I had by far my worst car rental experiences of my life here. There are some very nice people that work at this location, but the Area Manager, Rudy, is very unprofessional , terrible at customer service , and condescending. The hard part is that as Area Manager , I cannot provide feedback above him to his manager. Enterprise literally doesn't listen to its customers. I was given an "upgrade" at the time of my rental that I didn't need or ask for that had a faulty seatbelt. I was told that they had run out of the smaller cars that morning... so I was "lucky" to receive a van. Due to poor communication, I had to pay out of pocket for this mistake (the difference between the smaller car and the van). It ended up being a significant cost to me. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone. Do not rent here. read more

Reserved a car several weeks in advance. Confirmed my pick up time with an agent over the phone the day before. Arrived the next day to pick up at scheduled time (10:30am) only to be told they didn't have a car for me!! -- but they MIGHT have one late afternoon (4pm) and they'd be happy to drop me off anywhere nearby while I waited. What?!!! I arranged the rental car to get to work which is NOT nearby. They left me stranded and scrambling to find an alternative and added unnecessary stress to my busy day. Ridiculous. And if this comedic story isn't enough, I received a voicemail this morning confirming another rental request for TODAY. Nope, not me. I didn't request a rental. I was assisted by Brian Z. at Enterprise kIRKLAND location. Geico, my insurance company, disputed one day of the rental car reimbursement and refused to pay for the additional day. I was going back and forth with GEICO for almost 2 weeks over this charge. Then, today I received a call from Brian Z. of Enterprise to tell me that he had gone ahead and reimbursed the fee that I had been charged, and decided to just eat the cost, knowing that I was struggling with the insurance company over reimbursement and decided to make things much easier for me! Interestingly, Brian Z., of Enterprise, decided to make things easier for me because GEICO would not admit fault, and take care of their customers! Way to go, Brian at Enterprise! I thought this Enterprise location was great. Laura helped me and was very thorough and went through the car with me to make sure I knew how to start the car and turn off ISG, etc. She was friendly and efficient. The RAV4 was in good condition (2021) and had no problems. Return was easy and all went well. She contacted me after I dropped the car off to tell me they would be refunding my deposit. I had previously rented a car from one of the Lynnwood locations and was not happy with the service or the car, so this Kirkland lot far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend. read more

I wouldn't give this place any stars if I could. I live in Seattle and needed a truck to rent to move some stuff and go on a couple more intensely bumpy roads (that my small car can't handle) for a hike. There were no trucks in Seattle, so the only place that had one was Kirkland. Even though it was way out of my way, I rented the truck for the day thinking I could take care of everything I needed at once. I arrived to find out that: 1) I couldn't use a debit card, even though the confirmation email states that Visa debit cards ARE ACCEPTED. And 2) The Nissan Frontier I had reserved had been "given away" already because I was "over 30 minutes late". Nowhere was it stated on the website or the confirmation email that the vehicle would be "given away after 30 minutes". So now, after driving out of my way, I was told I could have the only thing left-- a Nissan Rogue. This is not a truck. Not even close. What was the point in reserving anything to begin with if they are just going to give them away and make it impossible for me to find anything comparable? At this point, I was desperate for something larger than my tiny car so I begrudgingly took it. This is not how good service works. The error was on THEM and they should have offered me something comparable, given a discount for their misstep, or at the very least called me before giving away the vehicle I reserved! A word to the wise- steer very clear of this Enterprise location. They are unwilling to accommodate, honor reservations, or simply do as they say in their fine print of their emails. One star by requirement ONLY. Rented from an Enterprise location in Boise with a drop off location of Kirkland, WA on the same day. In addition, I reserved another car from Kirkland back to Boise about a week later. I'll start by saying my first pick up, at the Boise airport, was seamless. The Enterprise website gives the option of entering additional information so your pick up is expedited. I got to the rental location, they gave me the keys, the location of the car, and I went and grabbed it and left. None of the employees tried to push anything on me. I was literally in and out. A family member followed me to the Kirkland Enterprise and waited while I dropped the car off after hours and before the due time. I signed a drop off sheet with the date/time. I put the keys in the lockbox, and I left the car in the lot. I didn't really think about it until today. I reserved the car for my return to Boise at the same Enterprise in Kirkland. I followed the same steps to expedite pick up; however, at this location the "sales" rep took me out to the lot like a salesman at a dealership. He pointed out several high end cars and tried to up-sell me on the type of vehicle I had reserved. I reserved an economy car to get the best gas mileage possible. Mr. Salesman gave me one option (at the agreed upon price) which was still not what I had asked for. At this point I was already frustrated because I should have been in and out already, but Mr. Salesman wanted to go over the insurance (that I already addressed during the expedited reservation). I tried to explain that I just needed to get going, but he continued with the insurance, more than once, after I explained multiple times that I did not need it and that I really needed to leave. A process that took me 30 seconds in Boise was now moving toward 20 minutes in Kirkland. I had to get a little snippy about my not needing the insurance so we could wrap up his sales pitch. I took the one vehicle I was offered and left. I returned to Boise, dropped the car off (much the same as the drop off in Kirkland) and received my final receipt via email, and all was well. The Boise location properly closed out my rental, which was also returned after hours, and my card's final charge was processed within a matter of days. Today, almost 3 weeks after the first rental from Boise to Kirkland, as I was going through all of my bills, I realized that Enterprise still has a pending charge on my credit card in the amount of $222.00 (my rental agreement was for 35.00.) I also noticed there was no final charge to my credit card for that first trip. And, as previously mentioned, the second rental had already been charged and a receipt had been sent to me. This new pending charge reflected June 10th as the date of processing. I rented the car on May 27th. I called the Kirkland Enterprise today. I spoke with an employee, Nick, who couldn't really find any information on the car and wasn't really pleasant to deal with. He said he'd have to speak with his manager and/or contact Boise regarding the rental. To cut the middleman, I contacted Boise. The representative at the Boise Enterprise, Josh, after a large amount of frustration, first told me that they had listed the car as being returned to an unauthorized return location. Thank God, at the very least, I had the confirmation of rental email which listed the Kirkland location as my drop off point. Then, I was told that Kirkland never closed out my rental, and they've continued to be charge me since my drop off on May 28, 2020. I cannot locate a receipt on their website or in my email and with the second rental, I received all of that documentation. He also told me I should contact Kirkland, to which I explained that I had just gotten off the phone with them and still had no answer as to what was going on. Currently, I am awaiting a return call from both Kirkland and Boise with an answer as to what happened and a confirmation that their issue had been resolved. I know the lots have surveillance, so it would be relatively simple for them to identify when the car was returned to the lot. I mean, they actually could have done that when they were under the impression that the car was extremely late for drop off. So, unless Enterprise is attempting to do something shady with their billing, this whole situation seems inexcusable. The next step will be contacting my credit card company and alerting them to fraudulent charges. If it was assumed by Enterprise (Kirkland) that the car still had not been returned, why would they fail to contact me once via phone, email, mail, etc? Again, this is inexcusable. Unless, "why contact the customer when we can rack up more and more charges?" I wonder how much they pull in by charging 7x the agreement amount to a customer who doesn't pay attention to their credit accounts. I will never recommend or use Enterprise again. Actually, I will deter anyone I know from renting with Enterprise. read more

I went to this Enterprise location after my car was hit, and I had repairs done at BelKirk down the road. Great service, they got me a car similar to the one that was hit. Just wanted to give a shoutout to Kaitlyn who helped me out. I had just gotten into my rental car when she had noticed a mistake on the invoice sent over from the at-fault driver's insurance company, who had accidentally charged me as if I were at fault for the accident. Worst car rental experience ever!!! It should be a "0" star on Yelp. I reserved a SUV, but was late to pick up the car. The assistant manager Ander Chisholm was VERY rude and NOT helpful, he said they gave away our car because they can only hold cars for 30min. Really? He said it was their policy to only hold cars for up to 30 minutes. He did NOT even offer any solution, just straight RUDE and passive aggressive. This is the WORST customer service by far. ANDER CHISHOLM should not be any kind of manager when he doesn't know anything about customer service. Our second time coming here we worked with Branch Manager Kyle Emigh. We explained to him that we didn't want a car with paddle shifters like we had the first time we came here. He was very helpful, friendly, and professional. He not only apologized for his staff giving us a paddle shifter car with no explanations, but he upgraded us to a Ford Escape SUV at no extra charge. His responsive easy going demeanor made the experience that much better. We had a great ride and got our money refunded for bringing it back earlier than our reservations stated. (and I've had assistance from at least a handful) they are very busy but the people who work here do not rush customers and are patient with questions even as silly as: will this vehicle clear X height in a garage and how do you fold up the 3rd row seat? You might be thinking that's their job, but with staffing shortages and supply chain issues, everyone is feeling the pressure and customers are not the kindest right now. I rented a larger truck for a couple days because it was cheaper than a uhaul. The kid (and yes, he was a kid) that got everything ready was nice enough and promised that I would get the full 100$ deposit back. Never mind that he and his manager FORCED me to take their insurance. I got a call today from the branch manager Andy who told me "you don't know what you're talking about. No one told you that." My roommate was standing right next to me at the