I bought a used Chrysler Pacifica from enterprise car sales in Gilbert. Within less than a year, but fortunately, while barely still under warranty, the transmission completely went, requiring a full replacement to the tune of nearly $15,000. Not quite a year later, we are again experiencing engine issues and the passive idol system through which the car shuts off went out of traffic. Light is completely disabled, and the car won't turn over. Today I had to have it towed to my mechanic. Considering I put about $7000 down and financed another approximately $24,000. I should not be having these problems within about 18 months of the purchase. The warranty is expired and it is on me, but I do not want others to make the same mistake I did. I have learned that there was information about the condition of the vehicle that was not shared with me and now because of its condition, I am underwater on my loan. I would never, and I emphasize never buy a car through enterprise car sales again. They make the stereotype jokes about used car salesmen seem very appealing. The reality is, everything is for sale - for a price. Everything. I am currently renting a car that I want(ed) to purchase. I told them that even though it is on the higher side of miles and has some dings / dents I wanted pricing and to likely buy it. It took two full business days to give me a BS reason for a "no" and the usual used car salesman attempts to sell me something else. Don't assume people are stupid or are still buying the COVID nonsense. I'm not interested. I also already got a loan and purchased a vehicle (exactly what I wanted) for a better price than they were offering on an older vehicle with more miles. We cannot complain about price. The car was in great condition however the paint is covered in "ghost hologram" from a very rushed buffing job. We attempted to go through enterprise to have it fixed. First they tried to tell me that most black cars look like that. They said that they don't have cars buffed and they were fine selling the car that way. They then offered to send it to their retailer who "does all their buffing work". Strange since they don't buff cars. The car returned without any changes. I would not recommend purchasing from that location once we purchased the vehicle and the 7 day return period ended, they really stopped with the great service. There price was great however we're now about to spend $1,000 to have the car stripped buffed and the wax reapplied. Oh, when they say they will refund you your gap insurance if you purchase or refinance your vehicle within one month, don't believe them. We purchased our vehicle May 4, refinanced it June 2, and still have not received anything. They are the ones who mail it in. Who knows even if they did. Shady business practice there. read more

Was very excited for my new car! beautiful. everything went great in the process even the sales men was lovely and I had to come back in the morning due to the plates not being able to print. No problem. They said it would be nice and cleaned and ready to go for me! When I arrived they hadn't cleaned it and had to wait while they did that. Started to not feel as important since the paperwork was signed it's like no one longer cared About customer service. about 1 week in brakes were making noises and my computer screen and radio were malfunctioning staying black or staying on a call until I turned the engine off. When I called they said well that's why you paid for a warranty. what happened to the full inspection they claim they do ? Well I'm now 3 car payments in and more issues with the car. The brakes had to be replaced and which warranty didn't cover and also had to replace battery which also isn't covered. How convenient. Here is the thing about buying a car - when you buy a new one, there is supposedly a certain amount of immediate depreciation that occurs when you drive a car off the lot. Unless you just have to have a new car it makes a good amount of financial sense to buy a used car. However, if you go to a general used car place, they may not have a strong desire to build an ongoing relationship with you, they may want to make as much money as they can make off you, in a one off economic exchange. What you want is a place that sells used cars that sees the benefit of an ongoing customer relationship, a place that doesn't want you just to buy a car but to use them every time you need to rent a car - enter Enterprise Car Sales. For a place like Enterprise a used car is a commodity, one where they see the need to make a reasonable amount of profit relative to the recognized value of the car but not a situation where they want to leverage you for all the money they can make on a one off exchange. My own experience was quite pleasant. I looked at the sorts of cars they had available online and then sent in a request for a contact. I immediately received a callback from Phil Biehl, one of their car salespersons and we set up a time for me to come in the following week. He was even nice enough to call me the day before to better dial in on what time a car I was considering buying. When I came in he let me know that the car I was considering had the price dropped on by about a $1K - it seem Enterprise tracks the recognized values of their cars and if they drop they adjust the price downwards - this makes sense in a business model where the company is seeking a defined profit percentage - think Wal-Mart and their roll-back of prices when they work out a better deal with a supplier. I then sat with Evan Chelini, the Assistant Sales Manager, who provided me with a list of options for the purchase, including tinting the windows and a 4 year warranty plan (which I bought) and other options that I decided I didn't want - it was no pressure, and the warranty plan included a free rental car if my own vehicle had to go into the shop and as per their rental practice they would even pick me up at my house and take me to the nearest spot to pick up the rental car. Now, here is the final thing, when you buy a car from Enterprise, you have, I believe, 7 days or a 1K miles to decide you don't want to buy the car and they only charge a $200 restocking fee - similar to when you return something at Amazon - once again, a clear indication that their business model is about maintaining and building an ongoing relationship versus a one-off economic exchange. Well, that was my experience and I would happily buy my next car from Enterprise - that will not be, hopefully, for at least a decade and in the meantime, when I need to rent a car for a road trip (don't use your own car for a road trip people, rent a car so your own vehicle lasts longer) I'll gladly continue to do it through Enterprise. :-) read more

