I arrived a few mins early and was greeted by a friendly guy behind the desk, directed to sit and complete a pre-massage questionnaire, and a few moments later, Kate came and took me through the hallways to find an empty room. The space is cute, but you can tell the building is older because of the creaking floors - it doesn't impact the rest, just making note. Kate looked into a couple of rooms before finding an empty one, which I found strange, as they should have some way of noting which rooms are in use vs. empty, so that's my main suggestion. Kate provided instruction on where to set my personal items, etc and return a few mins later when we were ready to get started. I agreed to allow them to step on me, which was a new experience for me. What I will say is that while Kate was physically on the smaller side, she used everything to dig out any knot she could find - hand, elbows, feet, etc. I have had a few massages over the years and this one hurt the most. I did not tell her to let up because the point of me going was to work them all out. I was left with some redness/bruising in a few areas that got extra attention, but that can be expected. Overall, it was a smooth process from booking until the end. They do offer a slight discount for cash payments, and just FYI: you cannot add tip payments when using a gift card, those must be paid separately.

She just hardly rubbed her hands over my back for 45 minutes. Never any pressure and she did not hit my pain spots. Next, my appointment was canceled again. Then, my appointment was canceled again, they must get sick frequently at Zendulgence or I am just very unlucky. Finally, I have my last appointment. I had 2 add-ons. My massage was 60 minutes with 2 add-ons, which took 25 minutes between the two. THEY TOOK MY MASSAGE TIME FOR THE ADD-ONS! Yes, they charge me full price for a massage of 60 minutes, they charge extra money for the add-on but did NOT add-on any time. In fact, she ended a couple of minutes early. I feel like I was swindled out of massage time for the add-ons.

She also did some range of motion with the limbs and stretching so it was a combination of that along with massage. She seemed to go quick over whole body and then would take her time and go back to the focus areas which was super relaxing and did a good job hitting those knots and kneading them out. My husband had Elvira and she sounded like the opposite of Danielle in terms of style - very slow paced and relaxing. He said she didn't hit any of his focus areas though that he filled out on the sheet. I told him it sounds like we should've switched masseuses haha. Tips are cash only preferably I believe.

They have the whole locker room set up with robes, sandals, hygiene products, personal lockers, and stocked showers, and it's always so clean. The waiting areas are spacious with relaxing music, essential oils, magazines, water, and snacks to accommodate whatever vibe you are looking for. They also offer heated neck wraps, which is a personal fave. I always opt for the muscle meltdown, which is their deep tissue massage. I've had Liz several times and am always impressed. She and all the other therapists are professional and super great at what they do. I will be a longstanding repeat customer!
