I have been a patient of Dr. Hiebert for a few years now. I appreciate how he listens to my concerns and provides solutions. Dr. Hiebert doesn't waste my time, which I also appreciate. He gets to the point and does all that he can to help. My left ear has a necessary T-tube in it which can cause some discomfort from time to time, but Dr. H always suggest the right over-the-counter medication or prescription medication to alleviate the discomfort. Honestly, it works every time! The inner ear is such a small and essential part of all of us and Dr. Hiebert is extremely knowledgeable about how it functions. I have referred my own children and dear friends to Dr. Hiebert, all of which have had very positive experiences. He treats me with respect and desires a positive outcome for my health as much as I do. Sidenote - I always have an easy and efficient experience with the office staff and audiologists, too. I have suffered with horrific allergies the last several years since moving to the PNW from the Midwest. Dr Hiebert did a thorough examination, intake, was extremely knowledgeable, detailed oriented, and spent lots of time listening and providing me with all the information to move forward with a plan to find and treat the root cause of my allergies. Not only is Dr. Hiebert incredibly brilliant and one of the top Dr's in his profession, he has incredible bedside manner and is kind, compassionate, and emotionally intelligent. Dr. Hiebert has been my ENT doc for two years. I've had several appointments and procedures done there. I took my newborn son to see him for the first time today for a tongue tie. Dr. Hiebert is always very professional and caring. He was very gentle and explained everything he was doing. I've always had exceptional care from him and his staff. They are always kind and friendly. I was surprised to read some of these other negative reviews. I'm sure all clinics have disgruntled patients that turn to reviews to air out their grievances. Dr. Hiebert stepped into one of my most stressful life events and absolutely saved the day - I was diagnosed with mouth cancer and needed help figuring out the next steps. Dr. Hiebert saw me within 2 hours of my diagnosis but another provider, ordered the CT scan I needed and personally called and arranged to have me seen at OHSU. Without him, I don't know what would have happened! I do know that my care would have been delayed as my periodontist couldn't find anyone to take a new patient with my insurance. I literally could and probably would have died without Dr. Hiebert and will be forever grateful for him; He went far above and beyond to care for me. read more

I called Dr. Hiebert when my daughter woke me up from a nap complaining that she had put something in her nose and couldn't get it out. Dr. Hiebert fit us into his schedule the same day. He was kind and calm and explained - not easy to a young child! - how he was going to do a nasal scope to ensure nothing was lodged in her nose. She tolerated the procedure well and Dr. Hiebert gave us clear indications of what to watch for after her visit. He was thorough and appropriate and took care of both my daughter (and me as her stressed mom!) during the appointment.
