Shahin at Ensy Tailor is absolutely wonderful. At the beginning of November I needed a gown altered very last minute. I tried many places and stressed the urgency for when I needed the gown. Needless to say they completely did not care and were rude. Shahin was so kind and caring she said she would take care of it for me. When I picked up the gown it fit perfectly. I got so many compliments on my gown at the event. Although I should not have waited until the last minute, I am so very grateful I found Shahin. I will definitely be returning. I went to Ensy Tailor after reading all the glowing reviews. I gave Shahin a dress to be altered and also paid up front. That has been more than 2 months now. Everytime I call she gives me an excuse. I got tired of calling her asking if the dress is ready for pick up. Now I am just waiting to see if she would give me a call to say that she is finished with the alteration on the dress. read more

I went in to have my work uniform dress tailored. She charged me a total of $85 to hem it add an invisible zipper and bring in the sides. I really didn't want the invisible zipper. I didn't even know what that was. It's basically a less noticeable zipper. She convinced me to go to Hobby Lobby to buy it myself. She said to get it a certain length. They didn't have that length so she said thats ok get the shorter one. She gave me an estimate of two weeks for it to be finished. I came in 3 weeks later and it was NOT finished. She said give her another day. I gave her a few more days. I picked up the dress and she had not put on that zipper she recommended! The lining was also torn and messy inside. She said she would fix it in a few more days. I got the dress and it was hard to put on because that stupid zipper was too short! Then when I wore the dress to work it ripped. I asked her if she would fix it for free considering all the other awful service. She said yes. Then when I went in she said no I don't do anything for free. I am very upset because these uniform dresses are discontinued and hard to find. She ruined my dress, made me pay $85 which is a ridiculous price, and had me waiting over a month for poor service. She never tailored it on time or correctly. I feel duped. I highly recommend finding a different tailor. I had the worst experience of my life with her. read more

i have a HUGE problem with this tailor. everything started okay when i brought her an off the shoulder dress with broken elastic i needed fixed in a week for my graduation. she said she could do it, but only if i went out to a craft store and bought her the elastic myself. what?? i figured maybe since it was short notice, that is why. so i did it. i got the dress and it looked great and was a decent price. next i brought her a pair of jeans that just needed the ankle/calf area taken in. she charged me like $50 to do that to two pairs of jeans, and the stitching on one of the pairs is GOD AWFUL. it is literally coming out and the worst sewing job i have ever seen. unfortunately i didn't notice this until i was wearing the jeans at work. when i picked up those jeans i dropped off two dresses. one of which i asked to be made not see-through (with an extra sewn layer) and one of which i needed the arms loosened like one inch. she AGAIN asked me to go buy fabric, with no specification. when i brought it back to her she says to me "why didn't you get stretchy fabric?" excuse me? if i knew how to sew and pick out fabrics i would be doing my own alterations. she then decides that since i have no rush, i will pay ahead of time and she will call me when it is finished. MONTHS pass. like 3 or 4. and i'm like okay i want my dresses back. i go in and the see through dress is not only still see through, but also has a broken strap. the dress with the tight arms was completely loosened all around by like 7 inches making it completely unflattering. her excuse for not calling me was that she lost my phone number. what??! i told her what was wrong and she says "okay i'll fix it and call you when it's done." it has probably been 8 months since then. no phone call. no nothing. she has quite literally STOLEN clothing AND money from me. absolutely the worst tailor experience to date. read more
