Smoothies are good which prompted me to go for breakfast with my girlfriend at the myrtle location. As stated in another review, the staff are non-communicative and not too friendly. No updates on our meal while we waited and at least 10 ppl walked in for drinks. Our meal finally came out approximately 20 mins later. The turkey bacon was good however the pancakes were cold and dry. Subpar meal for a pricey $27. Now I know to stick to the drinks which are comparable to other juice bars. read more

One of my go to places to order from. I've never had an issue with ordering and the food is the freshest and healthiest around. They have awesome dishes like the chicken with thia peanut sauce and the Buffalo chicken wrap, perfectly simple and delicious, never oily. They have a way of cooking chicken that results in the most tender and moist chicken I've ever had! Soooo good. The bison burger is right on too but the salmon burger, eh, not so much. For desert they have protein brownies for those of us who like brownies but don't want to look like it. Five stars for preparing healthy yummy food. read more

The food is decent for healthy food. I recommend 42a (salad and chicken skewers). I feel the idea of the place is good, especially the health aspect, however the application isn't brilliant. I don't know what the experience is like in person, but I would NOT order from this place for delivery. Seamless said the wait time was 20-40 minutes, and it ended up taking an hour and twenty minutes to get here. When it did, the "air fries" were cold and incredibly soggy. The "cold drink" was room temperature. My bison gyro was terrible. The "bison" tasted like bad beef in a lot of grease (probably not helped by the fact that it was also room temperature), the tzatziki sauce tasted nothing like tzatziki, and the lettuce and tomatoes on the wrap were wilted and gross. And the whole thing fell apart after the first bite. My boyfriend did like his Mediterranean wrap, but that opinion was probably influenced by the fact that we were starving by the time the food finally got here. Never again. read more

I used to really like the smoothies here, but I will no longer go here! I have been in there on three different instances (spread over 2 weeks) to be told that they do not have Kale or pineapples. This is not an inventory issue this type of establishment should have! Beyond that the two young ladies who work in the afternoon are rude and will allow a customer to stand at the counter while they move around never acknowledging or greeting the customer. Last night I ordered a bison burger and the Hangover Killer juice. The juice was amazing, super delicious, very fresh tasting and awesome. Felt good. The burger was also pretty damn good. However I haven't had bison in a while so I was like, mm, I guess bison is really good. So good in fact that I decided I wanted the same burger for lunch today! This time, I ordered the create your own plate, and was surprised when my burger was sans bun/lettuce/cucumber/tomato. I guess...that's okay? The burger this time was most certainly not made of what I ate last night. I think it was beef, but, I also haven't eaten beef in a while so I can't be sure. Regardless, I ate the whole thing. This is my first review. I love the food to death. However, you could order from next door and have them deliver, and you would wait over an hour. The same excuse applies everytime, "The kitchen was backed up." It doesn't matter what time of day you order. I could walk to the city and back and they still wouldn't be ready. First of all...Smoothies and Juices are AMAZING here. Those get 5 stars. However, I ordered chicken tortilla soup because its usually my favorite kind of soup, a little spicy just like I like it....and I got chicken soup with a handful of salty, cheap, tortilla chips squished into the bowl. This gets a one star for trying to fool me, a half would be appropriate. The soup was bland and the chicken was dry.- in the soup the chicken was DRY. And Tortilla soup doesn't look ANYTHING like chicken soup, in any variation, take this off your menu if you don't know how to make it. I threw it out and went back to bed to nurse my cold. I'm truly disappointed here people. Annoyed that I spent money on trash and waited almost an hour for it. read more

This is definitely a great place for healthy food. The menu is loaded with a wide verity of healthy choices. My favorite is the teriyaki chicken platter which is number 47 on the menu there's also a nice variety fresh juices and smoothies. This location is not very big, only about a half dozen tables but very clean.a young helpful staff. I love this place! The food is really delicious, and made pretty quickly. The create your own Energy Bowls are great, and the menu has so many options. It's a little on the pricier side for the area, but the portions are usually big enough so that you have leftovers, so it pretty much evens out in the end. It's definitely my go-to place for smoothies on the way to work. Tip: They have kind of a bad track record for deliveries. If you're close by, you're much better off just picking the food up. read more

My entire office orders here at least once a week. Today we placed an order at around 11:30am through delivery.com. Two hours later our food hadn't arrived. I call to find out what's up, and I get a very irate individual on the phone telling me that the restaurant is closed. I ask why we hadn't been contacted by either them or delivery.com about this and he continues to yell at me over the phone like I am making some kind of crazy request. I try asking for management, and he will not put me through to anyone. I call delivery.com and they are unable to get anyone from Energy Fuel on the phone. Delivery.com handled the situation relatively well given the fact that they were not informed of the restaurant being closed. We won't be ordering from this restaurant again. This is not the first time we've heard excuses from them -- we've heard about flat tires, no electricity, you name it. It's a terrible shame because their food is really great, but they are incredibly disorganized and unreliable. Now we'll add "rude" to that list. If you have mouths to feed in even a halfway timely manner, don't even think about ordering from here. read more

I have gotten the wrong order twice in a row and the second time, they did not even bring the drink I ordered because they didn't have it. I've ordered several times from here now via seamless but for some reason my reviews didn't get posted so I wanted to post here so that everyone knows how delicious the food. My favs are bison and chicken super protein meal,bison and chicken quesadilla and baked sweet potato fries. The portions are also decent size and good value and because it's healthy and fresh it's a great post work out meal. Delivery has always been fast. Total Ripoff. I order from Energy Fuel in Bayridge & Ridgewood all the time. I always order the Chicken Chipotle Salad. In Clinton Hill you receive half the size than in the other locations for the SAME price. On top of that you also do not get the bread with the salad which you do at the other locations. This should not be happening. When I asked the employee why they offered half the size for the same amount she responded that only the box was smaller. I assured her that it was not just the box. She just said sorry and thats it! I also ordered the salad with Avocado and was charged for the Avocado. When the employee gave me the food I told her that they forgot to include the avocado and the bread. She told me: "you did not order avocado...." wow but you sure did charge me for it. After some back and forth she took back the salad and added the avocado but did AGAIN not add the bread. At that point I was just annoyed and left the place pretty upset. This is also the first time I invited 3 colleagues of mine to try the food and before arriving there I told them about the great size salads they offer. When they received the tiny portions, they thought it was a joke. This was the first and last time I visit this location. If you offer smaller portions than you should charge less! Way to treat a loyal customer!!!!! read more

This is one of the first places I've eaten had since moving to brooklyn a year ago and I still eat there because I love the food, but the delivery service at this location is unbelievably bad! If you order delivery from there, just keep in mind you might not get your food for hours, if even at all! And when you get it, it most likely will be cold!
