I got a deluxe manicure, and it included a desultory massage I could have just as easily done myself. Finally, the attitude of the staff did not put me at ease. On the other side of the salon, where there were no customers, it sounded like there was a party going on, but it was just staff members. I was not impressed, and particularly not for the price.

It was a fruitless journey, so I finally decided the two hour drive north was worth a perfect full set. To my surprise, after three years the owner still remembered me and exactly how I liked my nails. And let me tell you, for the first time since 2009 I am extremely happy with how my nails turned out. He takes so much time to make sure that each nail turns out perfect. Plus I love that he offers solar nails which means instead of waiting for paint or gel to dry, he does a a buff, and the nails stay shiny longer. It's more expensive, but it's worth it. Even after three weeks, he made sure my fill looked perfect. I don't think the PNW has a place better and I will continue to drive two hours on Saturday's to come here

Not sure if I want to come back... I don't like when businesses trick people like that or have hidden services that are not brought up in advance ... (Nina, thank you for the reply, I appreciate it! I felt welcomed the moment I walked in. I arrived kind of early so my stylist wasn't there yet, so I took in my surroundings and watched another stylist work her magic. My stylist, Cassie, walked in about five minutes after me and greeted me with a big smile. I showed Cassie a couple of pictures of what I wanted, and she knew exactly what I wanted. She got to work, all the while making sure I was comfortable. We had a pleasant conversation... and soon, it was unveiling time. I was quite surprised by the outcome -- it was *exactly* what I'd asked for! I've been admiring the results all morning. She carefully explained how to care for my new perm and made sure to caution me not to wash it for at least two days (I usually wait 3 just in case). The experience was wonderful and I am really happy with the results. Perms always look much better on me after the first wash... I'm so looking forward to seeing the final result because I know it's just what I'd requested. I am now going to ditch my previous salon and switch over to Looking Glass for everything because I know they understand what I want and they aren't shy about spending the time to achieve the look I want. Tina is an artist! She is also a lovely person. She did a beautiful job on my acrylics and New Nail Spa is affordable. I saw Tina's work decorate the fingers of one of her clients who I happened to meet in the course of running errands. I loved what I saw; elegantly designed tips perfect a for late fall, early winter look. I hastened home to book my appointment! I will be spending Thanksgiving out of town and while I encouraged Tina to express her creative side she cautioned that as I would be out of town, it would be unadvisable. What if I broke one? Who could copy her art? So we agreed to wait until I need them filled and at that time she will let her imagination guide her hand. She insisted I tip her less! Remarkable integrity! I'm not from Bellingham, I stopped here on a business trip and the services were excellent, this is the cheapest ped I have never paid for but the most wonderful that i have never had, A ped with $20.00 i thought people just gonna spend 20 min with me, but no they spend like 45 min, great massage, great services. can't complain anymore I had acrylic nail on which was thick and they did a backfill in 20 min but a beautiful job much much thinner than the one i had on, for only $25 bucks I wish i live in Bellingham instead of Seatttle so I can go to great salon like this If you live in Bellingham and never been here before, it's your lost read more

I booked my bridal shower here at this salon and they did a great job with total 8 of us, there was no rush and people are supper friendly they gave us a huge discount with was very helpful I have their massage, really deep instead of just superficial like other places that i went, their flowers on the bride maid toes were beautiful, we all love our pedicures and manicures, i got an acrylic set which turn out the greatest that i have never had before, if you want to schedule for for bridal shower, this is an excellent place read more

This is my go to place for a pedicure in Bellingham. I have been a customer since the New Nail Spa opened and don't want to go anywhere else. Friendly and very affordable. They use newly sterilized tools on each customer, which is a big thing for me. Great massage along with the pedicure. I love this place and recommend it to my friends. read more

It's one of the bigger nail salons I've seen in Bham, with plenty of comfy pedicure seats and manicure stations. We picked basic gel pedis, but they offer more full-service options including leg massages, heated towel wraps, etc. The technicians were friendly and professional, and they have literally a zillion colors to choose from.
