Went here yesterday with my girlfriend and she had a BLAST! The owner was very nice and professional and the establishment on the outside seems odd, but that's part of the charm because once you're inside it's way different, it gave me this "something mysterious is about to happen" feeling. We chose was espionage and I myself didn't enjoy that much because it was far more puzzle heavy than I'd like, but I really really enjoyed seeing my lady have a great time. The best part was is we didn't go home not knowing the ending. The owner extended us time so she could solve the mystery. So I was extremely happy for that. Seriously love Immersion escape rooms. They have set the bar HIGH for other escape rooms in the area, and just in general. The rooms are so well thought out and decorated in such a way that you feel like you're in it for real. Absolutely obsessed! My friends and I have done a couple at the Marysville location, all of which we loved, and heard about their Lynwood location and decided to give it it go! I'm glad we did. We even got to meet one of the two owners of Immersion Escape Rooms - he was the live actor in the room we did - VERY cool to get to talk to him and see what other rooms they're currently working on. e came with a group of 7 and did the Espionage puzzle. This was my first escape room (other than playing those Japanese flash games back in the day -- e.g. "The Crimson Room", "The Viridian Room") so I didn't know what to expect. But wow, what a fun time! We didn't quite finish, unfortunately, because we wasted bunch of time on a very silly thing (very obvious once we figured out what we'd missed) and the clock ran out. But we still had a great experience and the host was very friendly and helpful with a couple hints. He said only 20% of people finish the puzzle, so we felt pretty good knowing we got very close! We will definitely come back and try his other puzzles in the future! read more

This was my first escape room, and I had so much more fun than I thought I would! Puzzles were challenging and diverse, and the storyline was fun. It really was an immersive experience in a beautiful space--lots of room to lounge and warm up with brainteasers (or not!) with your group. Besides being a ton of fun, it's an amazing chance to see personality and work styles in action, so if you're looking for a great teambuilding experience that's fun AND functional, it doesn't get much better than this. It's a great avenue to explore communication styles, leadership skills, task delegation, focus, harmony, and listening skills. Of course, you don't have to dissect the experience at all--it's so much fun just to go through it! read more

We had a great time! I thought the room was challenging but not so hard that it was discouraging. The challenges were diverse so it will appeal to everyone. The owner was awesome and cares about making sure that it is a fun experience. This was my first escape room experience and it wasn't good. Did the cell and it was dark the whole time. The staff was horrible taking over 5 minutes when calling in for a hint. Asking for another hint he wasn't helpful and we had to use our 3rd hint. He wasted a lot of our limited time and then didn't give us any extra time even though there was nobody after us. I plan to go to more escape rooms, but not with this company. Super frustrating. read more

Two of my friends and I decided to do an escape room on a whim. Honestly we had the BEST experience. None of us had never done an escape room before so we didn't really know what to expect, but we were blown away. The lady who checked us in was super nice. The owner gave us the background story on the room and a couple of logistics about the room before letting us in. Everything about the rooms was amazing. The setup, the props, the clues. Everything! It definitely gave us an adrenaline rush. If we were super stuck we'd get a nudge in the right direction which was encouraging. We didn't make it (we were only two clues short), but the owner was super nice and gave us some more time on the clock to finish. After he chatted with us for a bit. Really nice guy! You can tell he absolutely loves what he does! He told us all about how each room is designed to be done on its own (they have a location in Lynnwood and Marysville), but they're all connected, so if you do more rooms you'll see how they connect! You can tell so much thought when into it. Will definitely be back to try new rooms! read more

We tried out the espionage room. It was only the two of us and we didn't finish it in time, but it was so engaging that we wanted to figure it out! Fortunately there was a gap in the schedule after us so Ryan let us fumble our way through it. The whole puzzle was exhilarating and if we'd just made a few more associations earlier on I think we couldn't finished it under the clock... maybe. Would definitely recommend, and we're going to find the time to attempt the other current room as well. read more

We came here as a surprise from our boss for fun, we were not sure what to expect especially when we were left in a sparse room w hardly anything to go on, little did we know how much we could uncover! It was an amazing time and though extremely difficult, we did complete it ( w a little extra time from the owner). The entire experience was rad. The owner took our pic for us after and even offered us some of the other party's b day cake after. I had an amazing time so did our entire staff! This was my 2nd escape room experience. The 4 of us did "Espionage." It was a very puzzle heavy room, which makes it difficult. I would have preferred not quite so difficult, but I suppose it's our fault for choosing the hardest room. Compared to the other escape room I did, Espionage was definitely more challenging, but also more basic in terms of decor, atmosphere and different type of puzzles. We had fun trying to solve it, but got frustrated and felt like the clues didn't provide enough information to do much good... but clearly we were just not smart enough because we didn't solve it. Ryan was very nice, he extended our time and helped us and was very patient with our clear inferiority and stupidity. He chatted with us about his escape room experience etc...He was a very pleasant, knowledgeable host, and obviously intelligent. The location isn't what I expected, but then again I've only ever been to 1 other escape room, so it's not like I have a vast amount of experience to base my opinion on. It was clean, well taken care of, and easy to find. I would go back again and try his other room "The Cell." Overall a very fun experience, and would recommend. However next time I'm bringing smarter people! Thanks Ryan! Looking forward to the release if your new room "Casino Heist." *Sidenote there is a BYOB policy that is not advertised. I personally still wouldn't bring alcohol because...well we would have done worse! But just to let others know it's a nice option. read more

Ok for beginners if you just want something very simple, but I was not impressed at all with this escape room. No tech, just normal locks. Very homemade. Also when I went, one of the locks didn't work. We had the right combo and the game master (if he was paying attention) must have known, but he just let us try over and over again until we finally asked for a clue and then he came in undid the lock and still counted it as a clue. If you want an AMAZING experience in the area better go to IMMERSION. read more

My 14yo and I were free from the wild half of our family and decided to try out Espionage. It was really clever. At first, I thought the room looked really empty but it just kept revealing more and more layers of puzzles. We didn't make it in time--Ryan even gave us extra time since it was only two of us--but we liked it so much we played his other room. This time, we escaped. Why bother going south for the escape rooms that are hit or miss? This room had me entranced in the scenario and made me really feel like I was there for a purpose. Free drinks while you wait your turn, friendly owner that cares for his business and customers satisfaction, and interactive puzzles. This place is a gem just off 99. 10 of us visited. Had a great time. Good story line to work with. Absolutely no reason to go all the way to Seattle. Keeps you busy for sure. Lots of fun and great event for anyone or group. This room was so much fun! The puzzles were challenging and flowed together very well - it had a good variety of clues and puzzles that kept you on your toes.
