to reschedule for early May. However, because of another schedule conflict in May I had to reschedule it for a second time within a week of notifying staff in advance. Yet, the owner told me that I cannot reschedule anymore because this was my second time rescheduling as I had reached the maximum allowed rescheduled appointments, and that it was listed in their policies, which in fact is a lie. Therefore, the owner only allowed me to use five sessions instead of the six sessions I paid for.  Some of the technicians that performed the laser hair removal services on me ignored my concerns when I told them that it was excruciatingly painful as I was screaming and lacked empathy and compassion for their customer refusing to provide a pain free alternative. The staff sadistically continued to perform laser hair removal on me while I was screaming out of pain, laughing at me and even made fun of me sarcastically by saying, "Oh honey, what's wrong with you? Why are you screaming? You're scaring my customers next door." Calling staff to schedule appointments was always an arduous and very unpleasant task. There were hardly any available times/days and staff to schedule services I paid for not leaving me with much choice in terms of availability. The owner and staff will not also tell you that they are using cheap machinery/equipment for hair laser removal even though the owner claimed that it was the latest technology. I switched to a higher quality hair laser removal place where the owner has invested in and uses machinery/equipment for hair laser removal that is $130,000. At the new laser hair removal place where I am at now, I have completed approximately 3 full sessions on the same body parts I did at Skin Envy a while ago and after the first session at the new hair laser removal place, I began to see AMAZING POSITIVE RESULTS. I am so relieved and happy to have left Skin Envy. Not to mention that the owner and staff have negative energy and are only interested in making a fast buck. The owner has ZERO customer service skills and would constantly talk over me instead of listening. Don't be afraid to cut her off when needed. She should go back to mommy and daddy to learn some manners. The owner is a con-artist scamming customers and only interested in taking their money. I have no apology or sympathy for base creatures willing to cater to the lowest common denominator to make a fast buck. You won't find any competent staff at Skin Envy that are experts on laser hair removal. Keep in mind also that Skin Envy staff and owners are not an LGBTQIA + friendly. Because of the above reasons, I do not recommend Skin Envy to anyone as it is not what you pay for. You will be wasting your money, energy and time.

This is a place for healing, where they take time to learn your body. You're never pushed into painful unnecessary massage techniques too early. Every massage was so thoughtfully done and catered to my current state, I can recommend their massage specialists enough! When looking for post-op after care you want it to feel like home, and this is exactly what Magic Post op was for me! Did I also mention their healing herbal tea is amazing? The recommendations for the supplies I would need such as rajas, foams and boards were spot on. The ones I originally got were not the best but based of their recommendations I as able to get the exact level of compression I needed. They also referred me to alteration specialists to adjust my faja as my size changed during the recovery. The attention to detail, the quality of the oils and just the overall atmosphere was such a healing experience. I think this might be the best post-op care in NYC and I'm grateful for everybody on their expert wellness team who worked with me.