My daughter and I bought her first car from here, and the sales rep was great. Not the reason for the 2 stars in the negative, but the reason I gave 2 stars for the positive. The reason it's 2 stars and not lower is because of the car service. I had the vehicle taken to be serviced within the 7 day buy back deal, and was told of some things that needed repaired. I took the vehicle back for service, and relayed what the mechanic said including the report and was told the repairs would be done. They were not!!! After having the vehicle for 2 weeks and drove it instead of towing which used my gas (the sales rep put gas in the vehicle upon pickup), the repairs weren't even completed. I didn't receive a diagnostic report or a report of completion, and I know why now it's because the repairs weren't done!!!!! I should of known not to go through enterprise, but my daughter was so determined to buy a car. She saved up her hard earned money from her job, while being a high schooler who plays sports as well, just to be lied to and invested in a company who didn't care. Shame on the certified repair enterprise service company in Phoenix who was responsible for the repairs. Shame on you!!!! I plan to review you on every platform I can get the word out. read more

I worked with Erika (maybe I misspelled the name, perhaps it's with a "c"?) and she was thoroughly knowledgable about the 2012 Ford Focus I wanted to buy (this was in Oct. 2012). During a test drive, she helped me sync my cell phone via bluetooth and showed me how easy it was to stream music wirelessly through the stereo. That's not a level of expertise I expected. There was absolutely no pressure, Erika knew what she was talking about when discussing the car with me (I did many hours of homework first), and I was so impressed that I bought the car. More than a year later, I have not one complaint. I signed up for an extended warranty but I haven't had a single claim against it. As an example of how great this car is, even the tires they gave me lasted for more than 30,000 miles (I drive back and forth from Phoenix to Yuma on a weekly basis, so I've done 35k+ miles in 15 months) before needing replacement. I was so pleased by the experience and I'm so happy with my car that I would not hesitate to buy from them again. I wouldn't write off the bad reviews as they may be entirely legitimate, but I was COMPLETELY SATISFIED with both my experience and the car I bought. If you get a sales person there who doesn't give you a good vibe, then go with your gut. I had someone who was excellent, they lived up to the "no haggle" advertising, so I bought the car and I've been thoroughly happy ever since. read more

