I brought my dress in to get hemmed and the waist taken in. She chalked the hem but when I showed her how big it was around the waist and arms she just told me I was only wearing it for a day and it will be fine. She also told me that it didn't need it and that she couldn't do it. Not sure by she couldn't do it, there was plenty of time before the big day. When I went back a week later to get the hemmed dress there was another person who was trying on her dress for the tailor. It needed hemmed and taken in. When they told the tailor that they wanted the waist taken in, she took one look at it and said the exact same thing she told me, it's only for one day. when the tailor was done with the other customer I tried on my dress. The hem was fine but when I talked with her again about the waist she said yes it needs to be taken in but now she was to busy. I got out of there immediately and took it to another local tailor and they are taking care of what this establishment wouldn't. If your looking for only easy work this is the place but anything with more effort I would find another place. read more
