We were hoping to find a reliable local print shop for our company's promotional materials, but unfortunately, Engrave and Embroider fell short. After several false starts with other vendors, we came to them with high hopes. My wife provided digital artwork and a physical hat sample to their employee, Rudy on August 29, 2025, and was told proofs would be ready by the next day. That deadline came and went without delivery. After follow-ups on September 1 and 2, we learned Rudy had gone on vacation and nothing had been done. David, the manager, stepped in and sent proofs on September 5. The t-shirt proof looked great and was approved. The embroidery proof arrived shortly after, but due to timing and the assumption that the logo would match the shirts, my wife approved it without noticing a missing detail. When we picked up the order on September 19, the t-shirts were perfect--but the hats were not. The logo was incorrect, and the embroidery quality was noticeably inferior to our previous vendor in Apple Valley (I've attached pics and the artwork for comparison - see if you can tell the difference). David acknowledged the issue and invited us to return the hats if we couldn't live with the mistake, and they would make it right. However, when my wife returned them, the owner, Danny, focused on the fact that she had approved the proof and offered only to reorder the hats if we paid an additional $360. Despite the fact that they had the correct artwork and a photo reference, they still altered the logo--and expected us to absorb the cost. As a business owner myself, I believe in making things right for the customer, even if it means taking a loss. Danny clearly doesn't share that philosophy. We're now left with hats we can't use and will be returning to our previous vendor for quality and service we can trust. I wanted to leave a 5-star review. Instead, I'm leaving disappointed. Runday Nights is a new Run Club in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. To represent our Club at the LA Marathon, we ordered a flag and couldn't be any happier! We also added the flag pole to our order.