WOW - what a terrible experience. I had purchased a car from the same place about 4 years earlier. That prior experience coupled with the great performance and value we got from the car we bought at the time, made us come back. Mistake was thinking the same people or at least people like those we had worked with would be at Enterprise. We put in an offer to buy a used car. They took our downpayment and promised to have the car moved from CA. The next day we were informed that an Enterprise Car Sales office in CA had also sold the car. If it had not been for our expressing our discontent among many other emotions that were shared, we would not have prevailed. The car eventually arrived. They then proceeded to nickel and dime us for every little thing. My recommendation, go to CARMAX. They kept "forgetting" to give me the carfax. when they finally gave me a printed copy, it had a page missing and it looked odd but I couldn't tell there was a page missing. Until I sold this car about a year later for a better-gas-mileage car to the Honda dealer, which pulled up the REAL carfax and said, you never saw this in the carfax? and showed me that it had been in a front-end collision! (no wonder when I took it to see if anything was wrong w/ it in the 7-day grace period, they found a motor mount missing and couldn't explain, but Enterprise did pay for everything I found wrong--however, when they said the rim was bent, the Enterprise manager, Travis, suddenly said, that's IT--not paying for any more things! and I couldn't believe his nerve after I found out they hid a serious car accident from me. Didn't get a chance to return one call and had a guy call me and this was his exact words after I said hey who's this I couldn't hear you because he cut out. He said "hey I'm so and so I'm with Enterprise and I'm trying to sell a car.... do you know how that works." I immediately let him know I didn't like his attitude and he hung up. I felt that was very unprofessional and I won't be purchasing a truck from enterprise. Just wanted to make you aware enterprise... you just lost a customer. I couldn't have asked for someone better to meet my needs. He did not pressure me in any way but genuinely had my interest in mind. He wanted nothing more but to give me more than what I hoped for. I bought a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and it is in perfect shape. They showed me the carfax right away and it had no previous accidents. I could tell that they took extra care of it before they sold it. We are getting zero support, but they have told us several times "it really not our problem, we can take car back only for the first 7 days. Best car buying experience of my life. I'll never go back to a traditional dealership again. Phil was my sales person. He was terrific. I told him my budget and what I was looking for in a car. Together we found the vehicles that matched my criteria. I test drove the cars. Next we checked the safety and reliability ratings online of the several I was considering. Then a second, longer test drive of the one I liked the best. It happened to by a hybrid. I didn't know what a hybrid was. I liked the car already but when Phil told me how great the gas mileage was I was sold. There was no pressure and no haggling. No BS that the traditional dealerships make you put up with. I am very happy with the car I bought, the price I paid and the experience I had. I got a wonderful car that looks and feels brand new even though it was a 2014. It has less than 22,000 miles on it and I paid under $15,000. If all that weren't enough, financing only took about an hour due to the no haggle prices. The best, hassle-free car buying experience of my life. I'd gone to several dealers in the Gilbert Motorplex and all were fairly typical in that they over-promise and under-deliver; blindsiding you with outrageous fees and options that were never discussed. Enterprise treated me with respect, found me a very nice car, gave me higher end KBB value for my truck and aside from state tax, charged me only $199 for processing. Available options were discussed prior to purchase (I got a 2-year extended warranty in addition to the 1-year dealer warranty they offer, which extended roadside service from 1 to 3 years) and my payments were under $200 per month. My sales person, Jamie, was a refreshing change from your average salesman. Extremely honest and forthright, pointing out pros and cons of each vehicle, never once trying to "handle me". She is the "anti-salesman". Ask for her. The guys doing the finance were great too, especially Will. I highly recommend stopping in to see what they can do for you. Tell 'em Mikey sent you and enjoy a free glass of beer, wine or sangria on the house! Ok, I made that last bit up. They don't serve alcohol, silly. read more

We had a great experience BUYING the car at the Tempe store. Our salesperson was knowledgeable and very mannered. The problem occured three months later. When I called the same store to find out whether or not the POS 12 month warranty would take care of a tire repair, I was given a claim number and told to take the tire to the tire sales place of my choice. I did that, driving 10 miles on my spare tire and gave the Firestone Tire rep the information I had been given. He seemed completely clueless about the process even though the Enterprise telephone rep had told me that they work with Firestone all the time. When I could see that we were getting nowhere fast, I called the Enterprise number again, this time connecting with Will, the sales manager. His flip responses were less than helpful and he seemed very unconcerned that I had been given misinformation by a company representative and also inconvenienced by a wild goose chase to the tire store. When I expressed my disatisfaction with the whole process and told him that this experience had made me think twice about purchasing another car from them in the spring, his response was patronizing and unconcerned about the lost sale. This may be why there is such an emphasis at Tempe Enterprise car sales on having you report your "complete satisfaction" in a survey that occurs almost immediately after you purchase a vehicle. I guess they know the follow up service would never get a "complete satisfaction" rating. A dealership may be more expensive, but I think the greater concern for customer satisfaction in the long term will be worth the money on our next car purchase. read more
