It wasn't quite in the greatest condition honestly, but i'm an auto tech do to me, no big deal. Despite the minor stuff, the car is solid! And I did not think I would get financed for a car, but they did it! It's been awhile so I can't recall their names, 2 great guys! They sold me a 2018 Nissan Altima and it's been an awesome car. I would definitely recommend buying a car from there. The big dealerships screw you over, they push you into a car you don't want. These guys let you find what you like, no pressure, they are straight up what you can get financed for and how or what's needed to get the financing. They are very helpful and I would buy another car from there again. No more big brand name dealerships! And in reading reviews here, used cars will have some issues, you're not buying a new car after all. Overall, I had a good experience purchasing a BMW from CarMax Gilbert. One of the biggest…read moreadvantages is the no-haggle pricing policy--what you see is what you pay. There was no back-and-forth negotiation, and the entire purchase process was remarkably streamlined compared to traditional dealerships. From start to finish, it took a little over an hour to complete the paperwork and drive off the lot. Llyah was excellent to work with and made the buying experience smooth and stress-free. After purchasing the vehicle, I took it to a local BMW dealership for an independent inspection. They identified a few concerns, including tread depth that was below acceptable standards on three of the four tires and an overdue cooling system flush. The BMW service department suggested I contact CarMax to see whether they would address the issues. A few days after reaching back out to CarMax, I was contacted by Alexandria from the service department. She explained that CarMax generally does not perform preventative maintenance based on age and instead follows mileage-based maintenance guidelines. Because the vehicle had not reached the mileage threshold for a cooling system flush, they declined to perform that service, even though it had been more than four years since the last one. However, CarMax did inspect the tires and ultimately determined that three of the four did not meet their sales standards. They replaced all three tires at no cost, including mounting and balancing. I was surprised they did not feel an alignment was necessary, as I've typically had one performed whenever new tires are installed, but I appreciated their willingness to correct the tire issue without any pushback. Another issue surfaced a few days after purchase when a sour odor began coming through the vents. While trying to locate the source, I discovered a decomposing rat in the vehicle. Combined with the tire situation, this left me with the impression that the pre-sale inspection may have been more cursory than thorough. Despite those concerns, I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the efficiency of the buying process, and CarMax's willingness to resolve significant quality issues after the sale. The customer service was excellent throughout. That said, their vehicle inspection and preparation process before putting cars on the lot could use some improvement. If those areas were addressed, this would easily be a five-star experience.

They kept us informed throughout the process, coordinated directly with the insurance company, and worked diligently to ensure everything was handled properly. The dealership's service department demonstrated a high level of customer care and commitment to quality. What could have been a very stressful experience was made much easier thanks to their communication, attention to detail, and dedication to customer satisfaction. We are truly grateful for the exceptional service we received and would highly recommend both this dealership and its service team to anyone in need of vehicle service or repairs. Thank you for going above and beyond!

They never gave me a figure. I sent them a quote from near Las Vegas , and instead of working with…read moreme, their manager actually told me to just take that deal. For context, I recently bought a Subaru from AutoNation Subaru and received excellent customer service. Comparing that experience to AutoNation Honda Chandler, it's night and day--Honda could definitely take some lessons from Subaru on how to treat customers. Of course they will answer the review, and then ghost me once I call . Their GSM has my number I made multiple attempts to follow up--emails and phone calls--with no response. Eventually, I did get a call back (from the service side), and we had a pleasant conversation, but nothing moved forward on the sales side. Then Abel, the used car manager, reached out and told me that if the near Las Vegas deal didn't work out, he would make me a deal. Based on that, and wanting to avoid the long drive to Vegas, I canceled my deal with Henderson and decided to move forward with AutoNation Honda Chandler. Since then--nothing. Abel stopped responding completely. I reached out again multiple times, including calling the GSM twice and emailing him, with no response. Then, 24 hours later, I received a brief email from the GSM stating that the numbers didn't make sense and that unless I increased my offer, there would be no deal. No follow-up. No acknowledgment of what was previously promised. No communication during the process. Because of this, I lost the opportunity to secure the deal I already had in Henderson. That's not just disappointing--it's unprofessional. At the end of the day, if you're going to tell a customer you'll make something work, that should actually mean something.

VPS Rocks! (Out-of-State Purchase)…read more I've been searching Autotrader, craigslist and Facebook marketplace for a couple months now looking for another heavy duty vehicle for my newly started business. I've never used a auto broker before and was skeptical this would go smoothly as I usually try to have friends or family check vehicles out for me but we all know how that can be. I found VPS on Yelp and after doing some research by visiting his website along with the many reviews on Google/Yelp I decided to take the plunge. I contacted Dave via text late on a Saturday and was texted back that same night. He ask for a link to the vehicle I was interested then without asking pulled the Carfax of the truck and showed that it had been in a minor accident. We discussed more and I decided I was serious and ready to make the purchase. Dave swiftly took over and made an appointment with the seller, scheduled a basic vehicle inspection that included a diagnostic check as well as 10-20 photos of the body and undercarriage including a short video of the engine idling that I specifically requested. I then proceeded to negotiate a price with the seller that we eventually locked in. I was able to send the funds directly and securely witch gave me added piece of mind. Dave met with the seller got all the paperwork taken cared of (notary, title, bill of sale, etc) as well scheduled/coordinated a new windshield replacement that the seller agreed to take care of prior to selling me the vehicle. Lastly Dave was able to clean, prepare and store the vehicle safely till we could schedule shipping to me. Dave went above and beyond my expectations! He was willing to help with whatever was needed. Reliable, friendly, vehicle knowledgeable and great communication. This was the smoothest out of state purchase I have ever done. I will definitely use vehicle purchasing service in the future. SAFE, EFFICIENT and Reasonable! Thank you very much. VPS - "Enjoy your life, I got this" Best Regards! Daniel

Bought a 2021 ford ranger lariat fx4 from them back in Feb. The salesperson messed my name up on…read moreall the paperwork and had to be told multiple times what he did wrong to get it fixed. When he corrected it, he only corrected it on the DMV paperwork, not the auto loan, warranty, gap insurance, or any other paperwork. I pointed this out to them multiple times and they didn't correct it, resulting in me having to call all those institutions and get it corrected myself. He also did not flag the lifted truck option on the warranty he sold me despite the truck being lifted. They fixed this last part for free without any cost to me, so I guess they get half a point for effort there. Now that we get past the initial paperwork part of where this purchase went wrong, let's get into the mechanical issues with the vehicle. On my test drive, I noticed a burnt rubber smell coming from the left rear of the vehicle that I now know is symptomatic of a leaking rear axle seal. The power train warning light was also on the truck. I reported both of these things to the dealer and they said they would fix it with their partnered shop. They took the truck to the shop and told me they need to replace the wiring harness to correct the power train issue error. After that, they had to send the truck to a local transmission shop for a rebuild of the transmission, and that shop told me that there was an axle seal leaking. I passed that information on to the dealership to see if they would fix that or if I would have to, and they completely blew me off. Because of weeks back and forth where the dealership told me repeatedly that they'd communicated with other parties and then I call those parties and they all state they never heard from the dealership, I decided I no longer trusted that dealer or their mechanics at all and I took the car to a ford dealership. Immediately spotted the seal issue and diagnosed that the transfer case motor wasn't engaging. Swapped the motor and then had to diag that the wiring harness was messed up. I would not recommend buying a car from overstockvehicles or their partner organization valleycargroup. The only positive of this experience was getting them to foot the bill on a transmission rebuild for a vehicle that has known transmission issues.
