On this day in Venice we decided to do some bar (actually cicchetti-bar) hopping.
This was the first on our list, having some good feedback. We tood a table outside...just one was still available. We got the food and the drinks inside. Staff was friendly.
We ordered two Aperol Spritz. Fair priced, good, refreshing. Then some fried Bacalau, quail eggs, some fried meatball and a bacalau cicchetti with mayo.
The fried Bacalau was really good. Fresh, tender, tasty. But the other items were a bit of a let-down. Not really much flavours, a bit on the bland side. Maybe we've been spoiled from our visit to the amazing All'Arco the day before. It was an okay start....but not great. Prices are fine though. read more