time. I explained that I have family that work for enterprise and I am well aware of how the system works. His employee promised one thing. Car Rental Horror stories....OMG! WORST SERVICE EVER! ENTERPRISE RENTAL CAR IN KIRKLAND WA. WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THIS MORNING. Made a reservation at 8:00am for a car so that parents could take my car for the weekend. Got to the location NO CAR...Informed me that I called 10 minutes ago & lvm. I informed phone was in trunk, she informed me you should have had it with you...WTF! The internet is sold out anyway as of 9am...It is just 9am now! If there was NO Inventory why do you have it open at 8am...Well its a holiday...WHHHHAAAT! We haven't had cars available! Excuse me! No availability, then she backtracked, but I didn't know that... I informed her that I needed to be in Seattle, WA at 10:00am, she informed me NOT My problem, and can't help..She stated there are NO cars available as they are parking clean cars and putting on lot. She informed me those cars need maintenance and can't be driven...WTF! KEEP DIGGING YOUR HOLE! At this point I asked to talk with customer Service she called and said department is unavailable...Another LIE! I told her to dial the number I will wait...2 minutes I got them! HUH! I explained situation to CSR, I am so sorry but nothing he can do the inventory on the INTERNET is not real time, and we do not know the inventory at anytime, so we do not keep up with the inventory. WTF! We really do not know what each location has, until you arrive. He stated I will get you to a location that has a car..OK! So I stated then I need someone needs to bring me my car in Seattle. Isn't that what the commercial says.....You ahve to read the fine print, he says...We don't actually do that! I stated I need to make sure there is a CAR, will you guarantee there is a car...YES I WILL! 5 times I asked to guarantee! YES! I told him to call, he informed me he will make an exception to call this one time...WTF! He came back and said he called and there is a CAR waiting....I get to the location at LEE JOHNSON chevrolet Redmond, WA...NO CAR! the agent stated noone called and his cars are only for the dealership--He Works for the dealership! NOW I am furious! I called the reservation line asking for custome rservice again, the agent said she can help....OK She then proceeded to tell me that since I made a reservation so late the people that made the reservation before has first dibs and it is first come first serve. So I stated if it is first come first serve I should have a vehicle, no you are not listening, you wouldn't want your reservation given away...WTF! You basically did you have no cars! The people are not even there to pick up cars and I am. Noone does it that way, she states, I stated do you stay in hotels? She states yes, do you think when you get there early that you got your room after the people that made the reservations 1st? IF you are thinking that you are wrong, if they are available you get the room. If there was no inventory then close it down. As she stated the low man on the totem pole gets their car last and you made your reservation last. So I call back and talk to a customer servie rep, he states no that is not true and that is not the way ENTERPRISE Rental Car works. then he transfers me to a locatin 50 miles away. Then I get a customer service manager and she states that they have no control over INVENTORY, they will let the computer book until the system closes it down. This doesn't make sense....So VERY LONG STORY SHORT! Enterprise will never Guarantee a car, they cannot guarantee inventory, the Internet does not have real time inventory and if they over book, you are Screwed. I informed everyone the customer service solution is to take me where I needed to go and offer a solution of we will bring a car to you. Do not rent at the Kirkland location, they have terrible service and are cocky..... read more

Absolute lifesavers! I needed a last-minute rental car when my own car was waylaid by an unfortunate accident (compounded by an inept tow truck). It was a summer Saturday, and the other rental place nearby was out of cars. Enterprise helped me. No reservation? No problem. They found me a car and gave me an upgrade just to be nice. The car was new and clean, and even with no reservation, I was out the door in under a half hour. The clerks were all friendly and helpful. Since I wasn't sure how long I'd need the car, I mentioned that - and was told it was no problem to return the car early for a prorated price, or to extend my rental if need be. Fortunately, I was able to get my car fixed relatively quickly, and I was able to return the rental quickly. I forgot to refill the tank and they cut me a break on the gas, and offered to drive me to the mechanic. Having your own car in the shop unexpectedly is stressful, but the guys at this Enterprise made it a little easier. I've used them in the past and my experience was similar then. Picked up a rental this morning while my car is getting worked on. The guy that was helping me out went over everything so quickly and started saying something about paying $18/day (I think for insurance?) instead of going through my insurance company. I told him I was already paying a bunch to get my car fixed and he kept arguing with me! It was clear he wouldn't take no for an answer, but he offered me a "special rate" of $12/day. I left pretty upset that he wouldn't listen to me at all and just wanted to make more money. Are you guys that desperate that you have to lower your customer service standards? I also had to call in what I thought was a check engine light on my Jetta, but was told over the phone it is a tire pressure light. Not thrilled with this company at all, and will avoid at all costs in the future. UPDATE: Spoke with my insurance company, and was told I do NOT need to pay for additional insurance coverage through Enterprise, as I will be covered through my company. They told me Enterprise should know better as they work with American Family quite a bit, but that they get a commission if they can convince someone to sign up for it. Day one at Enterprise Kirkland. Guys there were very kind until the guy in charge showed up and gave me the car he wanted to, giving me no option to get an economic or a different price rate. I really needed the car so I accepted and insurance it as it was mine.That day I had an accident and my car was at the body shop across the street and I live very far away from kirkland so I took the car. After many days driving the car the same guy called me(first call) to charge me for the days i have had the car telling me the reason that my insurance wont cover any more days so he called me because my card got declined. Fair enough, I paid in full with my debit card and he asked me if my car still in reparation, i told him yes and i will use it till my car is ready. Then after that call finaly i realize i can drop the car at a nearest enterprise which was at University District. They were REALLY kind and understood my situation. Bryan, the guy in charge helped me and gave me the car back and gave me a better low rate and didn't charge me for anything in that day, also i want to point it out, he undestood my needs as a persone who needs a car to go to work and any other emergency. THATS A COSTUMER SERVICE. Second call was the worst(Kirkland's manager). He told me that my credit and debit card got declined and so i have to pay NOW. I got upset the way he treated me, i told him i will pay and drop the car at University District but also ask him why he was so starving of payment. Bryan at University didn't charge me a dimme so why he was like that so his quote was "I need you to pay NOW or I'll report the car as stolen and also make a repo and charge you an additional 300 dollar". This is outrageous. After he quoted that I told him why is he treating me like that. He insisted on it and then i told him I will drop the car at University and he told "better hurry up, store close in 10 minutes" Now I'm riding a bus,my car still at bodyshop and i feel very disappointed. read more

ZERO STARS ARE TO MUCH TO ENTERPRISE KIRKLAND WA. On Saturday, July 6, my friend rented a car at Enterprise Kirkland because her car issues, when she drove to her work in the rental car, she noticed that the car was working weird, a had notice of "maintenance required from May 2019", and that the car was so dirty, so she called to Enterprise Kirkland to report the inconveniences with the car and she was told that the car was ok. Later, when she had her lunch break, the trunk of the car got stuck and she could not get her lunch or her wallet with her documents, and she realized that the plate had July expiration. On Sunday morning, Nora visited the offices of Enterprise in Bellevue, Kirkland, Seattle, and Renton trying to liberate her documents, but they were all closed, so on Monday after her work she went to Enterprise Kirkland where she was treated in a very rude way (because of her language barrier and her race). At Kirkland office, her purse and lunch (from Saturday) were recovered and the staff confirmed that the key of the trunk did not work and the maintenance's request was in place. Nora asked to extend her rental contract but with a different car, because she had lost time due to the issues with the initial car, but Mr. Kyle, apparently the manager told him that the only available car would cost her $10 additional per day, even though Nora was asking only for a working car or ride to go to Enterprise Bellevue where she is a regular customer, and the staff at Bellevue was offering help to her. Due to her urgency of transportation and her anxiety for the bad treatment and car's issues, my friend had to accept what Kyle (Enterprise Kirkland) decided, who also told her that if she was going to Enterprise Bellevue then they could have to fix all her problems with the car, and Nora would no able to have any discount, and would have to pay the additional $10 per day. He also threw the documents inside the car and gives the keys to Nora in a bad manner, telling her that he was working from 5:00 am. My friend is a single mother, has anxiety problems and is working hard to solve her transportation problem for her and her daughters and needs to rent a car for an additional week, but the price set up by Enterprise Kirkland is giving is unattainable and we found no satisfactory solution. I went to hertz and had a horrible experience(read more in hertz Kirkland's yelp). Then I canceled my reservation and went to enterprise. They were fantastic I was in a car and back to life sooner than I had expected. While the first employee who gave me the car was nice he did seem a little rushed. When I returned my car it was also an easy process and they even gave me a ride back to the shop! Great customer service! Especially from the 2nd guy although I didn't get any names! I have never been so happy with a rental car company/staff in my life. I dropped my vehicle off at Ford at 7:30 AM yesterday and was picked up very fast by a super nice employee from Enterprise. He drove another gentleman and myself over to Enterprise and was making nice morning conversation. I was in and out within 10 minutes which is amazing and he was so great about making sure I was set up in the rental car. He even offered to set up the Bluetooth for me. The BEST rental car company hands down! It was a fast and efficient transaction. A customer was being rude to one of the employees and I was so blown away at the professionalism that Hyatt had shown towards the customer. When dealing with the general public I could only imagine what these Enterprise employees encounter on the daily and are still so friendly and professional it's really amazing.
